Zero stars for the women who failed to make my kids' dinner on July 4th for an hour, and then sent us home with half the food ice cold. Called to confirm they were open and how much lead time was required, especially given the holiday. Was told 20 min. Submitted online curbside order for 34 min out. Arrived 4 min late with kids and called to see if they could bring out the food. They said it wasn't ready yet, but hung up before I could ask how long it would be. It took them another 28 minutes to produce our food, while my toddlers cried in their car seats, hungry. Who knows how much longer it would have taken to be brought out if my partner hadn't have gone in to wait for it. Drove straight home to find ice cold beans and fries that looked so bad no one in our family even tried one. Steak was half rare, half well. Chicken mole is two drumsticks. Nothing tasted good enough to return for, even given what a food wasteland this is. If you haven't started an order that you received 38 minutes ago that is already past it's time, you should admit your mistake. I would have taken a refund and took my kids home for leftovers. The best! Ever since my husband and I got back to LA after visiting Olivia's in May, we say how much we wish we could easily go back because it was the best Mexican food either of us have ever had. Olivia's Cafe is my favorite place to eat, if I had millions of dollars I would live of there food. I have tried every dish and I love them, there food reminds me a lot the way my mom would cook. Absolutely delicious restaurant and wonderful staff. We are out of town and needed to have food delivered to an unwell family member. Olivia's made the most delicious soups, house made corn tortillas, popusas and bean burritos. Even though my family is outside of their delivery area they offered to deliver anyway. So nice to know that in these rough days of 2020 that there are wonderful people while offering excellent food. We can't thank you enough! Chicharon Con chili or chicharon ranchera delicious it looked good and tasted good .I asked for a lemon for the juice you know ,and the waitress told me if I wanted the rest of the juice chicharon and I said yes the waitress brought it to me it in a separate bowl .my friends and I had corn tortillas trying it was delicious ,you have to try to experience the "Sabor de su Comida".by the way our hostess was outstanding very caring and suggestive about the meals 5 estellas. read more

We were tourists staying at the nearby Pajaro Dunes looking for good Mexican food and found it here. Our phone in order for curbside pickup was handled in a polite and friendly manner and, what we were hoping for, classic good Mexican food was found. The place itself is in a charming little old house for what it's worth. As vegetarians they informed us their beans do not have lard which was a major plus. Their salsa was super good and spicy. We ordered cheese enchiladas and they were not overly greasy, and classically prepared. If we're back in town we'll be back. read more

Terrible food. The meat was highly questionable, which was substantiated by its after effects as well. The rice was garlicky but otherwise tasteless and overcooked. The sauce was runny and sugary. I ordered the Chile Verde plate. The pork was better than I expected. It was very tender and flavorful. The HAND MADE tortillas are delicious. I would say the tortillas are some of the best I have tasted outside of Mexico. My wife ordered the pupusas. Olivia's describes them as pupusas a nuestro estilo (our way). Which i'm glad they did as they resemble "mulitas" instead of Salvadorean pupusas. Imagine the filling between two thick tortillas. Never the less they are still very tasty. I ate twice at this place in the short time I worked in Whatsonville. The food tasted like homemade food your mother or abuela would make, and the service was fast and friendly. In the two visits, I ordered: Chilaquiles Con Queso Fresco, Taco De Pollo, Asada Sope, and a side of flower tortillas. I really looked forward to coming to a new restaurant in Watsonville. The place is so much cuter than the last place. The remodel is really nice. The staff was really nice too. The food was good but not great. The dishes are big. There is a lot of food. The asada in my sope could have used more seasoning. The papusa and the chile relleno were good. The spices were a little different but I chalk that up to region. My biggest gripe is the cost. First, if you are going to advertise $3.99 on your menu then you should have $3.99 on the bill not $4. Second, when you order a side dish that is $3.99 and then it comes out as $4.50 what happened? Is it the lettuce that was served on the side? If so I should have been told so I know what to expect. Would I go back? The food was good enough to go back. The prices are low and the amount of food is a lot for the money. I would pay more for the dishes I had, I just want to know what I'm paying. read more

Hidden gem in Watsonville! I've literally have drove pass here not knowing about the amazing dishes they serve. It has a authentic homey atmosphere with a beautiful front patio where you can eat outside too.
