The menu is extensive so take your time to find what you want. The interior is small so they have the wall up to expand into the patio. Decided to try these burgers and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted right away. Nice chill spot. We came on Thursday night when they were about to close but there were still people enjoying their meal. We decided to order ours to go. I got the an Avo Jack burger and hubby got the double hamburger. We decided to do the 50/50 fries to share and we did the curly fries and sweet potato fries. The burgers were excellent! Fries were good also but sweet potato fries were a little soggy. We even got our pup a snoopy patty which he enjoyed very much while we were eating our burgers. We also added some shakes. I got the banana with vanilla ice cream. It's made from real milk. Hubby got the half chocolate and half vanilla. They tasted ok. Not too sweet. I think we found our burger joint! read more

I've been to this location twice and both times were good. Friendly staff, clean and got our food pretty fast. Both times I went I wasnt feeling a burger so I got chicken strips on my first visit and the second time I got the Western Bacon tri tip sandwich. Full of tri tip, bbq and onion rings.. . Ordered some breakfast burritos. Tortilla was hardly grilled, I was disappointed by lack of flavor in egg and the salsa. The salsa at other location was awesome even if the "hot" one wasn't spicy at all. My burger seemed to have just been thrown together and my fries were stale and cold. I ate it all but my buddy who's a little more picky was super upset and ended up going to in n out to get food that was actually fresh and warm. I recently had the chance to meet one of the owners, Dusty, and he's such a genuine, down-to-earth guy. You can tell he really cares about creating an affordable, welcoming place for everyone to enjoy great food. The burgers are absolutely delicious -- you can taste the difference right away because the beef is never frozen, which is something that really matters to me and my brother since we both work in the restaurant industry. Everything you want from fast food burger. Reminds of the old school burger stands I used to go to when I was a kid, the non-corporate ones. Tasty patties, tasty toppings and tasty sides. I ordered the bbq bacon burger and would definitely order it again. The onion rings and french fries are also pretty clutch so don't sleep on those either. Can't speak for the service since we ordered take out but I likely wouldn't care since the food is good on it's own. read more

I recommend this place for a fast and inexpensive good burger option. The quality, customer service, and location are all ideal for a quick lunch or one on the go. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with all the regular toppings, and wish I had requested extra mustard/mayo/ketchup, or a different sauce on the side because it was a little dry. I appreciated the care with which it was assembled. The bacon was a bit chewy in places and the burger was decent. For $13, I would order this any day I am on-the-go and just craving a moderately priced burger. I just will ask for extra sauce because I'm a sauce girl! read more

Just FYI, this not a bashing but some great feedback. We stopped into Machado Burgers in Windsor for breakfast, and it was a mixed bag. I ordered the egg, sausage, and potato burrito, which had zero flavor and was super dry. The burrito was wrapped tight, and honestly, you basically need to unwrap it, add the salsa, and then wrap it back up to make it edible. The salsa was just okay--not great--but at least it added some moisture. My wife had the chorizo burrito, and that was actually great. The girl who took our order was also cooking our breakfast, which probably explains why it felt so rushed and underwhelming. Later, we tried their burgers. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss and my wife had the BBQ Bacon. Both burgers were cold and completely unseasoned--their temperature matched the lettuce more than anything else. The beef patties were also smaller than the ones in Santa Rosa. The 50/50 fries and onion rings were also cold and overcooked, with the onion rings looking and tasting burnt. It really wasn't worth the $43 we spent for such underwhelming food. The service wasn't much better. The servers kept bumping into each other and going in and out of the wrong doors, which made things feel disorganized and a little chaotic. Inside, there were so many people standing while others were sitting at tables, which made the space feel cramped. They also need patio heaters so customers can sit outside comfortably when it's cold. Overall, the Windsor location needs some work with the execution of both food and service. Being a busier location, they clearly need more support. For now, we'll put Windsor on hold and continue visiting the Santa Rosa location until they work out the kinks. read more

I'm not sure what magic voodoo they do with tater tots but we got plain tots and they were AMAZING. I am a vegetarian so I had the veggie burger with avocado SO GOOD, and so nice that all burgers can be done with the garden patty. Great options for outdoor seating for large groups. And nice for large parties that want to pay separately but have a nice meal together- This is clearly a Local family-owned small business deciding to keep prices low for the benefit of the community they serve. We ordered the breakfast burritos. One with Chorizo and one with mushrooms and onions. The price point is quite affordable at 7.99 per burrito. The only criticism I have was that there were too many onions and that it should have been diced vs. sliced. Service was great and the restaurant was nice and clean. Machado Burgers is great. There are a lot of food options. You could get the same burger styles but in veggie, grilled chicken, & crispy chicken patty. We waited a while but we understood there was a little league team there and they handled the workload very well!! Shakes and sides are offered of course. I had sweet potato fries. The online menu shows a 25 cent charge for some sauces, although when we got there they just gave them to us were not charged for them & were given them upon pick up. The staff was very pleasant and nice even under duress, it was very busy when we were there, as previously stated which is a testament to good work ethic. We ate outside and was very comfortable. We will be back maybe at there new location that will open near Olivers Market soon, (yes they are keeping the old one open). read more
