The wife and I stopped in for some breakfast after our morning walk on the beach. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We both has biscuit & gravy, she had a single I had 2 w/ 2 eggs scrambled. Biscuits were soft and fluffy and the gravy was yummy w/ a good cracked pepper bite to it. We shared the eggs and it was still plenty to fill both of us up. So I came here for breakfast while visiting the beach. I figured you can't really go wrong with a breakfast place... guess I was wrong. Everything started out great until the food came. The sweet tea here is horrible. It tasted like water so iasked if icould just have water which was fine since it's what iusually drink. I order the Belgian waffle which was good but I didn't care for their syrup. My cousin ordered an omelet specifically with no cheese and it came out with cheese on it. She had to wait for it to be remade. While we ate our good which I could tell she was upset by. When she does receive her food she didn't like it but we were almost done eating and she didn't want to complain. My sister told her she should ask for something off the bill for the trouble. When she did the waiter got a terrible attitude with her so she told the waiter never mind. When we received the check I didn't understand what mine was saying (it was in her handwriting) when I tried to ask her she had an attitude. Come to find out she gave me someone else's ticket. This is my family's favorite place for breakfast. It's not too pricey and you get a ton of food! We have never had a problem here. It's always busy but they get people sat rather quickly which is nice. My husband loves the iron man breakfast and I love their omelets they are packed with all your extras. Fast, friendly service. Ok, I am reviewing the omelettes based on diner restaurant standards. These are fantastic! I hate to get an omelette where all the ingredients are lunped together, hidden in the middle. My florentine omelette was green all over from the spinach and had feta, tomato and bacon in every bite. His chef omelette was full of ham, bacon, sausage, pepper and onions evenly and generously spread throughout. Our server Inna was very sweet and accomodating. At first the size of the menu put me off. I didn't see how they could pull that much off and execute it well and with speed. Anyways I proceeded to order and even made some modifications to the particular waffle I wanted. They weren't busy at the time but still yet our food came out very fast and everything was just the way we ordered and you get a lot of food for the cost so it was really a great value. I'm not a native to Myrtle Beach, but if I'm ever there again I'm hitting up The Olympic Flame. I've even told friends and family going there about the place.
