The gate to my wrought iron fence broke and I called Olson Iron Works and spoke with a guy named David. He said that he would come by and look at the gate and give me an estimate. I wasted my day by waiting for him and I finally called at the end of the day and asked why he didn't show up. He said he was busy. WHY DIDN'T HE CALL ME and tell me??? He scheduled another day after the Memorial Day weekend and still didn't come. I got on Home Advisors and guess what? The next day they sent someone and they repaired the fence. David came out to get the measurements and explain how the security screens work and are manufactured locally by Olson Iron.  I had a security screen door installed by the Olson team, and was very pleased with the quality of installation, and the street view of my house with the new door. He had me come to the shop early Saturday before hours, so he could explain what I needed to do and purchase new locking bolts. We desperately needed new side yard gates. Olson Iron came to our house the next day. They have a gate for every budget, and alot of choices! We just wanted something simple and secure as our old gate was very old and would not close anymore. We also did not have to wait the 5 weeks that our other quotes were. I was told that construction on our pool could not move forward without us having a security gate installed. This requirement was basically thrown at us without any prior notice, at the same time I was also told that most gate companies were several weeks behind because demand was so high! I made a few calls and Olson was the only company that answered the phone. It was a weekend and I didn't expect more than basic information and a general quote, however, the gentlemen who answered the phone said he would be in my area the following morning and could stop by. He arrived when he said he would, took measurements and gave me a quote on the spot, which rarely happens anymore. He also assured me that he could complete the gate within 2-3 weeks.
