The staff there is truly into their craft and provide the best time for all their services. I finally got to try their sandwiches after years of coming for their charcuteries and various classes (all of which you truly cannot go wrong with), and they were to die for. We split their classic grilled cheese and the TBB and they were both nothing short of phenomenal. The grilled cheese comes with tomato soup which was delicious, and you're able to choose a side for all their sandwich options (we chose arugula salad, which was perfectly lemony). My one and only suggestion would be to offer a toasted option for the TBB sandwich, but it was also truly great as is - I would definitely get both again! Also a random rec but they carry a pretty hard to find red sparkling wine that is AMAZING - Cleto Chiarli Lambrusco Amaible, must try!

Are the dairy farms from which you get your milk humane certified? Are the cows treated with hormones? I think this information would be valuable to the consumer; my choice to consume your product is entirely dependent upon the level of the welfare of the animals from which you get your milk, and I think this information should appear on your website. This particular review is on their Brie...eh echm,…read morelets begin...I am really trying to like Brie, maybe because of the hype or maybe because I love me some cheese. I was excited to get a wedge and let it get to room temp while I cut all manner of fruit to have my first taste of Brie. In Culinary School we ate many different cheeses and rated them...a full spectrum of cheeses was at our munching pleasure....except Brie...? odd. But now I believe I know why it was not there. First it smells like a storage shed made of concrete with too much moisture. I tried it alone and it has a creamy texture that was nice but the shed smell is now in my mouth. Kiwi, Star fruit, Honeydew, strawberries, green grapes all unimpressive. So still trying to like Brie I chopped the ole faithful yellow apple which made it palatable, but then the apple usually does...I mean throw shredded cheddar on warm apple pie and go to heaven. I digress, Brie is not the cheese for me and I would not recommend it to anyone else, don't waste your money. Besides the shed taste and smell it is full of disappointment...and I can eat the ass end of cheese. Crumble some Gorgonzola on a homemade pizza and I'll be over but you serve Brie and I'll take the rain check.

This local liquor store in Skokie has been in business since 1936 offering an great selection of wines and spirits. They also have a small deli offering gourmet food products. Their Warehouse Wine sale was super crowded in a separate warehouse with thousands of cases of wines at reduced prices. They did offer free tastings of many of the wines on sale . They carry just about every imaginable liquor as well as wine and beer and also have everything you need for a charcuterie board inside the historic shop. Many rare and expensive bottles were locked up and on display. In the warehouse they had cases of wine stacked and an open bottle on each one for tasting. Complimentary popcorn and cheese spreads were available as well as huge baskets of bread for palate cleansing. The place was packed with people loading up their carts with bottles and they had a drive through lane marked off outside for case orders to be loaded into your vehicle. Staff was on hand to answer questions but it felt like if you don't ask they weren't going out of their way to be helpful.

I had the pimento dip, the 3 cheese breadsticks, and the baguette with fig spread and honestly considered canceling the rest of my day and just living there. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtful, and ridiculously good. The bread was perfect, the cheeses were rich and flavorful, and the fig spread with the baguette deserved its own fan club. The drinks absolutely held their own too. The Summer Spritz was crisp and refreshing, while the sangria came in with a polite smile and then quietly reminded me to respect it because wow, it was strong and delicious. Beyond the food and drinks, the whole place has this warm, beautiful French market vibe that feels cozy, elevated, and welcoming all at once. Great atmosphere, amazing flavors, and the kind of spot that makes you start planning your next visit before you've even paid the bill. Highly recommend.

They also sell everything else you might need to create a charcuterie board, like wine, jams, chocolate, bread, and crackers. I still need to try one of their sandwiches.
