From arriving to the restaurant to leaving, my total experience at the Omelette Cafe was subpar. The waitresses were rude and short with us. When we finally got seated for a table, nobody came to get our drinks or check on us. The food was edible but not worth the price. The omelet I ordered was just thrown together (something I could make at home) and the hash browns were nothing special. The ambiance of the diner was lacking and felt dirty. Our waitress just threw the bill down on our table when the food came without saying anything. Simple customer service was completely lacking. Good luck with the curbside pickup. The waitress actually stood at the door and watched me call 3x with the phone in her hand while I was in my car and ignored me. Everything was good-Very quick service! We had the hash brown bowl which was really good! I had a salad and parts of it were still frozen (maybe the broccoli?) As far as breakfast places go, this one is pretty busy on the weekends. We went on a Saturday morning, around 10-ish & they were packed. They do have a fairly large staff though, so service was quick. The food came out very fast...honestly, almost too fast. Most of the food was normal, eggs over easy, toast, pancakes. But the hash browns weren't fully crisp at all, the bacon was more on the burnt end of the spectrum. I'm an omelette person, so any time we go anywhere for breakfast, I have to try their omelettes, this time wasn't any different. Except their omelette left much to be desired. I had the western omelette, add mushrooms. The omelette itself was very thin, as if they forgot how to make an omelette & tried to make a crepe instead. And it took me a couple of bites to actually get to the filling, but when I finally did get to the "meat & potatoes" of it, it was soggy & looked like something that comes out of a can. There was a lot of liquid, so once it poured out, it made the whole omelette soggy. Needless to say, I didn't even get through half of it, it was making me grossed out how drenched everything was. I think I'll stick to Perkins for omelettes, honestly. It's definitely not bad for the price, and the service is friendly, perhaps I will give them another chance and order pancakes or a sandwich, but I will never order an omelette there again. read more

Worst breakfast experience I've ever had. There aren't' a lot of mistakes you can make serving breakfast, but they made all of them. Slow service, food was wrong. Took too long to get food. All food came at different times by at least 15 minutes. This caused most of the food to be cold. Couldn't get coffee refills. Corned beef hash tasted like Alpo. Waitresses avoided looking at/checking tables. And, the restaurant wasn't even crowded. Do not recommend. read more

AVOID. They have NO butter although they think they are a breakfast spot. They cook your items in trans fat, coat your toast in trans fat and then drop off trans fat synthetic to top off your pancakes. That is DISGUSTING. I come here almost every and they messed my order up. When asked for a full refund with no replacement They tell me I can't have my money back. If I could give this place zero stars I would for customer service.
