At the time, I was still in shock and trying to process everything that had happened. David was incredibly patient, calm, and kind while explaining what would happen with our car, where it would be taken, and how the recovery process worked. We had originally contacted AAA, but learned this was considered a recovery rather than a standard tow. I was so thankful David was there to coordinate everything and help recover our totaled vehicle. Thank you for being such a kind and caring person. While we waited on the side of the freeway, he allowed me and my son to stand safely near his truck as a shield, away from traffic and danger. He also worked closely with the CHP officers to make sure we could safely exit the freeway and get to our destination. I didn't use this towing company by choice it's just the towing company that showed up when I got in an accident. The guy fairly nice. Having never been in an accident and never had a car towed like this i had a bunch of questions and he answered them all nicely. Where i wasnt super happy was how disorganized they are at the actual tow yard. The guy was nice but disorganized. We went the day after my car got towed there to get all of my personal items out of it. While there is asked for my keys because it still had other stuff hanging on it that I needed, it wasnt just the car key. He said oh if the keys aren't in the car we dont have them. I went back to my car and looked in and under everything, not there. The guy went in the office to look around, came out again and said no we dont have them are you sure they're not in the care. We were 100% positive they were not. He checked a second time in his office and still said no they didn't have the keys. Finally he let my husband in the office earlier to look himself. My truck was left in a closed tire repair shop at 530 am by another tow service unable to repair my flat tire which I experienced on the freeway on my way to work. I used the OnStar service in my for the very first time by requesting emergency road service. A Onstar representative advised me that tow service would come out to me shortly. Within ten minutes, I received a phone call from Eddie, a tow truck /roadside repair employee for OnStar. Eddie advised that he was five minutes away. I was happy to hear that help was within minutes from me. Eddie actually arrived within three minutes, observed the flat tire and immediately got to work. Eddie took down my spare, used a jack to lift my truck and changed my tire within four minutes. Wow, this guy was good and very efficient. Eddie lowered my truck, placed the flat tire in the rear of my truck and was completely done in less than ten minutes. Horrible service! My roadside assistance company sent this incompetent, poor qualitative company to transport our vehicle from point A to point B. They took the vehicle without communicating that they arrived prior to the estimated time. Cool. I'll meet you at point B. But when I called the agency to inquire about the status of the vehicle, a very rude and unprofessional woman let me know "she didn't know nor care" where the vehicle would be left. When I asked if she could communicate with the driver she straight up said "no." She hung up. I called back, and the "supervisor" answered and said "I was demanding too much." Stay away. I'm already collaborating with USAA to make sure companies like such aren't used to service its consumers. read more

Had to deal with this shady company again. My friend's car needed a tow, and in the past, I've used my roadside for several cars that needed a tow that aren't on my policy. It's never been an issue. The tow companies towed every car. Not this company. They wouldn't do it but did offer to tow it out of pocket for $85. Of course they would. That's really what they wanted more money. I chose not to give any more business to this company, so I declined. Called someone else. Today, I noticed that my insurance was charged not once but twice for the phantom tow they did not provide. Stay away from this towing company. They were used by my AAA membership to provide towing service and took over 1hr and a half to get remotely close to where we were. We called for an update and the rep was very disrespectful and told us "I can make you wait longer, you want me to cancel the tow"? He then proceeded to cancel the tow and I had to wait to call another tow for another hour. Truly awful experience if you get this towing company via AAA I suggest you to cancel and request another one. Lady dispatcher at onstar answered very rudely and yelling at me on the phone that she couldn't answer my question because I didnt tell her my location. (Isn't she suppose to ask that?) Then immediately told me it will be another 45min wait. I asked to speak with another person because I didnt want to deal with her. She said hold but never was on hold and overheard her conversation to another person next to her informing that this job cost a little and since their driver is busy she didnt let the driver know yet. After a several min. conversation she had with another person in her office, she then told me to call my insurance company if I had a problem waiting 45min. Then hung up. 10min later Roger, tow truck driver from Onstar called asking my location again and that he will be at my location in 15 min. As he promised, he was here 15 min later. He was very nice. Greeted me with a smile and told me he would have to put his truck in front of my car to be tow. He gets into his car and drive off super fast as if someone was chasing him WTF!!!! Allstate was able to pinpoint my exact location and find them within minutes and scheduled my pick up service with full tracking. It took about an hour for them to get to my location but the tracking comforted me as well as the live updates I was receiving by phone/text. The team at On Star Towing & recovery were easy and quick to communicate with upon calling. I gave them my exact location and desired destination about 30 minutes away upon calling. They provided a VERY reasonable quote and time estimate of arrival for pickup. They kept their word on both!!! I waited another hour because she told me an hour it would take. That the person who was towing was going to call me any minute. The only person who was helpful was Adrian n Luis. I called to get my car towed and the driver Luis arrived after about 1.5 hours which is reasonable. However, he was rude and downplayed my car problem and basically implied that I was wasting his time. Why would I waste money getting my car towed if there wasn't a real problem?? Eventually he gets my car onto the bed, scraping my car's bumper in the process. He asked me a few questions then suddenly got back in the truck in the middle of the conversation. I assumed that he needed to make a call or something so I waited for him on the sidewalk for about 5 minutes. Then, he drove away without letting me know!! I called him back to let him know that I was still waiting for him and that he left me hanging but he just hung up on me!! This guy has serious communication issues. Also, he kept pulling his mask down during parts of my interaction with him!! I called the manager after this happened and the manger outright sided with the driver saying that I was already aware of where the car was being taken to and that the driver doesn't need to say anything else. She promised me a follow up but never received a call. Overall, I would not recommend. Arrival time wasn't the best, and customer experience was horrible. read more
