We ate here for the first time while staying in Myrtle Beach over the Fourth of July week. We just so happened to walk by the place after a long hot morning and decided to check it out. Our waitress, Patty, took very good care of us and all four of us agreed that she is the epitome of southern charm. I loved her accent and southern hospitality! The food was also fast and delicious. I will not eat at this restaurant again! The bacon was so salty it tasted like it had been soaked in sea water. (I like salty but this was ridiculous!)Their salsa tastes like spaghetti sauce which I didn't find out until after I had put it on my eggs. When I got my bill there was an extra charge... I had to speak with the Mgr about why I disagreed with the charge & how the menu looked deceiving. Anyway he just disagreed & that was that. The food is mediocre & the prices are high. We have had breakfast here several times and have never been disappointed..The apple cinnamon pancakes were really good, my husband said his biscuits and gravy were amazing. The sausage biscuits are great as well as the french toast. We haven't had anything that was bad thus far. The food came quick, actually less then 10 minutes. I ordered the Mediterranean omelet. It was plentiful but came with nothing else on the plate, looked like grub. Tasted good. My whole family ate here for breakfast! The food was good and they had turkey sausage! The prices and combo selections were reasonable. I ordered my daughter a kids meal and we received a generous portion! I had 3 eggs, turkey sausage, cheese grits, and wheat toast! My husband had pancakes, eggs, and sausage and he had no complaints. Very disappointing. I ordered a two egg breakfast with sausage patties and home fries. The eggs were fine, nothing to write home about. The potatoes were bland and mushy yuck. The sausage was edible, but if I wanted frozen jimmy dean patties I would have stayed home. Oh and the toast, never knew how to mess up toast but here's how: slightly burn it and but an entire stick of butter on each slice. Just throw a $10 bill out your window and save yourself the trouble. The only redeeming quality of this travesty was the extremely friendly waitress we had. She was fantastic. Very nice place to go to. Family loves corn beef hash and they had it there and it was a hit. I ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were not just right but I'm pickier than most. If they were to my liking I would have still been a bit displeased because the hollandaise sauce was just ok. But Mimi our waitress saved the day. She quickly replaced my eggs twice and I finally settled on 3 over medium, country ham and grits. She did not flinch and never flustered or made it seem like a chore. So I have to give this place a solid 4 stars and Mimi her own rating of 5 stars. And breakfast is served till 2!!! read more
