a breakfast of eggs, toast and hash browns

Loved the food for a cozy Saturday morning. Better yet, the service was fast, professional, and kind.

The Omelette House is one of those local gems that's hidden within the beautiful city of Savannah, GA. After you're done exploring the tourist attractions, you should definitely come here for breakfast or lunch. My husband and I came here to try something different than Denny's and found this restaurant on Yelp! I ordered the Sausage & Cheese omelette, which consist of sausage and white cheese, grits or hash browns and your selection of toast (i.e., white, wheat, raisin, Rye and English muffin). It was so delicious!! My husband ordered the Big Breakfast, which consist of 3 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, 2 sausages, grits and 2 pancakes. He enjoyed his meal. When we first entered, the service was excellent; however, throughout our meal, our waitress didn't come to the table as often to offer us anything to drink which was a concern to my husband and I. To some people, it's considered minor, but i just thought it was a little rude though. However, it has fast service as well.

Omelette House is a small restaurant located within a shopping plaza. I found it convenient when shopping. The restaurant offers breakfast and lunch. Seating is limited making this spot great for takeout or a quick bite on the the go. Prices are fare, the service was good, food presentation was good and the restaurant is clean. I wanted to give more stars but I was not happy with the taste of the food. Especially the chicken breast.

Fairly uninviting outside, but good food.

Excited about their specialty, omelettes, I decided to give this place a shot despite the mixed reviewes. The first impression of the outsides need for a makeover continued in the inside. The service was ok and typical for a breakfast spot. The only reason for three stars is the food itself which was, given the location, fairly good tasting and worth a try if you are able to blend out the smell of fried oil and needed makeover of the location -if not, look for a different spot to have your omelette.

You like-a the Omelette? They've got lots of that. We stopped in after discovering the "Original Pankake Palace" (Yes, two k's) was no more. In the end it was a great choice. They have a huge select of Omelets, including what I had, the "Seafood Omelet" (Scallops, shrimp, krab, onions, mushrooms and melted cheese) I was very satisfied with the portions as well as the Hash-browns. They kind of get you buy making you upgrade FROM Grits to the Hash Browns, but I wasn't really feeling a "grits" thing so I took the plunge. If you are an omelet fan, stop in and check it out!

Wow, quick fast and friendly was my experience here today at The Omelette house. The food was served fast the Grits were creamy.

Omelette house is fireeeee. It's right beside our school so it's a common stop in after a nice test in the mornings to wear off the steam of studying all night and fuel up for the rest of the day. Each time I've gone in I have not been disappointed! The only thing that takes away from this store is that it doesn't look the best on the inside and it could use some face lifts, but hey that stuff doesn't bother me too much if the foods good. It's great for breakfast, brunch, or lunch! The service here has always been very prompt and friendly and they always get your food out quite speedy! Even tho they get your food out fast I promise they didn't forget to pack it full of flavor! The omelettes definitely live up to their name. If I was to recommend the best omelette in Savannah it would more than likely be this place. Every one I've gotten there has been great but my all time favorite has to be their Philly Cheesesteak Omelette. It's just what you think it would be, packed full of meat and cheese and onions and peppers and man it's got flavor in every bite! So good. Also their Philly cheesesteak sandwich is to die for too! (Yes I love Philly cheesesteaks, sorry) Whatever you're looking for, whether it be brunch or lunch, this place has got you covered!!

All the food I've had there has been excellent and underpriced in my way of thinking. They just remodeled and it does look much improved.

There was a bug in my food and she proceeded to tell me it wasn't a bug. Very rude. She did give it to me for free but she never apologized.

The online menu photos looked incredible (though I still side-eye those famous PB&J wings--maybe next time!). We chose the Treylor Park Double Wide Diner for breakfast and were thrilled we did. Pro tip: Head there early on a Sunday morning! Alcohol can't be served until after 11 a.m., so the place is surprisingly quiet and easy to get into--no crowds or long waits. We were seated right away, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. My husband went for The Chupacabra--a massive chimichanga-style breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs, sausage, onions, cheddar cheese, fresh pico de gallo, Sriracha, and chipotle crème fraîche, served with cheesy grits on the side. I ordered the Brunch Nachos, which sounded fun as an "appetizer"... big mistake (or the best kind of mistake!). It was a towering plate of waffle fries loaded with cheddar cheese, bacon, sausage gravy, fried chicken, and topped with sunny-side-up eggs. Both portions were enormous and absolutely delicious--we had to pace ourselves to make a dent in them! Everything tasted fantastic, with bold flavors and that perfect Southern comfort twist Treylor Park is known for. We're already planning to stop by again whenever we're near one of their locations--highly recommend for a fun, hearty breakfast!

Gutter ball trash…read more Insanely overpriced for the trash you are served. Tourist trap from the number of Yelp reviews. This had to have changed hands over the years. The food was absolutely worthless. Seriously, McDonald's is better than this in every way. Photos to prov The ketchup bottle? Disgusting looking. They definitely refill these "do not refill" bottles. The hash browns? Look at the photos--they exploded once a fork hit them. The kitchen was incredibly slow, which resulted in barely warm food. Check out the barely cooked bacon. To top it off? A bathroom door that won't close the first or fifth time because a screw is stripped in the wood. Stupid brown "napkins" from the janitor closet were a nice touch. Straws that barely open in the plastic they're wrapped in, again because they are so cheap. Sausage that was cooked previously, more than likely. The eggs--no complaints there. The toast? Probably leftover from a local prison. The pancakes? I wonder if they were microwaved. I wouldn't go back if someone offered me free food. DO NOT GO HERE. Look at the photos and trust me.

Open only until 2:00 PM, if you're looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch, this is the place to be. Arriving at just about noon, the place was packed, but not unpleasantly so, with customers that quickly moved through the ordering process, past the register, and to the ample seating, of their own choosing (with limited outdoor seating available; but not preferable at the time, due to the spotty showers that also choose to attend). Beverages are provided as payment is being made, leaving no thirst unquenched. Needless to say, seating is immediate. With a cup of rich, flavorful, house blend coffee in hand, my daughter, Son in Law, and I found a seat with a great view of the market activities happening outside only moments before our meals were served. The Italian Panini, chock full of succulent mildly spicy meats and lettuce, covered proportionately with dressing (yes, I was given my own bite size sample) , was my daughter's choice; a visually appealing (although not personally sampled) breakfast platter was the pick of the day for my Son in Law; and, Salmon BLT, composed of one thick, juicy piece of salmon, bursting with flavor, accented by a slice of smokey bacon atop a crisp bed of lettuce, slathered in a mild, but tasty, mustard based sauce, between two halves of a soft , flakey, croissant that more than rivaled the size of an average hamburger bun, was my choice. It did not disappoint. At just under $45.00, before tip, all of this seemed like a bargain. If there could be a downside to this experience, and I would say there couldn't be, it would be that, when visiting Savanah, choosing the place to eat jus became a bit more difficult, with Goose Feathers now in contention.
