I'd give 5,000 stars if I could . Absolutely mind blowing this gem is in a food hall of all places in Nashville ... Really fresh tasting . I appreciated the mini pho bowl and many vegan options . You must try the coconut dessert. The edamame dumplings are delicious and something I will forever crave .

Vui's kitchen is in a food court. I've had very authentic pho in areas where there's a large Vietnamese population, so I can't say this was the best pho I've had. Considering there are fewer Asian food options in Nashville, it was pretty good. I felt the ingredients to broth ratio was high. The bowl was quite small for the portion, and there could be more broth. (You know when you're trying to get a good bite of your noodles/ingredients + broth, but gotta really push down with your spoon to get some broth, cuz the ingredients are crowding the surface??) Staff was exceptionally nice (brought over extra chili and hot sauces and limes). I ordered the chicken pho which came out to ~$15.

Grateful to add that I've visited Vui's a second time now with a takeout order for Pad Thai and Spring rolls. The food was delicious and hot and ready on time. Yet another amazing visit and I'll be back again!

Ordered food for delivery right when the store opened. It arrived so quickly and was very fresh! I read other reviews commenting about how the produce was old, but I didn't experience that at all. Everything was the right temperature and the bases of items may have lacked flavor, as expected, but the broths and sauces were explosive and bright. Beef noodle bowl: very large portion. I also ordered with a small bone broth to just put the noodles and beef in the broth with chili oil (the only thing that spilled all in its separate bag). The veggies that came with the bowl I ate separately, like a salad, with chili oil and the dressing - so good!!! I could have done that salad a million times over! The fried scallions and cilantro were so nice. I also ordered a side of mushrooms. They were quickly cooked and not even all the way, I'd probably pass on those in the future. Chicken dumplings: these came in a serving of 4, tossed in chili oil and quite large. The filling was a little on the salty side, but not too much. I still thought they were good. Summer rolls: as imagined they were very fresh, soft and crunchy. The sauce they came with was sweet and spicy, we also added some of the dressing from the noodle bowl. The only thing that would make these perfect is if there was cilantro and sliced avocado inside the roll. Basil limeade: okay, so I was a little unsure about it saying there were chia seeds inside. Was this drink going to be thick, would it be too much? Well I'm here to say it wasn't. There aren't that many and the basil is very muted. But the citrus is right in your face! I personally found it to be much too sweet, but other that that it was a nice limeade.

    Chicken dumplings were not great.

This was a hard no for me. It sucks to write about how bad something is, but man the chicken dumplings were just a mush of maybe chicken with no flavor and a weird mouth feel. The pho was better, but not the best I've had.

Rice bowl with Chicken & cookie

Ordered through Uber eats, my ordered was prepared very fast and delivered within 30 minutes - got the chicken rice bowl & cookies. The chicken rice bowl was alright, give it a 3.5 out of 5. The chicken and fried topping was pretty good but the rice tasted stale/old & the daikon and carrots had a really bad after taste - like the carrots were old. The lettuce was brown and not fresh either. The "fish sauce" that it comes with - definitely on the sweeter side and not the OG fish sauce from a real viet restaurant. Chocolate chip cookies... very mid. they were on the crunchy side and were pretty small. Yes, they give you 2 cookies - $1 a cookie. Kind of taste like pre packaged store bought cookies. I would say this place is more of an Americanized Vietnamese restaurant. As someone who lives around Vietnamese cuisine in Houston, this place is super mid. Tried East Side Banh Mi in Nashville my last visit and it was better than this place!

This is my go to dinner meal. I order takeout 2 to 3 times a week. The past month they've changed their take home box's to a new box that's WAY smaller than the normal larger one. Yet they're still serving the in restaurants meals in the same large bowl. This is definitely just a sneaky way to screw you and save them money. Please return to the normal size boxes.

I was in town visiting my cousin and we had lunch here one day at the Hunter's Station Food Hall. I love the concept of food halls and this was one of the options there. We started with the SUMMER ROLLS: Shrimp, noodles, green leaf lettuce, arugula, carrot, cucumber, fresh mint and scallion, wrapped in soft rice paper. Served with peanut sauce. Nice flavor, lots of fresh veggies, good peanut sauce. My cousin and I both had the NOODLE BOWL with shrimp: Choice of protein, vermicelli rice noodles, green leaf lettuce, arugula, pickled daikon and carrots, cucumber, fresh mint, cilantro, fried shallots, crushed peanuts and scallion oil served with chile lime dressing. I really liked this. Lots of fresh veggies, fresh shrimp. Love the scallion oil on top, along with the peanuts. Very filling. Overall a nice spot for Vietnamese food. I would love to go back to the food hall to check out the other options.

Was craving some pho while on vacation in Nashville, TN. Found this place in the food court and thought i would give it a try. It was really delicious for shrimp pho made in the south. They gave a lot of shrimp compared to most restaurants I've dined in for pho and that is saying a lot. The bowl was also very big. I would definitely go here again if I come back to visit for some quick pho. Also my sisters bowl looked really good too!

