Not really friendly. One lady seems to be pulling each hair one by one making it feel like you're there for eternity. And they made my eyebrows thin plus my right eyebrow is now shorter in length than the other. read more

First time here yesterday, loved how my eyebrows came out. The advertised price on the window is also correct. Sadly, some places in Downey advertise a low price and try to get you inside then tell you it's an old sign and charge an extra $2. I will definitely be back to OM Threading. read more

PUSHY. I was going to them for a month or 2 and everything was cool. Brows were all good. Then the woman started accusing me of tweezing my eyebrows! I kept telling her, no, I haven't touched them, which I didn't. She wouldn't let up! Lady, I specifically DON'T touch my eyebrows BECAUSE I'm paying you every other week! The last time, she was noticeably angry about doing my brows and CONTINUED to badger me about tweezing in between appts. That was it! Haven't been back since. This is the only place I go to get my eyebrow done! They always know what shape I am looking for and make it a very relaxing experience. I never have to wait more that 2 min unlike other places where you have to wait 10 min just to get your eyebrows done. Visited for the first time to get an emergency lip threading. The lady helping me was aggressively moving my head back and forth to thread the two sides of my face. She was practically slapping my face side to side. She gave me the mirror to check her work and there was clearly still hair left on my lip, but I chose a half done job than put my face in her hands again. While I was taking my cash out to pay she literally ripped it out of my hands. I wasn't even done counting the money when she tore it from my hands. I don't expect a spa experience, my usual spot is simple and cheap, but at least they respect their customers. read more

The lady and I working there had small talk and it turns out she used to work for Ziba and decided to open her own business. Price was fair, just bring cash to avoid the $1 fee. Second trip the tech was very forward with reminding a tip is separate. $5 was a little disappointing to her. Oh well. Next time I'll get names.
