I have been here twice. When I drive up to the window to place my order I am warmly greeted. The first time I ate here I ordered the gyro platter which comes with a gyro, spicy fries, and salad. The gyro tasted jusy ok, leans a bit toward the bland side. Their house made white sauce is very bland, almost tastes like straight yogurt and needs some spice badly. The meat too lacks much flavor. The spicy fries, not spicy at all and could find zero hint of spiciness. The salad is a total afterthought, just some veggies with what tastes like Italian dressing. Today I'm back and ordered a beef kabob plate. Again I was warmly greeted. The beef was tender but bland, zero spice or even zero hint of salt, pepper, anything. The rice too was very bland and the sauce too bland again. The bread was not warm but the salad was a bit better this time but still weak. This place is a bit of a dive but a diamond in the rough it is not. A street cart in just about every urban environment I've tried makes much better food. No idea how this place has so many 4 and 5 star reviews.

Falafel platter (hummus, salad, falafel, pita)

If you blink you will miss this place, but it is AMAZING. Some of the best, tastiest falafel I've ever had. Portion sizes are generous, and all the food was fresh and crisp - very healthy and delicious. I am in town only for two days, and I drove 10 miles just to eat at Sinbad's and I will be going again today. DELICIOUS! The owners are also very precious and nice :)

The place had high reviews. I ordered a veggie falafel pita sandwich. It had in falafel. The veggies were lettuce and tomato. The flavor of the falafel and the lentil soup resembled more Indian flavor than Mediterranean. The rice was yellow but lacked any flavor. It was not a aromatic middle eastern or Mediterranean rice. The fries were good and hence the 2 star bonus. This food seems to lack any character that resembles Mediterranean food. A

I stopped by here to check it out for a second time since I have been here before about three or four years ago and I thought it was just OK. I have extensive experience with Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food and I love it. I think it's amazing. This place doesn't look like much and it's not fancy and it's a good place to go have a sandwich, something quick to eat that is not greasy burger. This time I did not do a Platter I did a Gyro. It took them about five minutes to make it and the cost was $8.55 on the menu. It's 799+ tax, of course, it comes wrapped very nicely and it's in a little brown paper bag so I felt like the presentation fit the cost. I have included photos it's got fresh lettuce that is Chris and very nice and crunchy. The tomatoes were also very fresh. It has onions and a sauce that is nice, but not very powerful or overly flavorful, but it has that Mediterranean taste to it. It does have onions, but the onions were not super powerful either the Gyro meat was about maybe three decent slices. I wouldn't say that it was a heavy serving but it was appropriate for a 799 sandwich I think that for what you're paying you're getting a good value it's filling it's it's very healthy for for the type of meal that it is they do have french fries available for $2.99, and they have other things that may be of interest like lentil soup, or a platter, which comes with rice, and a side of either hummus or tabouli. I think that this place the test of time it's not someplace that you like absolutely want to go out of your way to run over here and go eat but if you're in the mood for Mediterranean food definitely, I would stop, there's nowhere to sit outside except a little covered area with some eclectic seating, but not a lot of seating and no real shade from rain or heavy elements on a hot day would be very warm to sit out there but to grab and go it's pretty good.

Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL 32940…read more 2 Stars As I recently discussed during an interview with the Orlando Business Journal, Brevard County has seen a large increase in Mediterranean cuisine establishments. While most work hard to provide quality food, there had to be a Subway version of this ever-popular diet at some point. Lachrymosely, loyal reader, this is that place. Celo's Schwarma Factory (or Mediterranean Bistro according to Face Book) takes the lines of least resistance to previously unforeseen heights. I ordered the Gyro Bowl and a Falafel Pita. Taking a seat, I was about to snap some pics of the interior but got distracted by my companion. My apologies. Our order was up, and I began the job upon returning to the table. First up on the Big Boy's distinguished palate was the Gyro Bowl. All bowls, like a sandwich, begin with the base. In this case, as in most, it was rice. This rice was so crunchy (my guess is it had been scraped off the sides and/or bottom of the steamer where it had been sitting for hours) that if I had any crowns on my teeth, they would have surely cracked. Seriously, I've had rocks that are more masticatable. The Gyro meat was extremely low-quality, and the veggies were uninspiring. Having more than one bite would have been cruel and unusual punishment to any patron, let alone one of Mediterranean decent such as myself; therefor I moved on to the Falafel Pita. This was average to the palate. The Pita was obviously not made on site, and I hazard guessing neither was the Falafel. There is nothing wrong with food service products if they are not bottom of the barrel and your execution is spot on. Whoever was behind the grill today was executing properly and this dish was the reason it was not a 1 star review. The Big Boy says, "There are so many fantastic Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurants on the Space Coast that there is zero reason to go slumming in this joint and dine on disagreeable flotsam."

We ordered the large mixed kebab platter and it came with salad, hummus, Baba ghanoush, garlic paste, warm pitas and olives. Terrific appetizer and a fantastic kebab platter that the 2 of us could not finish - truly enough food for 4! We took all our leftovers home and enjoyed them the next day. We also had some excellent baklava (with pistachio our favorite) and took one home. And then they gave us some tasty rice pudding too! We were beyond stuffed! We are definitely going again even if it is 50 minutes from home. Lastly, the price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. A+ experience! Highly recommended if you're looking for something different and special. Update: went for second time and it was less impressive than the first. We ordered the same platter and the Kibbeh appetizer. The Kibbeh was dry and not very flavorful unfortunately. Also the platter was not served in the same impressive way, smaller portion, and less WOW. We may give it a third try but this moved from 5 Stars to 4 on the second outing. Hope the 3rd visit is better or it may be our last as it's 50 minutes from our home.
