This review is a tough one…read more...... **********UPDATE********** The company reached out to me directly within minutes of my review which shows they truly care about their customers and I am certain that they will do everything they can to make sure not only the service but also the customer experience is a "5 Star" every time in the future. For this reason I updated my review from my 3 star to a 4 star right away. A company that truly cares and reaches out is hard to find these days. Thank you Sue, for being on the ball. I can't wait to come back and review this location again - not that I ever want to be at a tire shop (kind of the same deal as a dentist. Hahaha), but when needed it is sure nice to count on great companies to help me out. ***************** The Good: They do an amazing job at getting the job done professionally and efficiently, which is important to get big rigs back on the road! Love that about this place The Bad: The manager, AJ, is just not a happy person most of the time I get here. Not sure if he just comes across that way; however as a manager looking to keep customers a little bit of a positive attitude goes a long way! You can catch him in a good mood every once in a while but not knowing which attitude you get, feels like a gamble of how grouchy can he be... The Ugly Truth: Having read this far now explains the tough decision on how to rate this place. It's a definite 5 stars for the work, service and professionalism from the tire techs and workers. Dealing with the manager at the counter is a whole different ball game. He would get a 1 star at best 90% of the time when I have to deal with him. The downtown location is a much friendlier place to go to and just a great in their work. Sonic you have the choice I'd drive the extra few miles to go there for a smile and same price. Change your attitude= get more stars... Too many other options in town that take care of your tires with a smile!

Went to Jensen Tire in Elkhorn and they turned me away say they couldn't do anything with a lock nut. I had no clue what a lock but was. They said it was a key for the tire. Said to go to Luke's Tire. I called called Lyle's tire at about 3:15 from Elkhorn and they said to come on in (they close at 4 on Saturday's) so they can look at it. Got there at about 3:40 and Michael came right out and found the nail. He brought it back to see if they could get the lock but off. Once the car was in the back, Mike came to talk with me and explained what a lock nut was and even showed me what a "key" looks like. He was SO patient and willing to teach me why it's not a simple fix. I learned a LOT! Even though they were closing soon, he never rushed anything. Thankfully, they were able to fix the tire without damaging the black rims. Mike was worried that if I got another flat, it may be a worse situation to where I might be stranded. So, he said he would do some research to see if he could replace the remaining three lock nuts with regular black ones. It didn't even take him a week to follow-up. I will never go to another tire place! Truly professionals that know their product and care about their customers safety and budget. Mike was amazing! He took the time to explain the severity of the situation and never rushed anything, ensuring I understood what was going on with my car. Thank you!

That is just to figure out what is wrong and not part of what the repair will cost you. Now, I understand that they can't just waste their time chasing codes for free, but yes that was a little steep. I paid it because I needed my car repaired, and I really do like them. That being said, they now charge $253 to diagnose a check engine light. I just cannot afford to pay $250 simply to walk in the door before the repair pricing even begins, so I have had no choice but to take my car repair business elsewhere. They do a fantastic job, the techs are wonderful, the repairs have been good, but they have priced me out of being able to take my car to them. I do recommend them if you can afford them because they do good work. Just be prepared for the price.
