They call me and say that someone could be there probably after another hour. I went ahead and told the guy that I didn't want them coming that late so that I would take an appointment the next morning if it was available. When he said that 9 AM the next morning was available. I said that was perfect, and to just let me know ahead of time when they're coming. 9 AM passes and no one shows up no one ever called or showed after that. I call around 915 to say that no one showed up, and THE SAME man said they would be here at 4 PM. I said OK, and no one ever called or showed up. Do not recommend them whatsoever. Very very bad customer service.

The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. A few days later, the part arrived and they called to schedule the repair appointment, which again they had availbility the next day. He came early and called first to make sure that was ok, was at my house for an hour and everything now works!

Nothing out of the ordinary, just standard plumbing work. The technician Suman who came out was genuinely great. Professional, courteous, and clearly knew what he was doing. No complaints there whatsoever. The problem? The quote came in at $1,300. For those repairs. I nearly fell off my toilet (the one that still needed fixing). That pricing is simply impossible to justify for the scope of work involved, and I couldn't in good conscience move forward with it. It's a shame, because the service experience up to that point was solid. But when your pricing is this far out of line with reality, it makes it hard to recommend or return. Do yourself a favor and get a few quotes before committing to Roto-Rooter.

I don't write salacious or slanderous reviews on here. I'm not an angry, misunderstood, conflicted teenager with a score to settle. I'm 56 years old, and I try to write clearly and objectively. On Monday April 15 two plumbers from GOBP showed up on time to repair the main water line next to our meter. When they arrived they estimated $900-1100 for the repair, which seemed high but, as they stated, this was an estimate which, I assumed, could go up or down if the job requires more or less time or materials. The two plumbers started to work immediately. One plumber dug out a 1x2x1' section of soil, then the other installed a couple feet of blue PEX hose and a shutoff valve. The first plumber replaced the soil and sod and the job was finished in one hour. So, two plumbers, together working one hour, with about $50 in parts. For that they charged $960. They lowered the price to $900, after l pointed out it was a one hour repair. I noted out that each plumber was charging me more than $400 an hour for their labor, which is more than doctors, engineers, lawyers and other professionals make. They replied, "we charge by the job, not by the hour." But the quote for the job was just that--a quote, an estimate! They wouldn't budge. I paid, wrote a review here that night and thought I was done with them. Four days later, on Friday evening, I got a call from "Chris" who wanted to discuss my review. Chris tried to convince me that they were fair, that I got a good deal, but that inflation has just been "really hard" on everyone. I disagreed. The plumbers showed up, priced the job high and showed little flexibility to adjust the price when the work was less than estimated. If they need to estimate high to cover their tails, fine, but don't use as an excuse to gouge me. Chris then tried to say it was my fault that they overcharged, because I didn't ask them up front how long it would take, or try to negotiate a lower price. Then he explained that his company loses money on other jobs...and I inferred from this that he is somehow justified in overcharging other customers like me, because he has to make up that money someplace. I agreed to modify my original review, to state that the plumbers did give me an estimate at the start of work (according to Chris I should have included that in my review, and that I didn't try to negotiate the estimate before they started work. Think about how ridiculous that sounds: "give me a lower estimate, please.". The morning after we spoke, I looked for my review on here to make the changes I promised, and it was gone.

The plumber ruined the connection on the washing machine and instead of telling us that the connection was stripped and ruined? He "rigged" the washing machine connection and then left without telling us that the connection wasn't right. When we ran our first load of laundry, the "rigged" connection failed and water went everywhere over 3 floors of our home. There was floor damage, carpet damage, ceilings ruined, light fixtures ruined, etc. The Pete's Plumbing rep KNEW that he hadn't properly connected our washing machine....and LEFT ANYWAY. The magnitude of his negligence and irresponsibility is hard to comprehend. What did Pete's Plumbing do to help the situation? Absolutely nothing. The owner told me that we should have checked the connection ourselves! That it was our fault...imagine hiring a plumber to do a simple job and then being told that we should have gone over the plumber's work after he left. If Pete's Plumbing was the last plumbing company on Earth, I'd still not allow them into my home again. They ruined 3 floors of our new home and then took ZERO responsibility for their actions. They told us to take it up with their insurance company. They also ruined our washing machine, which is a small thing compared to what they did to our home! This was the worst experience I've had with any services company. If I could give them ZERO stars I would....

We recently had an unwanted and unnecessary experience with this plumbing company. Our neighbor…read morenext door had severe plumbing problems while they were out of town. Seeing this, we got Fulton County Water to turn off their water until the neighbor returned home. Pete's Plumbing was contacted and came out to repair the system. A Pete's employee came to our house and offered to fix our irrigation system (water was turned off for at least eight years) for $850-1000. We declined but soon learned the water had been turned on and was leaking into the street. I contacted them again, and they denied this and offered to fix our leak for $850-1000. I told them that was unacceptable, and he explained it would take them three hours to shut it off, and he would give us a break at $650. Again, I told him no. I sent him photos of the meter and asked him again to return and fix what he had broken. He called back and told me I was not telling the truth but reduced the amount to $197.00 to spend 15 minutes turning off a meter he had opened. He could schedule me for the next day. Unbelievable, I called another company, which immediately fixed the meter without charge. They were given a significant contract because we needed other non-plumbing work done. Lesson learned on my part: never let Pete near our property again and, for Pete, treat your clients better, or you will continue to lose other contracts. BTW, Pete's Plumbing shares a phone number with a Wedding Planning service!
