YUM. Came here last night as a group of 6 and it did not disappoint. Easy menu with fixed sets available for groups - naturally, we got the Barbarian Feast to take out the guesswork. The Barbarian Feast comes with: - Pork: Belly, Collar, Jowl - Beef: Picanha, Ribeye, Flatiron, and Marinated Bone-In Short Rib - Raw appetizer: We chose the Yukhoe - Green Onion Salad - Corn Cheese - Hot Stone Kimchi Fried Rice - Soybean Stew - Dessert (Melona) - Assortment of banchan The Yukhoe was so good, served with a chips and Asian pear. Tasted just like the one I had in Korea. The other sides were also delicious and flavourful. For the grill, the server recommended to start with the pork, then the beef, and end with the marinated short rib. I agree with this recommendation. The pork was so juicy and had a good mouth feel, but the star of the show was the beef for sure. The ribeye and picanha were had a bit of tendon but nothing we couldn't handle - still grilled to be super soft. The Marinated Bone-in Short Rib was the best one in a delicious galbi sauce; it was super tender and juicy. You can really taste the quality of the meat at this restaurant! The service was good but the restaurant is a bit dark inside so it is sometimes difficult to grab their attention. There is also a parking lot on site and they can validate your ticket for you. Overall a very good experience and I would come back!!

Summary: great food, good service and amazing atmosphere. Came here on 2 separate occasions to celebrate something. And last night my wife and I are free of the kid boss! So we decided to come and feast on some yummy grilled meat. Got here for our reservation and glad we did. Cause shortly after there were loads of people walking in. We ordered the pork feast combo and in my opinion, the pork tastes better. Honestly the food is tasty and the dry aging of the pork makes it better. Great service and there's the KPop playing in the background to add to the atmosphere. Looking forward to come again.

If you're looking to do KBBQ and are looking for great quality meat, then you need to go to Omiwol. They have a large selection available, and make it easy to decide if you're new or unsure of what your group wants with their Butcher Feast options. There's a curated selection of beef and pork cuts that come with sides, refillable banchan and dessert. We went with the Mini Omiwol (good for 2 hungry persons) and added a few extra items, including the Chives Pancake and Heritage Pork Collar. Our picks were great for a group of four. If you have a big appetite, you might benefit from looking at their other Feast options for 4. Staff came to check on us regularly, refilling our tea and banchan whenever they noticed we could use a top up. Definitely recommend checking it out! Also, there's a promotion running until 10 Feb 2026 where you can get a free item if your spend is a certain amount.

I came with a group of 7 friends, and we got the set. Unfortunately their sets only go up to 6 people (Barbarian Feast); so we added another portion of meat. My favourites were the pork jowl, Denver steak, and beef galbi. Our set came with one raw appetizer and we opted for the Yukhoe. It was pretty tasty and well seasoned. The soup that came with the set was overly salty and not the best. Kimchi fried rice was ok. Service was attentive and they refilled out sides and water.

Came here for the Chuseok Feast (for 4 people) before the deal ends; last day is Oct 13, 2025! The feast was delicious, and it was VERY filling. I loved the Dolsot Fried Rice w/ kimchi, seaweed, pork, and cheese. It came in a hot stone bowl and assembled tableside. Definitely go for the Jinro makgeolli. The Walmae makgeolli was more carbonated, and they ran out of the Kooksoondang makgeolli. The banchan was unlimited, and the meat was amazing because we had a chef friend who was cooking for us :p Staff were friendly and made sure we got everything that we needed. Overall, I had a good experience; I will definitely come back for the noodles one day! ** Free street parking after 6pm. Restaurant can vouch for 2-hour parking; rmb to get blue parking voucher before your leave!

Their meats go through a triple-aging process (wet, ice, and dry aging) so every bite comes out quite tender, and juicy. The banchan added that balance I always look forward to, nothing over the top but fresh and reliable. The service was smooth and attentive. Overall, it's a decent KBBQ spot. Price is definitely on the higher side, but it's still worth a try if you want something a bit more elevated.

