Best Greek food I've had since arriving in the area. Salads are large, fresh and cold. Good Greek sauces and dressing. Beef and lamb gyro is very tasty and good size portions. It includes a half spanakopita, hummus, 2 dolmathes, 2 falafel balls, tomatoes, cukes, olives, peperoncini and choice of white or wheat pita. I also ordered a side of tzatziki. Yummo!!! Every aspect of the meal was flavorful and the hummus was creamy and smooth. I enjoyed every bit of it! Even ate the lettuce garnish with the remaining hummus on it. The Olive Tree is pretty much a fast casual dining experience that specializes in serving authentic Greek food. The Menu here is full of your traditional Greek items one expects to find in such an establishment like Greek salad, Gyro sandwiches, Shish Kebabs, Falafels, Spanakopita, Dolmathes, and Souvlaki. Prices are pretty reasonable and everything is al a carte. It's a very simple ordering process where you walk up, take a gander at the menu and place your order. You then pay, have a seat and someone brings you your food. All dishes are made on premises from scratch using the finest ingredients. Olive Tree is family owned and operated, and a sign says they have been dedicated to serving the highest quality, best tasting Greek cuisine for over 34 years. I'm certain they have not been in business in Viera for over 34 years, but there was a poster of some sort talking about the family being from New York and having a similar business there. The kitchen and prep area is open, so as you move along the line you can see them making your food. There is a decent amount seating inside, but on a Saturday, it can get packed and seating may be limited as the space is not that big. We decided to split an order of the Falafel balls. These were really good, and served with an interesting yogurt based dipping sauce. My wife and I both were craving a good Gyro, so we each ordered one. This was by far one of the better Gyros I've had in quite some time, and this thing was loaded with meat and toppings. They actually make the pita in house too, and it was delicious as well. These can be ordered with Souvlaki, or with grilled chicken and served on white or wheat pitas. Although we did not try any, the dessert case looked to have some really appealing items in there, like Baklava, Rice Pudding and Honey and Spice cookies. I have a lot of family in Brevard County, so I'm sure I will be back to the Olive Tree Greek Grill. This spot is located in a very nice shopping area. Be careful, there is a chocolatier next door! It is a simple atmosphere and you place your order and your food is brought to your table. Moreover, you do receive a to-go cup and dispense your own beverage. For starters, we ordered the hummus and falafel appetizer. The falafel was delicious with more parsley than I have had before; but, very fresh and the hummus was not too lemony and served with 3-4 pieces of sliced cucumbers and some black olives. This is a small plate. I ordered the small Gyro salad (beef/lamb) and it was loaded with protein. Very fresh and balanced well with the feta and dressing was on the side. My husband ordered the chicken shish kabob and it was served over yellow rice. There were large piece of grilled onion, zucchini, and tomatoes. He didn't like the tomatoes because they were cooked too much/mushy. The pita bread is served, oh, so warm, in a foil pocket. Yum! Sweet lunch spot! read more

Absolutely great food! The staff was great and helpful, they walked us through the menu and explained all the options they had to offer. The food had great flavor and was very fresh. It was jam packed on a Saturday around 1 so we did wait a while and had trouble finding a seat, but I'm glad we waited. I'll definitely be back! read more

I have been here over 5 times and I have never had a bad experience here. The greek salad is so fresh and flavorful. I always get a chicken Gyro with skorthalia sauce (perfect for garlic lovers like me.) Their desserts are also excellent. Baklava is out of this world!!! Great food, terrible service. I have dietary restrictions and kindly asked to have a Greek salad with no lettuce or Romain (authentic Greek salads do not contain these ingredients anyhow) but was told that was impossible because "tomato cost more than lettuce" as if I was going to put them out of business for receiving one too many tomatoes. To make matters worse, after I left, I opened my bag and noticed they charged me for soup that I never received. When I called, an employee named Allison was rude enough to ask me if I was "completely sure" about the missing soup. She obviously has experience doing nothing important with her time at work but I do not spend my free time calling customers liars about missing soups. The only way I'm coming back to this place is if management puts customers first and not lettuce or soup. read more

Had lunch here a few days ago. We had gyro plates, kids gyro plates and soup. The food was good and the service was friendly which means I would come back if craving Greek! However, I did feel the food was a little pricey. Mainly, the prices are same as expected for a "plate" but any sides were additional. Or else they are counting the salad as the side, I don't know. Therefore, I'm not sure if it is a "plate" or simply, a gyro. Also, my kids gyro plates were the meat on top of rice. Which is fine for my 5 year old, but my 8 year old would have liked the veggies that usually come on gyros.
