I wanted to wait a bit before posting my review so I could get a feel for how long they would last and if there would be any discomfort or issues. Happy to say that a week and a half later I'm still just as satisfied as when I first left the appointment! I've never gotten lashes before so it was a bit hard for me to explain what I wanted but I did my best and Michelle somehow understood exactly what I needed! I asked for a natural look, noticeable but not too intense. I also noted that my eyes are naturally very droopy so I wanted something that would help open my eyes up. She suggested we did a "classic, dolly look" and I'm so glad we did! I love the lashes. The appointment itself took about 45-60 minutes including consultation and paperwork. She is currently taking clients at home in her office but it was not awkward or uncomfortable at all. She gave me very clear rules and care instructions which I have done my best to follow. She also let me know that I have a lot of baby lashes so they might not hold on to the extension as well and might notice fall out (which I have) but even with that fall out my lashes still look super full. Will definitely be returning! Thank you Michelle!

Found Michelle and couldn't be happier! I was a newbie for lash extensions. Honestly I researched a bunch and looked at photos of others for months! Yeah I was nervous. But hers stuck out to me maybe because her work was what I was looking for as a first timer. I wanted wispy natural long lashes and not so dramatic. I tried and was ecstatic how natural the look but gave my eyes some of the POP it needed. and comfortable the lashes felt not heavy or painful like some of my friends have experienced. She taught me how to take care of it snd avoid products that will make them fall out easier. Also lasted 3 weeks for my first visit. after all this covid and mask wearing, the eyes are what we see first! Michelle is THE person to have in your life. She is an eyelash master and not only provides good service but good conversation. I've never had eyelash extensions in my life and I was looking for someone to help me out. I came across Michelle on Yelp and took a leap, luckily I found her. I was in search of a new lash artist and came across Michele's account. This is my second time going to her and I am in love with her work! She listens and works with any ideas you might have. The one thing I really appreciate is that she DOES NOT apply extensions to baby lashes (Something my last tech did, that ended up ruining my natural lashes"! Her honesty makes her that much better at what she does. She doesn't rush through her appointments, which usually run about an hour and a half. The appointments may seem long but it just shows how much she puts into her work. She is very sweet and makes for great conversation. Her appointments are never dull!

I have been coming to Michelle for months now and every appointment is just as good as the first! She is very welcoming and professional, explains the process and aftercare thoroughly. My lashes last about 3-4 weeks. Love my lash girl Michelle! She never rushes through our lash appointments even fills and takes her time in thorough work. Always has a gentle, feather light hand so i never feel any discomfort during fills. On top of that i never experience any irritation from the glue after my fills. I have naturally thin, sparse lashes and have gone to lash girls in the past who stacked and over-applied glue on my natural lashes but Michelle is able to give me voluminous wispy lashes without the weight. Michelle is absolutely amazing!! I always leave super satisfied with my lashes. She makes you feel very comfortable and explains the steps as she goes so you know what's going on. She is so gentle and meticulous with her work - truly great work!! I have been going to Michelle for eyelash extensions for a couple of years now! She does an absolutely impeccable job and I am fully satisfied every time I go. I have been to many places around town and I have not been impressed. Michelle takes the time to do the job right, and she makes sure you are comfortable and always happy with the outcome! She does all different kinds of lashes with different lengths and the number of lashes used. Michelle goes the extra mile to do my lashes because I'm extremely picky and hard to please . The last time I had my lashes done was for a wedding in July and my lashes stayed on for over 2 months! My lashes looked very natural with a pop of wow and I was extremely pleased. They felt like they were my very own and I received so many compliments. She does early appointments and she really takes her time! Michelle honestly is heaven sent. I have been doing my lashes for almost like 4, 5 years, & Michelle's work is by far the best I've ever seen. I have driven to Los Angeles, Pasadena, you name it, I've gone, and tried all the different lash technicians and lash materials there are out there, and Michelle is the best. Not only is she extremely talented at what she does, but she's also super easy to talk to; makes the hour literally fly by! I've been going to her consistently for about a year now, and I haven't thought about going anywhere else since then, she's awesome! 10/10 would recommend. They honestly resembled a drugstore strip lash rather than a customized volume set. I called the salon and was told they could fix them. Unfortunately, the same technician ( ivy) worked on me again. She appeared defensive and, at one point, spoke to a colleague in another language during the appointment. While I want to assume she was asking for help, the lack of transparency made me uncomfortable and unsure of what was being said. After the "fix," the lashes looked even worse -- very heavy and spiky, giving a tarantula-like appearance. When I expressed concern, I was told this was the "doll look," and that the reference photo I showed (from the company's own website) was different because it was a cat-eye shape and the model had different eyes. This was confusing, as I've had similar styles done successfully by other lash technicians in the past. Overall, it was disappointing to see lash styles advertised that the technician didn't seem comfortable or experienced executing, and even more disappointing that this wasn't acknowledged. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

