Quick and fast food which is always good! Service is good as well. Ambiance feels like an old style diner.

Stopped in on a weekday morning, only folks in the place. I haven't been here since ownership changed, so I was curious to see how things went. The waitress was nice. When the food arrived, my dish wasn't hot, more tepid, and the over easy eggs arrived scrambled. A film had formed over the sauce. We thought perhaps the server didn't hear correctly, but the check said over easy. Okay, so the cook made a mistake, it happens. But there were two opportunities to catch the oversight, they weren't busy and well, there you have it. We didn't reorder, as we'd been there for awhile already. Went to Omelette Express in Windsor today. Sorry to say it was not good and had bad indigestion for hours. Staff was nice but slow, however once we ordered, food came out fast. Had chicken fried steak, it was two thin patties of meat, maybe breaded but hard, only top patty had gravy on top. NO hashbrowns, only over cooked tasteless potatoes. Slice of french bread toast was the best part. Really wanted to like this place but nope, not going back and can't recommend. Believe owners are same as Omelette Express in Santa Rosa so not sure I will try that restaurant. read more

Great service! I loved my omelette 16# added mushrooms. Their kids menu is great including French toast (pictured) and other options. They're steps from the Windsor Town Green which has a fantastic playground. Highly recommend stopping by for their brunch. read more

It had been a while since our last visit to this location. Learned it was under new ownership, so decided to check it out. Very impressed by the service, thanks Jasmine, and was surprised to find the omelettes were better than remembered. Fantastic omelette, stuffed with ingredients, and cooked to perfection. A very small note on the front page of the menu stating, 5 or more adds 20%, is hardly a visible location of a significant upcharge of this sort. Service was not great, luke warm potatoes maybe a tablespoon of meat in my omelette, with a 45 minute wait for our breakfast, the server stated that a new computer system was the reason for the delay as the chefs were having trouble reading the tags, and then she denied making that comment to us. $40 per person for breakfast. Good service and good breakfast! It is a very cute diner with wooden tables and old cars on the walls. Our waitress greeted us when we came in and was very attentive. It was not busy on a late Monday morning. had the #1 omelette but subbed sausage instead of bacon. It was huge and delicious. It came with a big piece of toasted sour dough bread and breakfast potatoes. I was able to split my omelette and eat the other half the next day. I order from this place regularly for pick up. Today the order I placed was shorted and when I called back the girl tried to tell me what I ordered. I ordered two of the same items one for me and one for my wife. She would not agree that she messed up and did NOT even try to rectify the situation. My husband and I have been going here for breakfast once a week for the last several months. When we entered on Saturday, 1/10/2026, as usual we were told to sit anywhere after we were seated for about 10 minutes and ready to order a server approached and said in the future, we can't sit at this table and have to sit somewhere else. Her approach and demeanor were rude and condescending. The restaurant was not busy and had ample seating. Needless to say, this ruined the mood and we decided to leave. As we walked out the door, the same server gave us the thumbs up and said she was glad we were leaving. We are quite perplexed as to why this server would be so rude based on this experience, we will no longer patronize this restaurant and will no longer recommend to our friends and family. Delicious and cute place to have breakfast! They bring out the food fairly quickly and everything tastes just as good as it looks! My girls had the French toast with bacon and I had the omelette with avocado, cheese bacon and tomatoes. As you can see by the picture you get a good amount of food, and it's pretty affordable. I read the other reviews, specifically the one bashing the french toast, AFTER I ordered... french toast. Oops! Well, the french toast really was lame. The eggs were fine and the bacon was perfectly cooked, but for the price the french toast should have been great, not bleh. My boyfriend had biscuits and gravy and eggs and he liked it. Perhaps I will try that in the future, because I'm definitely not going to go for that french toast again. I have dined here a few times recently and each time I was greeted by a friendly young lady named Abbi who seems to work there every time I go in. The food is always fantastic! The omelettes are really good and the the burger is awesome!! I do wish they served fries but their home made salad dressing on fresh greens is probably a better choice. I felt invisible! Went for breakfast this morning to a half full restaurant and got up and left after being totally ignored for 15 minutes.
