Don't buy from here. I went because I have bought several clubs from the Fullerton location and have always had a good experience. We bought a putter for my son but because he wasn't sure about it, I asked aobut the return policy. They said two weeks and it could be exchanged or returned for store credit. I asked if we could take the plastic off the head and and try it... they said as long as we kept the stickers on it was fine. The was paint chipped and came off from the putter when we took the plastic off and the face had a couple of slight dings...We even had pictures. My son took it to the course and tried it for 1 round but decided to exchange it.... We went to return/exchange the putter and they refused. They cannot blame it on a lanaguage issue since I specifically asked them about returns in Korean when we were making the purchase. Do NOT trust them. read more

TLDR: Roger Dunn Golf Shop (Golf Mega Store) is a much better alternative to this shop unless you can get a monster deal. When buying new clubs for my dad we tried this shop out since it's so close to our house. Their prices are marked at retail, but any golfer knows, like cars: clubs are not meant to be bought for retail. Immediately the retail associate knocked off 5% and threw in some balls. However, last minute, we noticed Roger Dunn was advertising for 15% off with two years of returns. Since we were already there we asked for a price match - couldn't do it. And, they don't have a two year return/trade in program. Don't be lazy like us... drive the extra 15 minutes in traffic and hit up roger dunn. read more

If you love golf, and know what you want, this is the place! Bought my first set of clubs here and have been going back for years now. Just picked up 2 TailorMade M1 drivers for Birthday Presents. Huge selection and they have many demo clubs. Prices are on par or better than eBay and Amazon, no pun intended. MUCH lower than Roger Dunn. JIMMY is super helpful but other salespeople are nice as well. If you go elsewhere, you're just wasting money. read more

First off, being Korean here is a huge advantage. I have seen non-Koreans in the store, and they were treated extremely well, but being able to converse in Korean and just look Korean definitely helps here. Olympic Golf has everything you need if you are looking to buy some golf gear, clubs, hats and other goodies for men, women and children. The prices are better than what you would find at most sports stores, and I was also given extra discounts on items that weren't on sale because of my barely passable Korean. I have given this company my business for many years. They know me. Today, ii saw a GFore golf bag in the store priced at $350. I have been in the market looking to purchase this exact one. You could imagine how excited I was to find this. To see the color and quality of the product in person and to save myself the trouble of ordering online. When I looked it up on the GFore website, I was surprised to find the same bag was on sale for $245. I showed a gentleman working the floor and asked if they would price match to which he enthusiastically replied, yes. As I was paying for the bag, the lady at the counter simply refused. Stating some silly excuse that it is a different year/make/model bag. I felt so disappointed and walked out. I't's a shame that they DON'T CARE about loyal clients and would sacrifice that relationship just to save $100+ VERY Poor customer service. read more

My brother in law suggested this place so we thought we should check it. This place has a wide variety of golfing needs and accessories. -When I say wide variety, I do not mean a Roger Dunn or Golf Smith, but Olympic Golf carries an inventory of eclectic pieces. Every time we leave, we leave with a few J.Lindeberg pieces (typically saving anywhere from 20-50%). Yes, it was disheartening to see that the exact same belt I purchased was -20% off MSRP...sigh, sigh, sigh. You've got your typical sports brands there as well as Polo, Bobby Jones, and Lacoste. There is a wide variety of golf clubs and equipment (and even a Yoda head cover). Olympic Golf has no honor. I live in Koreatown and figured I'd run over here for Pro V1s to "shop local" and quite frankly, "not drive in the rain with Angelenos." Awesome! They've discounted the Pro V1s to $38.oo.. take it up to the counter a few feet away and the lady charges me $45.oo. I tell her its priced 38, she says let me fix it,.. three salesman come over and one takes the sign out right in front of me and after a bit of Korean between them says "$45." Other guy with the balls and a wry smile says in English, that was a year-end price. I protested for a bit but what retail outlet doesn't honor their own sale signs? Its not my fault you have old signs up. I figure its a case of a too small a sale in an over saturated market, f this guy. I'd like to think its not because I'm not Korean. So, a friend called me asking for help picking out clubs. He wanted to get back into golf and ive recently been completely addicted to golf. So i happily met him at Olympic Golf and started looking through the clubs. They have a pretty good selection of typical brand name golf equipment and can also order customized clubs if you want. They also have a crappy hitting station outside if you want to demo one of the clubs. The good thing about this place is that you can usually bargain/negotiate the prices and the more you buy, the more free stuff you can request. The worker that helped us out was friendly, gave simple recommendations, wasn't too pushy, and just seemed willing to help. Although, he probably saw the dollar signs on my friends back which probably influenced his "service". My buddy ended up buying pretty much every single piece of equipment that had the titleist logo on it. AP2 irons, 913 driver, 913 hybrid, scotty cameron putter, vokey wedges, stand bag. They threw in a glove, tees, and a dozen balls all for free. Just out of curiosity, I went home and searched on tgw and ebay. Put together the same shopping cart and turns out, the price paid was very good. Definitely cheaper than either of these routes with the freebies thrown in. read more