My second experience here is where it all went downhill. I got a dermaplane facial and requested a…read moredermabrasion as well. The technician informed me that the dermabrasion would be too much exfoliation since the derma plane is exfoliating as well. However, she still recommended doing a chemical peel and because I'm not that educated in skin treatments I proceeded with her recommendation. About a week later after my facial, I I noticed 2 burn marks on my face, which I assumed were from the chemical peel. While one healed, one has still not gone away, and this is a facial I received late in December 2025. I went back a month later and asked the technician(different one) what the mark was. She said it was like acne post mark because of too much exfoliation with both the dermaplane and chemical peel . She said it should fade away and recommended me one of their expensive skin resurfacing products. I did not buy it and this was my last visit here. 3 months later, I still have this mark on my face so I have an appointment with the dermatologist soon. I would still recommend this place for maybe the basic $70 facial, it's pretty cheap and worth the money. I do not recommend any other special services because it seems some of the technicians may not be as educated and it's not worth messing up your skin.

A few months ago, I injured my hands and thought my natural nails were beyond saving. Tyn suggested switching to builder gel and simply told me, "Trust the process." I'm so glad I listened. Three months later, my natural nails are healthier and stronger than they've ever been. I used to be one of those "every two weeks" girls, but he always laughs and tells me, "Come on, I love you, but two weeks is too soon!" That's just how well his work holds up. The salon itself is always spotless, welcoming, and relaxing. One thing I really appreciate is their transparency--they provide an itemized receipt and let you know the total cost before starting your service, so there are no surprises. The salon itself is beautiful, spacious, and surprisingly quiet, which makes the whole experience feel relaxing from the moment you walk in. The decor is absolutely adorable with pink accents, floral touches, and a chic, feminine aesthetic that makes it feel a little more luxurious than your average nail salon. They have five separate pedicure rooms, a huge selection of colors, and complimentary drinks while you enjoy your service. I always look forward to the mimosas and hot tea. What really stood out to me was how involved the management team is. I saw managers regularly walking around checking on guests and making sure everyone was happy with their service. I also noticed the staff thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing the pedicure stations after every customer, which I really appreciated. It's clear they take both customer service and cleanliness seriously. While Milano is definitely on the pricier side, the quality, cleanliness, atmosphere, and customer service make it worth every penny. They even have a rewards program where you can earn points toward future visits. Their nail artists are incredibly skilled and can create everything from simple sets to the latest trendy nail art. The first time I came after getting my nails done the nail tech mentioned how I can come in 1-2 weeks to get a refill on my nails. When I came the second time for the refill the person stated that I could not do a refill and that instead I needed to do a completely new set. I am upset that the nail tech lied to me. Never coming to this place again I do not like when the nail tech told me one thing and then charged differently. It is a very predatory tactic. Highly disappointed with my experience. Also for me they put something on my feet and it burned. One of my toes was left with a burn mark. The nail tech also didn't really understand English so it took her awhile to take off the product so I had to dip my foot inside so I wouldn't burn the rest of my toes.
