    Chicken Souvla Skillet

I went to Mimosa on a busy Valentine's Day morning. I joined the guest list online around 8am for a 10am seating. After joining the guest list online, I received a text that said to text the number back when I arrived. I did that and was told I would be seated within 10 minutes, which was true! It was a smooth process and they did a great job of getting people in and out quickly. My food was delicious. I ordered the chicken souvla bowl with sourdough toast. It came with a butter and jam that appeared to be freshly made.

We were greeted and seated immediately upon our arrival. The restaurant is bright and cheery. Our server was great! She was pleasant, explained menu items as needed, and efficient. We ordered the blueberry omlette and eggs benedict with brown rice quinoa and lentil mix. Both entrees were fantastic. Everything was fresh. The cinnamon roll pancakes were also to die for! Fresh brewed iced tea was perfection! If i could eat here everyday, i would!

Been here a couple times before. And it has always been good. It's a look of a house that has been repurposed into a restaurant. It has ample parking out front, with a few steps to the entrance. There is also a ramp for wheelchair access. Inside the decor is bright, with lots of natural light from the front windows. Booth and tables offer plenty of space for different size groups. This time came with a friend for breakfast. Arrived right at 7:30 so we got right in. There were several other tables there. Got a booth with a window facing the parking lot. The noise level was good, and allowed for easier conversation. The server quickly got us settled in with menu, and waters. We took a few minutes to order, and the server gave us space to leisurely figure out what to order. (The server did a great job during the entire meal). Ordered a Beet Salad and an Omelet. It was literally only 5 minutes before we got the food (that must a near record). Everything was hot, (or cold), and fresh. The omelet came with pancakes and fruit, with good portions. The Beet Salad was very good, but I felt that the portion on the small size. (and I'm not a big eater) We were there for about 2 hours, and never felt like we were a burden. The server continued to check back with us, and was happy to supply more hot water for my tea. Again, another very good experience.

Was so pleasantly surprised the first time, and have been back a couple times since! I love to eat, healthy, but still indulge, and this place is perfect for that. Has things you would expect in a larger city, but in the suburbs and close to the interstate. I live in Milwaukee and my family lives in Racine, so it is a perfect meeting place and crowd pleaser. The service has been excellent every time, and everything inside is quite cute!

Food was delicious. I got so excited by my cinnamon roll pancakes I forgot to take a photo Service was fast and friendly But we went on a HOT Sunday morning and the A/C just was NOT keeping up. It was uncomfortably warm so I ate quickly to get out of there

You hear a lot about "Wisconsin Supper Clubs" and rightly so-find a good one, and you're in for a rollicking feed and perfect Cocktails. Not as popularly discussed are "Wisconsin Breakfast Nooks", but I assure you, they run on the same covenant as their Later-in-the-day cousins. We were up spending a day at the nearby Carma Labs, where they have inexplicably installed the Worlds largest and grandest Theatre Pipe Organ (a passion of mine since 1961). I hear they also make a fine line of lip balms. (Kidding-everyone knows "Carmex", one of life's little examples of a perfect product that does what it says it does and at a bargain price). At break, I hit the Yelps to ascertain a decent place to get brunch. I came across Mimosa here, and boy, was I glad! It's a nondescript place (like the best Wisconsin restos) EZ parking right in front. Inside, it's warm and heimelig (a bit of Deutsch worth looking up-it means "Cozy, like home"-and NOTHING to do with the anti-choking maneuver). The Coffee was GREAT, and that's always a harbinger the feed to follow is going to be fab. It was. I had a groovy Shrimp Omelette, the swimmers plump and fresh; with yummy taters on the side. I'm not usually a "breakfast tater" guy, but these were exemplary! My pals had picture-perfect breakfast plates of eggiwegs and all the sides. The service was warm and efficient, as you'd expect in a Wisco establishment. Throwing a solid five stars. It's not that far off 94/41 and worth the detour to and from Milwaukee/Chicago.

Everything about this place is good. From the staff to the food. The eggs benedicts are one of the best I've ever had. The sauce is the best I've had. We did not order one thing we did not enjoy. The flavors blended well. The ambiance is inviting and pleasant. Our server Cassandra was friendly and knowledgeable.

