Passion Fruit and Chocolate Cake
Pamela M.

I visited Oliveira's as a last-minute change of plans due to the rain and was able to secure a reservation just 15 minutes before arriving--super convenient! When we got there, parking was available right in front (street parking), and we quickly rushed inside to avoid getting soaked. The hostess greeted us and seated us within just a few minutes. However, the seating area felt cramped. My chair kept bumping into the one behind me, and I had to move often for the servers to get by. The table behind us was a large group, and every time someone arrived, they cheered loudly--cute at first but a bit obnoxious after a while. We were so close to the table next to us that their belongings ended up on our table when we stepped away. We chose the all-you-can-eat option, so we went to the buffet to grab sides. The line was a bit chaotic, with no clear flow, and it felt a bit cramped as we bumped into each other. That said, the variety of sides was amazing--different types of rice, chicken, pork, BBQ ribs, oxtail, yuca, cheese, plantains, salmon, and other fish. The salad selection was also a refreshing touch. Once back at our table, we turned on the green light, and the servers began bringing around the meats on skewers. We didn't leave hungry! Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. We each also had one drink, which was decent, but not the best I've had. In the end, the meal cost us around $65 per person. Great place for an authentic brazilian meal.

Caipirinha

The bar was great. Real caipirinhas. While the buffet is not fogo de chao, it's very good. The best thing they have is the pay as you go. 14.99 a pound for every trip. It was great for me. I was able to get Picanha, garlic filet, lamb, cheese bread, fried yucca, beans and rice and it all came to $15 bucks. I was full, I had everything I wanted, and was able to have a second caipirinha. The wine list is exceptional and next time I'll be wading into that.

AYCE ($49)

Try: AYCE! Why: Solid Brazilian Steakhouse with AYCE dinner for $49. Great selection of meats like steak, sausage, and chicken. My favs were sirloin and garlic beef. Good buffet for cold and hot plates. I had the white sangria but didn't love it - only had a few sips. Overall, very filling and satisfied with selection. Notes: They have parking lot and street parking available, which was convenient. We went on a Saturday evening with a large group of 8 so made reservations ahead of time. Large table was ready upon arrival. It was packed with a line outside. They also do takeout and pay by weight. Welcoming and friendly workers. The meat kept flowing to our table with various options, which was much appreciated.

Enjoyed my experience here at Oliveira's Steak House. We got seated right away despite having no reservation so that was lucky. We were seated on the outdoor patio which was quite lovely and the weather was perfect. Our table was wobbly but they helped us fix it. We started off with a pitcher of the red sangria which was great. We then decided to order the all you can eat option which is where they bring you unlimited meats. You can also go up to the buffet as much as you want. They give you a card so when you want more meat, you leave the green side up, and when you want a break or you're done, you flip it over so it's red. Cool concept! The meats were some of the best I've had. Juicy and flavorful is how I'd describe them. The steaks were excellent. The buffet food was also delicious, my favs were the potato salad and rice. They also brought pao de queijo to the table which was so tasty. The more you say yes to the faster you get full, so definitely pace yourself and think about the things you want to enjoy!! I left feeling so full and really enjoyed my meal from beginning to end.

On a short weekend trip I went to Oliveira's twice to try the diff locations. Service was quick and fast and food was so good. It's the best meal to have after a long plane ride. You def can't forget the pineapple and the other additions to the meat was so good. I liked that here, they ask you how much meat you want before serving it to you and the servers were just so nice, even though we were in a corner booth!

I really wanted to try one restaurant during Dine out Boston week so I decided to go with something I never get enough of: MEAT. So I headed over to Oliveria's Brazilian steakhouse to try their AYCE deal. They had a special this time with AYCE meat and buffet table as well as adding in drinks and dessert and we paid $55per including tax. The inside of the restaurant is way facier than I was expecting considering this is an AYCE place. The staff were also very great in bringing the meat around but it got busier later in the evening when it was time for the check. The great thing is you can pay via QR code on the receipt. There were lots of different meats: sausage, sirloin, beef with cheese, beef with bacon around it. They even had this thing that was pineapple with cinnamon which was yummy. The food overall was great but the meat for me was pretty mid etheir too plain or just too salty from ... the salt not much any flavor to it. Now forget about the meat for a second and let's talk about the buffet bar. Here I was thinking it would be like some Chuck E Cheese business like no they had fish, spaghetti , bread, asparagus, some shrimp salad salad thing. I was using the cucumbers and watermelon to make some room in my tummy but if i wasn't so focused on the meats I would have been getting everything from the buffet but because it could have filled me up by itself. After finally finishing the battle we shared a delicious flan. Overall, a rainy night well spent. Prices $$ Food-8 Atmosphere-9 Service-8

Flan was so good.

