Even though I have Blueshield PPO insurance and Medi-Cal, I was rejected by CVS and UCLA Pharmacies as they told me my insurance does not cover the medicine I desperately needed!! I was fortunate enough to be referred to this pharmacy by a friend of mine. When I arrived, Tom, ran my prescription through the system and got approval from Med-Cal right away. While waiting, the owner, Dr. David Yashar who had been on the phone while I was talking with Tom came over and introduced himself and told me my med will be ready shortly. Dr. Yashar is one of the most caring pharmacists you will ever meet. Even though he did not have to, he took time to show me how to administer the medicine and answered all my questions. Came in this afternoon to purchase a Choco Taco ice cream and before the cashier could ring the ice cream up another clerk told the cashier that the ice cream was on hold for someone else. I've never heard of a $2.50 ice cream being held for another customer.
