This company really helped out in a bind - I needed a car with a toddler car seat plus pickup inside baggage claim, and I was giving only an hour's notice. I called several other services who could not help so quickly, but On Demand had no trouble with the request. The driver was early and gave updates via text, so the service was excellent! I can't say enough good things about ODCS. As an exec assistant at UCLA, I find myself in need of quick transportation for VIP guests as well as my own faculty and my supervisor. Just had to write to express how terrific Toufik and his team are. I've used their service many times over the past year or so -- ever since I lost faith in Uber or Lyft for airport runs. As others have mentioned, I can always count on Toufik or one of his excellent drivers to arrive on time (early, in fact) and get me safely to the airport. But there's more. He's genuinely a caring human being. I booked him for a 4 am pick up (!) but had to reschedule twice because of illness. I was able to give him 24 hours' notice, but clearly this affected his dispatching for these days. I travel frequently for work and leisure and this is the best car service ever. Our driver Toufick went way above and beyond my expectations. I organized a night out for a bachelor party and we booked a car to take us from Venice beach to a club downtown and back. This was done over the phone and the communication was very clear and professional. Toufick arrived on time however we were not ready yet. No sweat, Toufick was cool and patiently waited for us. Before starting the journey he realizing it was a bachelor party asked if we had any music - the answer was a resounding YES! What a perfect way to start out night. Toufick is an old school hip hop fan like us and we blasted the music and sang together. His energy was infectious and set the tone. After the end of the night, we found Toufick already outside the club waiting for us at the agreed upon pickup time. However, we made a game-time decision to stop off for some food before heading back to the hotel. Toufick accommodated this last minute change and agreed to stay with us the rest of the night. He said that he wanted to make sure we got home safe. When we got to the restaurant Toufick helped us get a table and even tipped the waitress so we can get better service because it was crowded and understaffed. He waited for us as we ate and got us all home. After we were dropped off, I asked him how much the charge was for the extra time. I had to have surgery and was thinking of taking Uber to Cedars. After reading the mostly abysmal reviews and how many times the drivers are late, I decided that wasn't the time to use a service I was unfamiliar with. I couldn't chance being late and I really didn't want the additional stress. So, I found what looked like a small driving service and decided to give them a try. When I booked the ride, I spoke to Toufik, one of the owners of the company. More than once, I stressed I could not be late. I was also on a tight budget. He quoted me a very reasonable price and said he would make sure he would be on time, he would probably arrive early. The morning of the ride, Toufik gave me a call. I thought he was informing me he was on the way to my house. No, he was already waiting in my driveway and was an entire half hour early! I was ready, so we loaded up and left. Toufik is a class act. Very polite. The black, Suburban SUV was absolutely spotless and fully supplied with all kinds of things I unfortunately couldn't drink (I was NPO for the surgery). His driving skills were also spot on. No herky jerkying around, no short or sudden stops, etc. This was a very nice ride on the way to an extremely stressful event. Those who know me are aware I am very tough when it comes to giving 5 star reviews. In fact, I rarely write 4 star reviews. This car service deserves all 5 stars. read more