The meat here is the highest quality of any KBBQ in the city. The price is higher than most, but it is well worth it. The restaurant has really high quality fans as well, as you won't leave smelling like smoke or BBQ. Service here is top notch also, they often check in to ensure that you have everything you need. Would recommend coming here for any celebrations, or just a great meal. Parking is also validated! Don't forget to ask.

Omiwol Feast - Assortment of pork, beef, kimchi fried rice and a soup (1)

Came on a Friday for dinner as a party of four. Omiwol seems to focus on dry-aged meats for grilling. Ordered the Omiwol Feast (a set bbq meal for 4 people), and a cold noodle. Service was very friendly and welcoming. There was a suggested order of grilling, which we followed. The meats seemed deep in meat flavour - my favourites were the pork jowl and marinated galbi. There was a nice assortment of side dishes and accompaniments for the BBQ. The picked perilla leaves were especially nice. The soup that comes with the meal was maybe a little too salty. The fried rice was a little dry. The cold noodles were nice and refreshing. Overall we had a great experience. Very tasty food. Price is a little on the high side, but would probably return for nicer occassions.

Whole squid (part of Ocean Feast), corn cheese, and banchan dishes

Omiwol specializes in both Korean BBQ and Korean noodle soups in a more classy setting. The noodle soups here are really good! Korean BBQ is usually heavy on the meat, but this place has a Seafood Feast option that consists of just seafood, without any meat. The place is more upscale than most other Korean BBQ places, with really nice interior decor and very chill & calming music. It made the ambiance feel very relaxing. We ordered the Ocean Feast which came as a set of raw jumbo shrimps / prawns, a whole squid, and a whole mackerel fish that you cook yourself. On top of that, the set also came with 4 pieces of raw abalone, green onion salad (very spicy!), corn cheese, choice of jjamppong (spicy seafood soup with noodles) or white jjamppong (non-spicy version of the seafood soup with noodles), and choice of Melona flavour for dessert (options: melon, mango, coconut, ube). We also got a complimentary appetizer, and we chose raw marinated crab which turned out to be really good with sesame seasoning. My favourites were the raw marinated crab and abalone because they were more unique (not many places offer the raw version of these, even in sushi / sashimi restaurants). They were marinated and seasoned very well. The raw crab came in the shell, and the raw abalone came already pre-cut on the shell, making it very easy to eat. Everything that came in the Ocean Feast set was enough to feed 3-4 people, even though it was advertised as for 2 people on the menu. The noodle soup itself was quite big and contained a lot of seafood (shrimps, mussels, squid / calamari, octopus) and vegetables (zucchini, Napa cabbage, carrot, onion). The noodles used were udon noodles which were thick and chewy, which I loved. The waitress helped to adjust the temperature of our grill, changed the grill halfway through, and provided pointers on how to spread and cook the whole squid, shrimps, and mackerel fish properly. They were more hands-on in the cooking process than in most other typical, more casual Korean BBQ restaurants, which we appreciated. In addition to the Ocean Feast, we ordered extra vegetables as add-ons: Garlic Asparagus, Garlic Zucchini, and Mushrooms Set (4 different kinds of mushrooms). The garlic-flavoured vegetables and enoki mushrooms came wrapped in tin foil, which we just dropped onto the grill to cook. They were all really good and the garlic flavour really came out, with actual pieces of garlic. Big portion of the Mushrooms Set too. The Korean BBQ set also came with a basket of broad-leafed lettuce which you can wrap your grilled items in. The lettuce was refillable, so you can ask for extras if you run out. On top of everything that came with the set, we also got banchan dishes: mashed squash (really good!), kimchi, pickled radish, and spicy pickled cucumber. There is very limited street parking right in front of the restaurant, but there is a private parking garage in the building complex (shared with other restaurants / businesses in that complex). You can get free validated parking if you ask the server to give you a green parking slip after your meal. You then insert the green parking slip into the machine, followed by the white parking slip, which renders your parking free as a business patron.

