My parents and I were just driving through the area and we wanted to get breakfast before driving back to Florida. This place was an absolutely adorable place. It looks a lot bigger on the inside than the outside, and I was pleasantly surprised with how amazing everything was. I got the big breakfast with bacon, hashbrowns and eggs, my mom got the pancakes. I thought everything tasted amazing, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the pancakes were moist and fluffy. It has a small town charm to it and the service was great! read more

If you like a greasy spoon, then this is a good place for you. Staff is nice but not very efficient, the place looks cluttered and you can see the wait staff work stations which do not look to clean or kept up. There is a big nasty grits pot that sits on top of the griddle for all he world to see, makes you not want the grits! I have ordered a few different omelette's from here (triple threat and spinach). The triple threat was ok, not very well put together but tasted ok. The spinach omelet I couldn't eat, the spinach was soaked in oil or butter while it was being warmed up on the griddle, when it was served the omelet was literally surrounded in a bath of oil. They did take it off of my ticket so that was good, but I would have rather had breakfast. Problem is there aren't many places to eat breakfast around Richmond Hill Ga. It works in a pinch, I usually wait long enough to forget how my prior experience was before I go back, always hoping it's better when I walk in for another go. read more

We ordered the VG omelette with sides of grits, bacon, and biscuits. It was full of flavor! The waitresses were all extremely nice. I would definitely recommend the VG omelette to any other vegetarians, and would absolutely recommend getting the grits. read more

While staying in Pooler, GA over Labor Day Weekend, we'd spotted an Omelette House near our hotel. But on our last day, when we stopped in for breakfast before hitting the road, we found at least 20 people waiting to be seated. If we hadn't been ancy to head home, we would have waited, because a line is an excellent sign of a good restaurant! So... Knowing there was another Omelette House in Midtown, I did a Yelp search to see if there were any on our way home off of I-95...and this Omelette Cafe in Richmond Hill came up! Once we arrived, I noticed their menu included the Pooler location & another in an area I didn't recognize. Service was friendly & quick, and the prices were very reasonable. And the food was awesome! Their grits were amazing... As were their hash browns. My ham, spinach & Swiss omelette was huge & delish... My only *complaint* is that the eggs were very thin... They were scrambled, and pressed. Then wrapped around the ingredients, like a burrito. Quite different than what I expect an omelette to be, yet incredibly delicious. The coffee was good, too. The others in my group all enjoyed their breakfasts... I noticed the blueberry pancakes were ginormous. read more

The food is OK to good, good amount and a reasonable price. They tend to batch out their food like bacon and hashbrowns so sometimes it's hot and sometimes it's cold, sometimes the hashbrowns are brown sometimes pale. Service is hit and miss, I think the quick pace/table turnover is hard on the waitstaff so they might not always be their happiest. read more

Nothing fancy, just a normal breakfast. My husband ordered the hash brown deluxe with ham. It tasted like fried rice to me for some reason, which I really liked. He thought the coffee was pretty bad, just normal diner coffee like Folgers or something; barely drinkable. I got the Big Breakfast: The eggs needed serious seasoning. The pancakes were big and chewy; I like that. The grits were surprisingly good and creamy - I'm not usually a fan but I ate some of these. The worst part? They don't have real butter, just a "whipped buttery spread," which is just a fancy name for margarine. I mean REALLY people, who wants to spread thickened oil on their pancakes? read more

The food is pretty good here but for our family it's too chaotic and cramped and loud to be worth it. There's no host seating so you just wander around looking for a table, the servers are overwhelmed and hustling like crazy, and the staff just appears generally grumpy. My son is allergic to nuts and I would warn future diners to realize they make no effort or guarantees that they avoid allergen cross contamination. Our server's response after we asked what contained nuts was "the cooks day they ask that people with allergies not eat here." After looking quite shocked to be refused to a restaurant because of food allergies, she then rephrased that they can't say that anything is allergen safe, and said it was her language barrier. So for the bustling breakfast goer that wants an expensive grub but isn't a stickler for relaxing at a restaurant, this may be your place. It just wasn't us at all. read more

I've been here twice now. The first time I had the Philly cheese steak omelette, and most recently the beef omelette. Both were surprisingly tasty. My wife doesn't like this place for whatever reason, but I've been impressed each time. Hash browns are alright, not special. The biscuits are also just ok. Great environment, very open. I reside in Richmond Hill but, used to work in Pooler and would frequent their other establishment, "Omelette House", at least once a week for lunch. I was ecstatic last year, to see they were making another "home" here in Richmond Hill. The food, whether a breakfast, lunch or dinner meal, is DELICIOUS with a great helping at a fantastic price. The staff is always very courteous, accommodating and friendly. I am excited to be taking relatives visiting from CA there tomorrow, for a farewell lunch.
