It's unfortunate that I receive the exact opposite on my second visit. I was waiting to be helped and they took two white men, and an elder white lady before me, even though I was acknowledged. I can understand if they're older and they wanna be helpful first, but there is no communication on this.... And then I saw the sign. I should've taken a photo cause it was a little startling, and unfortunate that they expressed so openly their political position and hate for Wokeness. I've heard some stories how they are true MAGA and slightly racist, but you have to experience it for yourself. You have to give a place a chance. And it saddens me the way I was treated on my second time back. Folks everywhere are just so sad and upset these days, every life has been disrupted in someway the last 10 years for multiple reasons. It's stressful out here, but it's also stressful trying to get good quality food with all the regulation changes. I travel out of the country multiple times a year and American food is just the worst. So I'll keep searching for quality in both the product and in the customer service. In some small way, it's good to know a store position because I don't wanna give them my business. It's so weird to fight against progress. And it's even weirder to think Wokeness is a thing. Stay asleep.

It was like an old school grocery stop with a deli shop that was busy when I walked in. Had me curious enough to come back and try a lunch sandwich from here. This meat market has the soup bones for my dogs for a decent price also. I never wrote a review with the intent of a follow up review as I have to come back, grab a sandwich and buy some ready made family style dinner trays that looked like it would make my cooking nights way easier! The lady Çathy up front was extremely knowledgeable of the place. I will be back very soon to provide an update on the family dishes and sandwiches! Can't wait!

It is a quaint store with a variety of Filipino items, produce, and frozen foods. In the back is where the food is and they were out of the pork belly by the time we arrived. We bought some barbecue ribs and the last of the barbecue chicken wings. They also gave barbecue sauce to go with it. The barbecue ribs and chicken were good. The ribs were really tender and there was a hint of spice in them, but not overbearing. We are unsure if they make their own barbecue sauce, but it was just as delicious. I spoke with one of the ladies there and she said on Saturdays, they will have more food aside from the pork belly, ribs, and chicken wings. All I can remember is brisket. I wish we were going back tomorrow just so we can try it. But, next time we are in Highland, we definitely will!

This is a hidden gem! I thought the ribs were outstanding! Nice texture (if you like a little more chew to your ribs), nice smoked taste...I didn't even use sauce. Straight off the bone! Delicious! I can't wait to go back to visit my family so that I can get some more of these bad boys! Trust me...if you are looking for well-executed bbq, look no further. This is a MUST TRY! Oh, and the pork belly wasn't too shabby, either! Melt in your mouth!

From traditional Christmas cookies to new twists on the classics (sugar cookie with crushed peppermint pieces) these cookies are not overly sweet, crisp, and delectably melt-in-the mouth with the perfect proportion of textured-add ins. I have even been known to take a couple in a plastic bag to savor later. In the last few years, cookie chains have sprung up, bringing with them cult followings for their elaborate, often hubcap-sized tricked out confections and rotating flavors. Against this backdrop, Butterfingers stays true to the classics, turning out quality products, year after year, that stir nostalgia and evoke positive emotions, much like you-know-who's madeleines.
