After clearing a spot, we were left by the associate to fend for ourselves going through mats and frames. If we hadn't been through the process before, we'd have been lost as he offered no assistance. While the price wasn't too bad, we were not comfortable with the lack of customer service and did not feel confident the framing would be well done so we left without purchasing anything. Overall the store is great... with that said, I can't say I enjoy the environment with their music selection, it is only tolerated. I also do not support the company owners limitations in providing all access to women's health care items potentially needed for their wellness. While not directly connected to the staff or store itself, knowing this makes me uncomfortable to support this franchise 100%. That being said I like the store for what it can offer, but if I was able to choose between a Michaels and a Hobby Lobby, I'm choosing Michaels because of the environment it holds over its female employees and those that it affects. The various rooms are themed, the front entry way is the cafe where one can sit and enjoy a beverage while reading. There's a side room for children to play. Around the corner is the study with a fireplace, a large table, and the selection of history, fiction, non fiction, and spiritual books. The books are reasonably priced for a used book store. I was able to pick up a selection of three books for only $18. The staff were helpful, I asked about the night market that I saw advertised in the study. The first and third Saturdays of the month features a night market of local artisans. I will definitely check that out.