Meat quality is significantly better than the competition. I didn't know flat iron could taste so good. Price is more expensive than Japanese bbq all you can eat. Mini omiwol is 110 before tax. You get 4 different kind of meat, 120 g each. I was full, but i had to eat all the side dishes to get there. Probably will go back for special occasion only.

Omiwol is a new upscale Korean BBQ restaurant focused on a premium selection of dry-aged, wet-aged, and ice-aged meats. The interior of the restaurant is very spacious, with tables that are spaced widely apart, offering guests lots of space and great ventilation. The decor is minimalist modern and clean. Service was very friendly and attentive, helping explain the uniqueness of the meats as well as cooking time (slightly less than regular KBBQ meats). You can park in the paid lot upstairs, let them know and you'll get a coupon for free validated parking for the first 4 hours. We got the butcher's feast pork set for $88, which included pork belly, pork jowl, and pork collar along with a number of other items, including salad, kimchi fried rice, and Melona. It's stated on the menu that feeds two, realistically you could feed three people with it. It was a nice experience, the meat was clearly very high-quality, and tasted tender as we ensured not to overcook it (approx 2 mins cooking time). However, with a premium experience, comes with a premium price tag, and at least to me, I couldn't taste that much difference of the aging process. Perhaps next time I'll come to try the beef. Portions for other items, including the kimchi fried rice, were also pretty small given the price. I guess you're also paying for the elevated ambiance and service, and not smelling like smoke after. Definitely recommend checking it out if you want a unique KBBQ experience.

Came here on Thursday night with my boyfriend. I saw lots of reviews so I really wanted to try it out. We ordered the winter feast combo for 2 people and I thought there was more than enough food for 2. We were really full by mid. The meats were really good , tasty and not chewy. The kimchi rice and tofu soup was tasty. I really liked the raw marinated crab as well. Really tasty!! I will definitely be back!

5/5. Came here on a Monday lunch with my girl. Not packed and very easy to get seating. Comfy private booths, with well ventilated seating areas, high ceilings and comfy! The windows of the resto make the place so bright and welcoming :) Parking - there's validated parking in the parking garage that they give you after your meal. Even if you want to pull up with the Green P, it's cheap. Steps from the restaurants entrance. Food- ordered the winter feast for 2 (approx $105). The set included Belly Collar, Flatiron & Denver. Choice of beef tartare, crab or shrimp. Opted for the beef tartare. The sides came with green onion salad, jangajji, corn cheese, rice & Melona. Cuts of meat were phenomenal. Enjoyed every moment of it. Fresh, flavourful, juicy. Side dishes were splendid, packed with flavour and you never got bored of any flavours because there's so many!! Service was attentive. Offered tea or water and filled it upon request. Polite and was able to explain any menu questions. Overall highly recommended. Would definitely come back!!!!!

The restaurant is located inside the Empress Walk Mall and they do offer free parking for 2 hours so make sure you validate your parking ticket before leaving. The inside of the restaurant was modernly decorated and seating was very spacious and comfortable. The washrooms were really clean as well and service was exceptional. The waiter came and took away empty plates, replenished water and replaced our grill plates in a timely manner. We ordered 2 Combo A's and 1 Combo B which was $15.99 and $19.99 respectively. Each combo comes with 1 appetizer, seasonal veggies, salad, rice, kimchi, lettuce, miso soup, dessert and the different types of meats that comes with each combo. Everything tasted quite delicious and honestly this was a ton of food for the price. They might've made a mistake and gave us 2 portions of their beef since we ordered 2 Chicken Combo's and 1 Beef combo but we somehow ended up with more beef than chicken. If I do had to nitpick, I would say that the pork belly and their beef slices were really thin but at this price, that is to be expected. Unfortunately for dessert, they didn't have soft serve so I opted for their creme brulee which was so soft, creamy and delicious. I just wished it was a bit bigger. I tried my coworker's mango sago and it was creamy with just the right level of sweetness and wasn't too tart. I would highly recommend this place for their lunch combos but it's only available between 12pm-4pm on weekdays. These combos are great options for people that don't necessarily want to do their AYCE menu but still want some Japanese BBQ. I'll definitely come back and maybe try their lunch or dinner AYCE.
