this place was so cute. the service was so nice and they even helped me pick out what i got. I got the spicy tuna Kimbap and the strawberry matcha. the kimbap had the perfect amount of spice and the matcha was so creamy and flavorful. i would say the price is so fair, i spent $23 including the tip. i need to come back and try the tteokbokki!

Oh my gosh. This place is divine!! I ordered the Chicken Katsu to go and was astonished at the portion size. For $17.99 I got a massive portion of chicken which comes with rice topped with black sesame seeds and a cabbage and corn slaw. The Katsu truly could be enough for 2-3 people to share in my opinion and was perfectly crispy and seasoned. The gravy on the side tasted a little sweet and savory, tasting kind of like a combo of ketchup and brown gravy in a really delicious way. For drinks, I enjoyed a yuzu lemonade and my friend ordered the strawberry matcha. Both were delicious and served in such cute cups! The servers were so sweet and attentive and they really seemed to enjoy what they are doing. The interior part of the store has a cute market area, where you can get little Korean snacks and drinks. There is plenty of seating inside, it's clean, and I think it could even be a good study or work from home space in there. They also have a couple seating options outside now as well!

I love that this Korean restaurant/store opened up in Nashville! The kimbap was really good but the ttekboki was a tad bit dry, I think it needed to be cooked more. The teas were really good but the price itself is quite steep for what you get. The service is quick even when they have a crowd and the cafe itself is super cute!

We stopped in Olle today for a quick lunch while shopping. It's a cute place hidden at the back corner of a shopping mall on White Bridge Road, near Trader Joe's. It's a combination small market offering packaged Korean specialties, a refrigerated section with about a dozen varieties of ban Chan and (of course) Kimchi, and an interesting variety of asian and run of the mill (i.e., Coke Zero) canned beverages. We ordered the vegetable mandu, seaweed rolls, pork cutlet tonkatsu, and tofu jap chae, along with a strawberry yogurt drink. You order at the counter and then take a numbered table flag to your seat. There's a dispenser of water with submerged lemon slices to self serve drinks, if you don't want something from the display. The mandu were large, crispy, and filled with a tasty melange of chopped veggies. It was served with the same dipping sauce that the seaweed rolls were offered with. The Seaweed rolls were essentially nori, filled with glass noodles, then tempura fried. The sauce looked spicy, but was not; it seemed to be a sweetened soy sauce based dip, similar to Chinese dumpling sauce. The tonkatsu was a large portion of juicy thin pounded pork loin, topped with a fabulous tonkatsu sauce, and served with rice and a shredded cabbage salad with corn and a somewhat spicy mayo based dressing. A perfect bite of pork, rice and dressed salad, was magic. The jap chae was a big hot bowl of cellophane noodles with mixed veggies, and planks of fried tofu. Delicious and filling. We also bought a small package of the surimi/veggie pancakes on sale at the counter; dipped in the mandu sauce, they were a tasty treat. Total for all of the food plus one Coke Zero was about $50. Totally worth the price for super-authentic Korean food served with a smile!

Finally made my way back. I originally came here about a week or so ago on their 2nd day of opening. At this time they had a very limited menu, but I was determined to come back to try it out. Today was the day. Service was great and everybody was so welcoming. I ordered bulgogi kimpbap and a peach green tea. Food was fresh and very filling. I even had leftovers to take home. It's the details for me from the labels on the prepared drinks, the "newspaper" clipping on the tray, and the personalized heavy duty trays. They have a section within the establishment where you can buy drinks, snacks, and other packaged food items native to the culture. There is indoor and a couple of picnic tables outside for seating. Worth every penny. Go give it a try.

Olle was a great fast and casual Korean spot. However just a little pricey for the entrees for it being a casual fast spot. They had a lot of banchans (which are sides) for sale ready in the fridge which I love for a good price. I picked up the pickled cucumbers, seaweed, and kimchi banchans. The beef kimbap was delicious. As you can see, it was super packed in each piece which was flavorful. It had beef bulgogi, egg, and veggies. I also got the deopbap which was beef bulgogi over rice, fried egg, and lettuce.  That was really good.

