While my mother only survived a short period our round the clock care workers were all wonderful and caring people. The CEO interviewed our family at the hospital to find out what services were needed and to find out who my mother was as a person. The same CEO come to visit shortly before my mother's death which was very thoughtful. Unfortunately, in California, caregivers are not allowed to administer morphine or insert suppositories for pain control so that fell to the family members. However, our caregivers provided loving care and kept my mom safe prior to her becoming bedridden. Would also like to give a special thanks to Christy who was there the first day my mom returned to the Lodge and comforted her as she took her last breathe.
