The food was fresh and delicious. The owner was also my server and he was so nice. You can tell he puts his heart and soul into the food.

I found this place through a google search, and my family came here for my birthday dinner (4 of us). It was a Tuesday night and almost completely empty. We chose a booth in the back and the owner (Domenique I think is how he said he spelled it) was our server and made us feel very welcome right off the bat. He was very nice and very funny, and talked to us about family and his restaurant and was an all around great person to be around. We ordered stuffed grape leaves and two kebbe balls for an appetizer and because my dad mentioned it was my birthday he brought a plate of hummus and pita bread on the house as well, and it was all very good. We ordered the lamb chops, beef kabob, shrimp kabob, and falafel plate and we all loved our food. If you really wanted me to find something to complain about, then I guess I could say the salad that came with my meal had a really strong lime flavor. BUT I was so focused on my lamb that I downed the whole plate before I noticed the salad next to me, and maybe was a little too full to like it. We also ordered the Turkish coffee, which I though was good even though I don't like my coffee black. My dad and brother really enjoyed it though. Then, Domenique and his son (who arrived later and said hello to us as well) came over with a piece of baklava with a lit candle stuck in it, singing happy birthday to me, and it was DELICIOUS even though I was already full. My dad ordered four more pieces for us to go and Domenique came back with five (so he had very generously given us two pieces of baklava and an order of pita and hummus on the house). I'm so glad that there's a good Mediterranean restraunt in Pasadena now! I ordered the kebbe balls with tabouli and hummus, and all I have to say is that it was amazing! The owner is very nice and friendly towards you, and it makes you feel welcomed. The owner was also kind enough to explain all of the benefits of eating Mediterranean food. I had grape leaves n a kebbe ball. Liked both but really enjoyed the kebbe ball. My sister had a gyro n fries. Had steak and lamb in it. She said the fries were delicious. This was my first time here, and it was so good! We got the hummus with pita, and it tasted so fresh and yummy. We shared a Greek salad which was seasoned very well. And we shared the mixed grill. It was delicious. When we asked for one Check, my mom told me she was paying for my birthday lunch. I've lived in this area for a long time and never been to this restaurant! I called in an order for carry out and while I waited, the staff was amazing and so attentive! Some of the best customer service! I walked in either both my little girls and was offered drinks on the house. My little one spilled some water on the floor and right away someone came to clean up and make sure we were fine and not wet. We also got there just in time for the belly dancers and they asked my daughter bella to dance! Overall wonderful 1st time experience. I'm a vegetarian but I saw an eggplant dish made with meat that I asked about. He said there wasn't a way to separate the meat out, but that he would make a special eggplant dish. It was amazing! Had the pleasure of eating here on 8/14/2015. The staff was great, very attentive to all customer's needs. The menu was somewhat limited. As it is a Mediterranean restaurant, was looking forward to eating lamb but it was not on menu. I was told that Lamb will be added to the menu later this year. Settled on a beef kabob, and my wife for the Cornish hen, the food was great, tasty and fresh. We will be returning soon. read more

I've been to tons of different places and I love good Mediterranean food but it takes just the right touch to get things right, and I tell you this place hit every nail on the head! I ordered the gyros over Greek salad it was very elegantly plated, and I like that they provided extra dressing on the side so you can add it to your liking unlike some places that just cake obscene amounts of dressings onto their salads before hand and you can't even enjoy your salad. The olive oil and spices drizzled on it was combined with a slight tangy flavor that complimented the cucumber slices and tomatoes in the dish really well! I tell you I don't even like tomatoes or olives and I was literally scarfing both of them down like nothing just because it all tasted so good together! Last but. Or least the gyros was super soft and sliced thinly and was seasoned just right some places over do the seasonings and have to strong of a flavor with it but these people in the kitchen did everything right! kudos to this place I would eat here every day if I could! read more

OUTSTANDING! The food is delectable. Every item I have ever ordered from here has been over the top delicious. I crave it even after I've eaten here for the day. The service is just as good. I ordered the okra and beef tenderloin. It came with a salad and rice for $13. The portion was small, and there was absolutely no beef at all in my meal. The rice seemed to be something like Minute rice with vermicelli. The tomato sauce was starchy and probably something straight out of a can. When the manager (owner probably) was shown that there was no beef in my tomato saucy rice and okra, he insisted that there was but that it was the "end of the day" (6:30PM), and it had "cooked away." Absolutely a lie. He was insinuating that the beef had dissolved into the sauce. Ludicrous. He wasn't backing down either. He even went and asked the cook if the meat had been put in earlier in the day. Sure enough, "about 20 pieces" were put in. Why couldn't he find even a small particle of one on my plate? This place won't be open long, and I'm really surprised that there is even one good review for this place. I recommend that you pass this place by. Make the drive to Fadis or Al Bashaar. read more

Food was delicious, BUT WAY OVER PRICED. I had the gyro salad and with tip it ended up being $16!! Didn't even have a drink! Also asked for no olives on my salad and it had olives on it. Also asked for lemons in my water and it took the server 15 minutes before she realized I asked for lemons. I don't think I'll be back to pay $16 for a salad! read more
