Only downside is they are so far away and not in such an easy or convenient location for suburbanites or inner city dwellers of Chicago. But if you can get an appointment and find the spa - be on time - come an hour early if possible. Take the train and taxi the rest of way. A taxi ride to spa from fox valley area is about $87 - $120. And that works too if you plan a two hour commute and get there usually in 45 minutes to 75 minutes to at most 90 minutes. Then wait and be glad your there EARLY. LATE AS 15 minutes and they cancel your services. Also the CO2 LASER IS A MIRACLE. The Botox administered is alright - better than most administrators of the cosmetic injectors I have found in Chicago and suburban areas of Illinois. It just doesn't seem to last as long as I'd like it to. Filler I have not yet tried. Be nice super nice because it helps if you decide you want to try adding on a service that day or changing your services. They do accommodate on some rare occasions but it's still worth it to be as calm and nice as possible and follow their regimens. This is a beauty spa, do not go to this place or this doctor if you have any medical needs. The short time I saw this doctor was not only a complete waste of time and money, but it also was a detriment to my health. AS SOON as I went to another doctor, they were able to diagnose me and help me with immediate results. Dr. Olivio diagnosed me with IBS which isn't even close to what I have and prescribed me medical that was extremely expensive. If I had continued to see her, my health would have suffered. She was at least 30 minutes late for every single appointment and when I did see her, she was rude and unsettling. Not to mention, this is the kind of doctor that grabs and pushes and clearly doesn't care if she hurting you. Every time I talked to her, it was like going back to square one. The doctor is not present and for someone in the industry of care, I never felt that kind of care. This place has no business practicing medicine. I met with Michalina for a consultation and she advised the CO2 laser treatment for me. I am 63 years old so I trust her recommendation. There was no pressure. Michalina told me I could come back later and do what she recommended or we could do the treatment that I had already booked. I decided to go for it and do the Erbrium Laser treatment that I already booked. I have to say I felt like I was in good hands and I trusted Michalina completely. The MiraDry is SO Expensive and does not guarantee results. The numbing shots made my sweat stop but once I healed, the armpit sweating returned. I returned to Olivo, completed a sweat test was, showing positive sweat glands, and was told to PAY FULL PRICE to repeat the painful treatment and hope for better results. Since it was my first time ever I was a little nervous as I didn't want my face to look permanently frozen (I'm an over-thinker I can't help it). She talked me through the entire procedure and I felt super calm and comfortable throughout the entire thing. She made a couple of suggestions to other areas where I could use some Botox (Note: I'm 38 and lord knows I probably need it a over. Lol) and never made me feel pressured to agree on getting it done and I really appreciated that. Today was my first visit at Olivo MedSpa. From first impressions, the med spa was decorated very nicely for a Valentine's Day event that I was attending. Very aesthetic, very clean, and all of the staff members were very friendly. My appointment was for a derma-plane and a jelly mask facial, the timing was perfect and the derma-plane service was very rejuvenating and relaxing. The jelly mask facial however is where I took stars away in my review. Yes the facial felt amazing, but during the service my hair wasn't properly covered and the mask dripped all over my hair and neck. Usually you can wipe facials away, but this facial hardens quickly and the aesthetician even kept apologizing and trying to wipe it out of my hair. After the service it was still all over me, stuck in my hair and dried to my neck. I immediately went to the bathroom to try to wipe it out, but couldn't get it all to come off... Now an hour after my appointment I'm still peeling the pieces out of my hair and I feel as this could have been avoided. read more

Diana and the Olivo Medspa team are so friendly and accommodating. I've been seeing Diana for more than 1 year. She is extremely knowledgeable, nice and provides an amazing energy to the experience. She does an INCREDIBLE job, and most important she ask me if I am alright, or if I need a break between the laser and if I see any results with my treatments - which I CERNATLY DO. I love the results, my skin it is smoother and the hair it is softer and doesn't grow too often, I can shave once a month, and I am good with it (P.S. before the laser treatments , I needed to shave every 2 days, that was annoying and irritated my skin). I've been coming here for the past 4 months for laser hair removal. Results are incredible and Arianna is so professional and quick! I love the job she does every time I come here. Their prices were the lowest within the Chicago area but they raised them as of April of 2022, probably due to inflation which is understandable. My appointment time was 1:30 pm, but the aesthetician did not arrive until 1:48 while I waited in the cold outside the salon. I had no place to hang my coat or set my bag down, and stood a dark waiting room while the aesthetician put paper on the table and set up the room. When the facial started at 2:11, the aesthetician asked if she could take her shoes off and work barefoot. Okay!?! Then the hydro machine ran out of fluid and the aesthetician did not know how to fix. I laid there awkwardly while she asked the repair guy. He didn't know either. There was no steamer. The room was cold. Funny that I was here for the third attempt at a redo for a vein treatment. I bought a facial to make the most of the trip given that it is an hour by train. The first time on veins the doctor did not use the right settings. The second time the doctor had me come all the way out just to tell me that she wanted to reschedule the re-do to use the new machine at the new clinic. A couple of weeks later I made the trip to the new site but was a little embarrassed to be treated as part of a group training session with the laser reps. The laser rep turned me away because the doctor had forgotten to recommend that I stop using Retinol prior to the treatment. Scary! The shoeless facial was my the fourth attempt at vein services and the third re-do. As I had to leave the salon for another appointment by 3pm, my hour facial was reduced to 25 or 30 min to make time for the vein re-do. The story does not stop here. The office manager kept texting to say she would call to talk about these problems, but she never did. When we finally spoke, she blamed me for the problem by saying that they had bent over backwards to serve me and that I was a problem customer. Her aesthetician said the appointment was at 2 pm, but I had both texts with staff and an auto reminder text to confirm that the appointment was clearly at 1:30. There was no apology by e-mail, by phone, or otherwise. In addition, they tried to over-charge me on my first visit. When I went in for a consultation, I made sure to get a written price quote. When I arrived for the treatment, they charged me an extra $50. The doctor did not use the right settings, and I had to fight with them for the refund and redo. Now I have to fight with them again for the refund for the facial. I have seen no improvement with the veins. One of their aestheticians, Diana, does a really great job, which is why I returned. But over-all, they have major problems with leadership and quality. Services are a wild card because staff are not consistent. read more

This was in 2018: The doctor never showed up. Although they had scheduled my consultation at the location I had showed up to, the doctor was at a the other location that day. They asked me if I wanted to wait for the doctor, and I agreed, but she never arrived. After about almost an hour of waiting one of the estheticians said she could consult me if that was okay. I agreed since they seemed like nice people and I understand mistakes happen. In a rush (she had a client waiting for her), she starts "consulting" about my face without even asking what services I was interested in. Long story short, I was there for something else. I clarified, and she made her recommendations, and I was given a discounted certificate to make up for the inconvenience. This experience really left a bad taste. I had a Gilt City certificate for a Hydrafacial and it was amazing! My skin isn't terrible by any means, but I do have some pigmentation/dark spots and dryness. My skin was glowing after the appointment and now almost a month later its still so smooth and hydrated. The Gilt City offered an awesome deal that unfortunately sold out quick, but I would definitely go back and pay the full price for this treatment. On top of that, I was interested in purchasing some products and my esthetician was so helpful and realistic about what I needed, she told me I didn't need to spend a ton of money and pointed me to an affordable plan rather than over-selling something I didn't need. This week, I received two text messages asking me to confirm the rescheduled appointment. Finally I took a Lift after work to the spa and guess what? No one was there and the spa is closed.