I wish I could give this meal more stars but I got food poisoning from this meal. I really think it was the chicken wings. I believe they were undercooked because the wings were pink in the middle in each one. I just assumed they were supposed to made that way. I did like the drink and the sandwich. The staff were super sweet. I'm hesitant to try again given the experience I had.

$18 Steak Pho and this is the amount of poor quality steak that comes with it. Don't waste your money.

This restaurant has amazing food, fresh, tasty - every single time. The food is beautiful- even the to go meals. The service is fast, employees are great. I treated myself to a birthday lunch Rice bowl with Pork Belly which was absolutely incredible- melt in my mouth. The afternoon was perfect- I sat outside in the sunshine watching the world go by. Don't miss this one. Parking us the biggest challenge but oh-so worth it

Unfortunately, the experience was even worse. It took over an hour to receive our first round of drinks, and several of them arrived improperly made--including espresso martinis garnished with olives. The second round took even longer, and the overall service flow was chaotic and disorganized. Food and drinks arrived sporadically rather than together, and it was obvious that the staff lacked support and leadership. I want to be clear: our waitress, Ellie, was not the issue. She remained kind, professional, and did her best under impossible circumstances. Our concerns were never directed at her, and she deserves praise for maintaining her composure throughout the evening. The real problem was management. Despite the extensive delays and obvious service breakdowns, no manager proactively came to address the table. When we finally sought assistance ourselves, we were met with excuses rather than accountability. Even more disappointing was Angelo's dismissive and snarky response, telling us to "proceed" when we expressed our concerns. Rather than supporting his staff or attempting to resolve the situation, management's handling of the evening only made matters worse. To add insult to injury, we were presented with a bill claiming the birthday girl's meal had been comped when it had not. A complimentary bottle of champagne delivered at the end of the evening did little to remedy an experience that had already fallen apart. As fellow hospitality professionals, we understand that mistakes happen and generally extend a great deal of grace. What we cannot excuse is the lack of accountability, poor leadership, and the apparent willingness to let a server absorb the consequences of management's failures. Ellie deserved support (which is what the table took care of.) Instead, she was left to fend for herself while management failed both their guests and their staff. Sadly, after two disappointing experiences, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Red velvet, gold streamers, a fancy chinatown vibe. You get a welcome cocktail for free, just for walking in the door. We sat on the patio, though a number of seating options are available. The patio was warm and breezy, lit with Christmas lights, and well separated from the street (though every now and then obnoxious street hotrods might make some noise). We started with the jammy ramen egg. And it's exactly as described. Jammy, not too runny, rich, savory, and a little spicy. Six bucks. After that, things start to get a little more pricey, but it's worth every penny. We also tried the ruffell's potato chips, sour cream, and caviar. I'm not even a caviar person, but I ordered it because where else am I gonna get the chance to try this combo?! It was salty and tangy and such an unexpected tastebud explosion. You can tell someone put a lot of thought into this menu. We shared an entree, the "roasted nubby farms chicken." My friend wanted this dish, so I acquiesced. I normally find chicken boring. But this dish was made with peach mostarda, mustard jus, spring onion mousseline . . . and the staff painstakingly explained each dish to us, but our senses were overwhelmed . . . but they served two different parts of the chicken and one was like this crazy almost bacon like flavor bomb and the other was this sexy, silky, moist, tantalizing wing and breast. I took more photos of my meal, but I was so excited that they were mostly blurry, so what you see is what you get, and you have to rely on my raving review. There are so many dishes I'm interested in here . . . including their BBQ mushroom, their vodka shells, the roasted cauliflower, Italian sausage. If we had been more hungry (we'd had a big day with small appetites), we would have gone for the chef's special or chef's big night out, where the kitchen chooses for you. They also had a giant steak available. The fun thing about this place is that it's kinda mysterious. The only menu you can find online are photos of menus, like mine, and it seems to change all the time. I don't know what you'd call this place aside from "fusion." Fusion of what? I have no idea. Japanese? American? Something else? NO IDEA. But it's amazing. For drinks, they have an interesting cocktail menu, but I am privileged enough that I could try their "roulette whiskey" game, where they bring a roulette wheel to the table and you might end up with a standard whiskey/bourbon or something that's usually 160 dollars a glass, like a rare Pappy Van Winkle. The game is truly random and fair and not fixed at all. And I broke even essentially, though honestly, the cheaper bourbon tasted better to me. The bartender brought it out personally, with the bottle, and explained what it was, the flavor profile, and why he made the particular cocktail he made (I requested a cocktail, you can also have it straight or on the rocks). The service is unmatched. I've been to a lot of Michelin star restaurants, and this service just . . . floored me. Every single person made it their mission to make sure this was the best dining experience I ever had. In addition to perfect dinner service, I asked where the bathroom was, in the back of the restaurant mind you, and the person led me all the way to the bathroom personally. Even though, "take a right and it's right next to the front door" would have easily done the job. These people have PRIDE in their work. The food is phenomenal. I am trying to come up with a reason to come here again soon. Like, who can I ask to go out with me? Who is adventurous? Who else can I share this fantastical place with?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!