Summary: enthusiastic service, pretty good English, and great sale prices I asked my parents for a new driver for Christmas. But since we won't be in town during Christmas, we decided to take advantage of the current sale to get an early gift for me. Wahoo! We heard about this place from my golf fiend aunt and uncle, who said the prices here were the most competitive in town. There's a private parking lot in the back. We walked to the part of the store with club sets and wandered around for a minute or two. Then, Jimmy found us and helped us right away. We told him the kind of club we were looking for, and he pulled one out immediately. Lucky for us, it was the last women's driver they had in stock that was eligible for the promotional sale. $300 discounted to $160? Yes. He also recommended a 3 wood, which my dad totally agreed with. Add to our cart a $230 club for $150. The only downside was that they had a limited stock of the clubs on sale. My husband wanted to get a club, but they were out of stock. I think the sale just started, so it's a little disappointing that they ran out so quickly, but then again, the prices were great. Will be back to check out some putters and maybe restock on gloves and balls and tees. Really really appreciated Jimmy's service. He was really helpful and knew his stuff. He wasn't pushy and encouraged us to come back next time if we want to upgrade our clubs one at a time. Huge plus that his English and Korean were both fluent. I left this same review on the Fullerton page since i am not sure if it was either store or both at the booth. They had a large set up at the Skidazzle expo this weekend in LA. Great prices and the service was awesome. I got quite a few items for less than what i found online. Some balls, cart caddie and clothing items. Not sure if it was this location or a collaborative effort from all of their stores, but was a great idea to set up at a show that was not golf related. Especially with the putting contest and demo driver area. I will definitely be shopping at their brick and mortar locations. Me not being Korean did not seem to be an issue. These other guys complaining should just make an effort to talk to them instead of just standing around to be helped. I manage a retail store and understand, but you do not know what they are in the middle of if they are not helping you, there is always two sides. read more

This place is a joke. I called this store yesterday to see how much they are selling Titliest Pro V balls. A lady who picked up phone told me it's $40. I told her I will be there shottly to purchase it. When I got there, another sales guy approached ro me, I told him I am here to buy Pro V golf balls at quoted price and he confirmed it with the lady at the counter. I looked around and picked up a couple of other things ro purchase, and went up to the counter to pay for it. One short guy who apears to be a manager was standing next to the counter telling TO THE CASHER, in a arrogant way , 'we can't sell it at $40, we don't make any mony so ring it up at $42. I told that guy that I was told for $40 and confirned it with the casher. He told CASHER, "just do it for $41", making sound as if he is doing a big favor. Both times he never looked at me nor talked to me. I told the casher, I will just get the golf balls but nit the orher items I brought to the counter to purchase. What a pitiful, rude, and arrogant guy. This busineas is so unprofessional and shady. This is not about $1or $2, but it is about very basic mannerism toward customers. I used to work for the warehouse of olympic golf. Im going to tell you guys something about their products. Theyrr in verry bad condition. The bags have mold in them they just get cleaned badly. The yamaha clubs are knock offs. When i worked for them we received some clubs AND THEY HAD A MADE IN CHINA label on the shaft. So they just told us to take it off and clean the glue off with oil. read more

If you have golf needs this is the place to come in Ktown. Koreans love golf. There are a lot of small stores that sell golf goods in Ktown, but this place has one of the larger selections. Sometimes when I purchase big tag items, I bring cash and see if I can negotiate better deals. ^^ read more

So I came here a couple of times. Maybe I don't look like a golfer, maybe I don't look Korean... who knows. The male workers are not very friendly towards me. Then again I do see them trying really hard to impress the older folk... Maybe they look like they have much more money... who knows. Regardless, I come here because it is the closest golf store to downtown and I did get my clubs regripped here. Anyways, not the best service from the men and older women that work here (rude basically) but the girls are really nice. That's what matters right? Price is pricey. The regripping was a good price though.. $2 per grip. When I checked how much my $5 grip was they were selling it for $10. read more

Been here many times over the years and I do understand some of the comments from non-Korean shoppers, however I'm as non-Korean as they come and I've never had a problem or felt intimidated. I've purchased two sets of Mizuno irons and a Miura putter (yes, the accolades about "Hands-of-God" Miura irons really are true) and have been really happy with the cash pricing and service. I bought a pair of Adiddas golfshoes from Olympic Golf. I wore them ONE TIME for a golf outing with highschool alums. At the end of eighteen holes of golf, I form a large blister on my heels that took weeks to heal! The rightside Adiddas golf shoe had a tear and hole on the inside. I took them back today and Joanna told me I might be responsible for any shipping charges if Adiddas was willing to take it back. I politely stated "Thank you" and Joanna responded "yes." My wife and I came in to get christmas gifts for my parents and my aunt. When we walked in, they would be friendly and say hi to us. As soon as we said we are returning the times for gift receipt, their expressions changed. Most Koreans don't like it when customers return the item in exchange for gift receipt. They asked us if we would like to exchange for something else and we say no, we just want gift receipt. This lady did the exchange and gave us a gift receipt. Since we bought items for my aunt and my parents, we wanted 2 separate receipt. The lady was not speaking to my wife in a good voice. She was not happy and she told my wife no, we can not make 2 gift receipt. My wife was angry and and the manager told the lady to create 2 gift receipt. She did not want to give us 2 gift receipt because she would have to make the exchange again and it felt like it was to much work for her. She did do it and gave us 2 gift receipt. When we were about to leave, my wife walked back and told the people in there that the customer service was not good and that we would not be in there again. read more

I went to this place to get some golf wear. Be warned. Unless you look like some older Korean lady or gent dressed to look like a possible big spender (decked out in all golf wear), you'll get zero help. I stood in one spot looking for someone to help me for over 20 minutes. I saw 4 workers (all of them looking like older korean women ages 40-50) running to help these older possible big spenders to their needs even when they didn't ask for help. Meanwhile, I waved my hand vigorously hoping they would help me, and all I got was a shout of "hold on" and no one came by. I walked up to one of the counters and waited there hoping to get some help on some sizes. I was basically brushed off by one of the workers who said "look over there.. around there you'll probably find it there" and just left me to go to another older customer roaming around. Thanks for nothing and I will never, NEVER, be returning here again. And I will spread the word on the AMAZING service I received during this visit. read more