Wow Olle's was greaaaattttt! I loved this spot, it's very popular and you can tell they do well by how packed it got on a random Wednesday for lunch. They have a ton of options on the menu with a Korean shop on the side. The desert options are a must as well. Such a great spot, I'm coming back soon!

Honestly my expectations weren't high, but I'll have to say we were very impressed. I like the fact that it was clean and the staff were friendly. We picked up a few sides, some were better than others, definitely authentic. The food on the menu were basic dishes, the bulgogi kimbap and the japchae were really flavorful. The best part is that is right by Trader Joe's.

We visited Friday night of opening week & were really impressed! You order at the counter & then seat yourself. Despite it being crowded with somewhat limited seating, we were able to find a seat & the line moved fast & the food came out under 20 mins. Very impressive for being officially open for a few days! Menu is simple but enough. They have the staple Korean dishes with some fun drinks that you have to try. We ended up ordering the Jeyuk Kimbap, Bulgogi Bibimbap, & Pork Tonkotsu. We also got the strawberry matcha latte. Total was a little over $60 without tip. Both the quality & the portion sizes of the food were excellent, relative to the price. And the strawberry matcha was one of the best that we've tried. Ambiance is super casual. They have K Pop playing in the background & a neat market/grab n go area with some banchan & other Korean drinks/snacks. Highly recommend grabbing a milk cream bun to take home for dessert! Overall, highly recommend!

Overall: I can't wait to come back when I'm craving Korean food! I got the taro matcha latte, tteokbokki, and the bulgogi kimbap. My favorite was DEFINITELY the tteokbokki! The matcha was really good too and the kimbap was solid. I had actually originally come just for the ban-chan, but unfortunately I didn't see any kimchi or the fishcake that I was hoping to find. They did have some squid and octopus which looked good too, but hopefully they expand the choices! I did get some snacks like the flavored seaweed and some drinks (strawberry milk, banana milk) that I've noticed are a little harder to come by around Nashville. Service: Really nice staff and food came out quickly as I ordered it to-go. Ambience: Cute and clean and aesthetic! The little market is on the side wall of the restaurant. Took a lot of cute pictures.

I stopped by Olle Korean Eats during their soft opening, and it did not disappoint. I'd been watching the restaurant prepare to open for weeks, so I was thrilled to finally try it! I ordered the beef bibimbap, which came loaded with fresh veggies like cucumber, carrots, and a perfectly fried egg on top. Since it was opening week, the cashier also kindly offered me a sample of their strawberry yogurt, along with a bite of a sweet potato dessert. Both were delicious, and her friendliness really added to the experience. I spent about $20 definitely on the pricier side for lunch, but the portion was generous enough to stretch into dinner as well. The restaurant itself is so beautiful with lots of lighting and plenty of seating/cozy vibes. I also loved that they have a small market stocked with Korean snacks and drinks. Overall, Olle Korean Eats truly lived up to my expectations.

I have been here quite a few times and always order something different. I have not been disappointed once. It gives more of a pickup/fast casual vibe as there is a little grocery section and you order at the counter/they bring it to your number. The bungeoppang is the perfect sweet treat. Sometimes they have special flavors and I highly recommend trying from my past experiences!

Ambiance- There isn't much too the space, it has the same set up as a fast food place but the small "grocery" corner is cute. Service- You order at the counter and your food is brought to you using a number they give you. Food- Peach tea was very good, kimbap was a bit dry and the sauce they served it with tasted like a sweet mayo. Just okay.