Solid Brazilian BBQ place in Boston area. Went to lunch, had the buffet option. Meats were delicious. Well seasoned and good variety. Buffet table was decent, rice and beans very tasty. Their beef stew was good on its own. While we were stuffed, had to try the flan. So good. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Good parking lot.

Loved the food here and the ambiance. We did a rodízio so they came every few minutes to give us more meat. The service was great and they were very attentive to us throughout the meal . I would definitely recommend this place !

Side view of cucumber salad and cinnamon dusted pineapple. Of course, things are covered with meat. There's no way around that.

All the rotisserie meats wete what makes a Brazilian restaurant right? I had bacon wrapped chicken, really soft, beef brisket, sirloin beef, pork, even pineapple dusted with cinnamon. II had the traditional sides on my plates: rice, cucumber salad, Spanish fried banana. I sat at the bar because I hadn't called ahead and booked a reservation on a Saturday. There, I ordered a pineapple juice. Instead of getting the normal can of pineapple juice, the bartender made me a homemade pineapple drink with pineapple and ice. I also ordered water with lime. I was surprised to see a bartender squeeze a lines worth of juice into my water. So much better than a couple wadges thrown inti a glass of water. Plenty of food. No need to go with the all you can eat option. Parking may require waiting for a spot to open though.

Ask the Community - Oliveira's Steak House

What is included in the all you can eat?

All included is types of sides at the buffet - salads, pasta, rice, veggies, bread, etc.... Also you get at the table, every cut of steak you can imagine- prime rib, sirloin...plus chicken and various sausages.

How much is the rodizio dinner?

You can either pay $30.99 for all you can eat or I believe $9.99 a pound. They also sometimes have a special of 2 all you can eat dinners and a bottle of wine for $80.

How busy is lunch on a Sunday?

I went with a large party and had made a reservation beforehand. It was pretty hopping there, but not too bad.

How much is the buffet for each person for lunch?

25.99

Everything we ordered was tasteful, no complaints. We ordered the long bone steak . Recommend. Going into this restaurant we figure it will be pricey, which is fine for quality and experience. Business attire is required according to the website which I'm ok with. If you're looking for quality food and don't mind paying for it , this is the place. The ambiance was cute, the drinks were fine but holy mother of God were the desserts icky. We ordered the black forest cake which was coated in salt. When i ordered it I was thinking of a salted Carmel approach, not a salt lick appropriate for a horse. Also, I get this was a deconstructed cake, but it took about 6 bites to find the actual cake under the heavy layer of salt and various mouses. We also ordered the bay leaf ice cream, which can be best described as fine. I gave up on both shortly into the journey and let the icecream and mousse melt. Perhaps their mains are more appetizing or they were having an off night. I will not be back to find out. Excuse me while I dunk my head into a horse trough of water. So thirsty.

When we came in we were greeted and our coats were taken and put away. They have rotating specials that our server walked us through. We ordered all three of the mock tails on the menu -- Odin's Oracle was a sparkling elderflower and passion fruit drink, the Northern Rose was fruity with a slight thick cream of coconut base (and the tables favorite!) and the last drink was a warm ginger drink. They all came out looking beautiful. For food, we started with the Halloumi Cheese which was delicious and perfect for sharing (comes with four pieces), then tried the Blueberry Ricotta Cornbread (really well made and yummy but needed a little more butter spread) and the fried burrata (huge serving of burrata with balsamic, fig jam, warm bread, just as good as it sounds). We tried the Braised Short Rib Croquettes which were stuffed with short rib and topped with sooo much yummy cheese. We also had the Pappardelle braised shore rib Ragu which was truly delicious-- would highly recommend. For dessert we tried a special menu bread pudding which was a perfect end to the night. Our leftovers came perfectly packaged in little baggies with dish names and dates written on them which is so cute and thoughtful!