All around this place has great food and fantastic service! We had the Eggs Benedict with potatoes, the Pollo Picante Omelette with potatoes, and the Lemonberry pancake. A mimosa. A cup of chicken dumpling soup. We also got the March Special: Farewell, Adieu, Bye Pancakes. Our server Cassandra was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Our food was served fast and it was hot. The portion size is large. We took some home with us. My husband said the Hollandaise sauce was the best he's had. But the flavors of everything we ordered was amazing outside of the soup. Not the best we've had, but not the worst either. The facility is nice. Plenty of seating and comfortable with space.

Service was nice and there was plenty of space. Crepes were okay but quite eggy. Potatoes were just fine.

I associate this place with work (which I shouldn't) but it's very close to my HQ and I end up taking quite a few business meeting and meals here. I need to come back and just experience and enjoy a meal with my family. I feel like everything I've gotten there has always been fresh and tasty. I would say I've especially enjoyed the salads and most recently I had a breakfast yogurt parfait that was elaborate and delicious. It's really spacious and always seems super busy. I again would love to try it when I'm able to drink a Bloody Mary or a mimosa aka not during a work meeting ;)

We sat at the bar and had a great experience at Mimosa! Service was friendly and attentive. Loved the customizable mimosa....you get to pick your bubbles and juice, which is such a fun touch. We split the crispy maple chicken sandwich (perfectly cooked and full of flavor) and the eggs Benedict, both with sides- fries and fresh fruit. Everything was delicious and nicely presented. We'll definitely be back!

Highly overrated. The gluten free pancakes and French toast were subpar. The maple syrup is definitely not maple syrup.

What a great find!…read more We're in town from Illinois for a baseball tournament and stopped by Oak Creek Diner for breakfast. From the moment we walked in, we knew we'd found a local favorite. The counter service was a great bonus and gave the place that classic diner feel. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The corned beef hash was some of the best we've had, the Western omelette was loaded with fresh ingredients, and the meat lovers skillet was hearty, packed with bacon, sausage, ham, and plenty of flavor. Every plate came out hot, the portions were generous, and everything was cooked just right. Friendly service, great food, and a classic diner atmosphere. If you're in the Oak Creek area, whether you're a local or just passing through like we were, this place is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

This is a solid breakfast spot and every table was in service towards the end of our meals. We had a chili cheese omelette and the country fried steak breakfast. I had the country fried steak this time but I did have the chili cheese omelette on my last visit and I didn't snap any pictures because a customer had a medical emergency and an ambulance and fire truck came to the restaurant but I remember liking it. The decor is nothing fancy but it's not a dive with over priced omelets like my breakfast experience, look at my last review. The country fried steak was noticeably bigger than most places around town except for NA cafe which is a real country steak and I just expected a frozen restaurant supply quality. It was golden brown with that commercial sausage gravy which is the norm for 99% of breakfast restaurants around town so I'm not going to knock them on that because I'm a country fried steak guy all my life. The sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly. The extra crispy hash browns were cooked perfectly and the sourdough toast was better than the average restaurant where you couldn't tell if it was white or sourdough with that chew. Overall it's a solid breakfast spot with all my visits and at $13 it's $9 cheaper than my last breakfast experience at a dive restaurant and hits the spot.

I saw a picture of their breakfast burrito on social media and made plans to stop the next day. In addition to the breakfast burrito, which came with a side of hash browns, I ordered cheddar broccoli soup and was gifted a brownie for visiting. The breakfast burrito is build your own with a bunch of different options for meats, cheese, and veggies. I went with bacon, American cheese, and spinach and wasn't disappointed. The burrito was hefty and every one of the ingredients stood out. This is something I would definitely come back for. The three hash brown patties tasted as you'd expect and I appreciate that they weren't cold in the middle or bland. You can definitely notice the freshness in the soup. It was thick and used actual florets of broccoli, not just the stalks. Given the size of the burrito I had just eaten, though, I wish there was an option for a smaller portion of soup. The bowl was large and if you just plan on having that as a meal it's fine, but I would have preferred buying a cup as compared to a large bowl. Hopefully that's something they consider as a menu tweak. I'm not a big brownie person, but I enjoyed it. Like the burrito and the soup, it was a sizable portion, so worth the price if you're buying one. I'd be interested in trying their lemon bar or coffee cake on a future visit as those are more up my alley. I enjoyed talking to the woman who was prepping the dining area while I was there. She mentioned that Senor Luna's next door is their sister location and that Miss Daisy's has such early hours (currently 5am during the week) so as to cater to the nearby business park. I appreciate the early hours because I can easily make it there and back over to where I work in plenty of time.