We were so happy we gave this a chance and waited the hour+ to get in. Without doing much research, the surprises throughout the dining experience made it even better. They pair you up at a large table with other guests. You're introduced as cousins, brothers and sisters, friends, whatever you want! But you're going to be passing dishes the entire start and getting to know your neighbors at the table. So many things came out that were incredibly delicious to try. Chicken, pot roast, mac and cheese, corn mash, coleslaw, potatoes, sweet potato, biscuits, pasta! All of it was incredible. There's peach tea and lemonade too at the table and a pecan dessert at the end. Amazing experience and it was so cheap too. Only recommendation other than to absolutely try this place is to be respectful of the time you're there. They cycle people in and out pretty quick and you're given a card to remind you that when you notice tables near you getting reset for another group, your time is up and it's time to go!

With a reservation, we walked right in with no wait. The most difficult part of the evening was deciding what to order because the menu offers so many tempting choices. I selected the Kvarøy Arctic Salmon, while my wife chose the Springer Mountain Farms All-Natural Chicken. Both dishes exceeded expectations. The salmon was cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. It rested on a bed of greens with a subtle lemon flavor that paired beautifully with the fish. The chicken was equally impressive--moist, tender, and packed with flavor. What stood out most was the incredible smoky aroma that hit before each bite, making it even more irresistible. For dessert, the Blackberry Lemon Bread Pudding was the perfect finish. Soft, warm, and bursting with flavor, it was a standout ending to an already exceptional meal. From the outstanding food to the attentive service, Urban Grub delivered a fantastic dining experience. Make a reservation, enjoy the meal, and see if you can find the place.

It is tucked in a neighborhood in the West End, and most people were surprised we found it or had heard of it as non-locals. It is a very popular spot. We arrived 20 minutes early and snagged the last parking spot in the lot behind the restaurant. Eric R. wanted to sit outside, so we were directed to wait at the bar until a table opened up. I got the cucumber sage yuzu spritz mocktail, and Eric R. got a local amber beer. Our table was ready within 10 or 15 minutes, so we migrated to it for dinner. Our server was helpful in providing recommendations. We started with three shareables: the mussels in lemongrass serrano beer broth and grilled bread, tempura long-stemmed artichokes on Calabrian chile mascarpone, and the lamb lollipops with pearled cous cous. I tasted the lamb, and it was heavenly, like melt-in-your-mouth tender but with a lot of caramelization. That was really Eric R.'s choice so I let him eat the majority of it. I really enjoyed the mussels and the artichokes! Everything was hot and delicious. I was sipping broth with a mussel shell when the bread ran out, and the host came out with more bread for us! It was so good. We asked to see a dessert menu. Eric R. had a tough choice between carrot cake and blondie with caramel ice cream, but was steered toward the blondie and did not regret it. I asked what the house made ice cream was for the day, and it was coconut matcha with a white chocolate shell topping. That sounded so perfect, and it was AMAZING. The evening was beautiful, the restaurant was lovely, the service was fantastic, and the food was delicious! That is the answer!

HEADS-UP the happy hour menu is bar-top only, so plan accordingly if you're going specifically for those deals. Limited seating available. Happy Hour & Spice Level I had the happy hour cocktail it was bourbon, lemon and honey. The food was flavorful overall, but I do wish the menu clearly noted which items are spicy. Most of the happy hour dishes seemed to have some kind of chili oil or heat element. That may be great for people who enjoy spice, but it would be helpful to know ahead of time, especially if you're sensitive to heat. For dessert, we always come back for the chocolate panna cotta with graham cracker crumble and burnt marshmallow, which was a nice sweet finish. This one is a must! To put this into next level I recommend adding the pretzel bites instead of graham cracker and a few salted flakes. We also tried the almond butter cornbread with blackberry, but I would avoid it. It was pretty dry and didn't have enough balance. The manager? Said it was a new item they were trying. I think it would be much better with ice cream or a salted caramel sauce to add moisture and richness. It was dry even when I mentioned it they didn't comp it we only had a bite and immediately decided it wasn't worth it. Final Thoughts Overall, Answer is a nice spot with a great happy hour, but clearer spice notes on the menu and a few tweaks to the dessert options would make the experience better. If you are seating by the bar it gets loud I wish the bartender doesn't just throw the drinks/plates so aggressively that it clanks. Also this place gets loud definitely not a lot for sound to absorb.
