While sharing a giant turkey and provolone sandwich with my daughter I noticed something shiny in my sandwich. After looking I realized it was plastic, like a surrand wrap, all around the edge of every turkey slice and on large piece on the entire side of a slice that looked like an end piece. Unfortunately, I swallowed some of the plastic wrap and so did my daughter unknowingly. I tried to call the location and it did not ring but there was a message "mailbox has not been set up" it was 8:45pm so I decided to drive all the way back and got there at 8:55pm. When I walked in I asked to see a manager or supervisor the gentleman said he was one of them. I told him I am upset because there is plastic all over the turkey in the sandwich I had just purchased. I then took out pieces of the half eaten sandwich to show him and he said "oh, I know exactly what that is, it's the plastic around it your sandwich wasn't prepped correctly, that's really bad I'm sorry I can give you a refund for it." As he is giving me the refund he asked if the other sandwich I purchased was ok, I told him that I have no idea because my son ate it quickly and there wasn't turkey so hopefully his meat didn't have plastic on it. He then did the refund and a coworker then said "you can just give her a full refund, I'm sorry you had to come back. Would you want your name down in our book to come in the future for a remake of the sandwich." I told her no shocked everyone is so "calm" about the error that they made because they were the ones making my sandwich. I'm also shocked that no one offered to remake my sandwich right then and there EVEN if it was closing time. The whole "oh man, that's too bad" response and attitude is mind blowing to me. I come to this location often. I genuinely feel bad for the employees here. The woman who seemed to be the shift manager was openly yelling at and demeaning her staff. It was uncomfortable to watch, and honestly, it made me feel awful for the workers. If this is how she speaks to them in front of customers, I can't imagine what it's like behind the scenes. This guy is Manager+++ material. I wish we lived in a place where corporations rewarded humanity and kindness what it deserves. He's too good for fast food and the effort and attention he shows doesn't have a price tag you can place on it. He had care and consideration for EVERY customer in the store. He was very knowledgeable about so many aspects of the company, from the menu changes over the years to how the point system on the app works and then some. The mental load of care and respect was very visible to someone who was a sandwich artist more than a decade ago. Not only that, I also saw him extending that kindness respect and care to those he works with. If this guy isn't getting a raise at every opportunity possible I can't understand why. He is definitely raising the energy of this establishment to a better place. I subconsciously straightened some chairs for goodness sake and was seen and thanked, much to my embarrassment. Adam, if you are reading this, thanks for the service and conversation. Customer Service is a hard industry and I wish I was able to offer more than words of encouragement for you being a kind human being given, in my opinion, max effort at a what can be thankless job. Don't order on the app and expect your order to be ready at the designated pick up time. You're way better off just getting in line and ordering because at no point do they prioritize the pick up orders. I could have gone through the line 5 times in the time that I waited for my should have been ready pickup. Palmdale location is much better. read more

I am an elderly gal who had a craving for a sub sandwich stuffed with fresh meats and all the fixing. I used to drive to Granada Hills for a fabulous sub but had heard that Jersy Mike's was worth a try. My daughter and i went inside and were warmly greeted. I explained my desire for a yummy sub and Juan suggested The Italian for me and Club Supreme for my son at home, my daughter ordered the hot Chicken Philly. The subs were made by Juan and he did Jersy Mike's proud!!! I was so eager to taste mine i couldn't wait to get home i opened my sub and so did my daughter and we are began to taste wonderfullness!!! I was very disappointed with the order and service. I placed an order on the app and half of the order was wrong. they added topping that I specifically said I did not want. when picking up the order, I requested a few of the red relish condiments and was told that they sell it by the bottle. I don't want a bottle , I wanted red relish for the sandwiches I ordered. I specifically ordered the sandwiches without the relish so I can add it myself. And when I asked her to weigh my sandwich, she put the whole sandwich on the scale and said "That's how much meat is supposed to be on there". What?!?! How?? Worst service for pick up. Was completely ignored for 10 minutes before I had to just get in line. Then I was told that the order isn't due until 12:20. I told them it doesn't take 40 minutes to make 1 sandwich. This place has sent even that busy! The staff literally looks like they can't handle 5 customers. I came in earlier today because my family and I decided to grab some Jersey Mike's, so I order 4 subs for all of us. It didn't get busy until after I've arrived, so I went ahead and placed my order and wait. I should've known that my order would've been messed up, because the cook didn't write down my order. So when I went to pay, I asked the cashier is she had all three sandwiches/subs in on the screen, because I had only seen three. She asked me to verify my order and the cook even told her that there was a sub missing from the screen. Now, at this point I should have checked the receipt and my order, but since the cook had told her one sub was missing, I didn't think I would have too. I drove home and I opened my bag to find out that I only had 3 subs, when I clearly ordered and paid for 4. So, as soon as I realized what happened, I called this location and told them what happened. The supervisor was very apologetic, but wasn't able to give me both the sandwich I ordered and my money back. Times are tough right now with a pandemic going on, I don't make much, and I work 50 to 70+ hours a week just to provide for my family. Now, don't get me wrong this could've been prevented had I checked everything before I left the parking lot, but I was so tired and all I wanted to do was go home, eat and spend time with my family. All the focus here is on online orders. So, if you want your sandwich in a timely manner, order online. Whatever you do, don't come into this location. Such a bummer because once you get your sandwich, it's usually delicious. BUT... the online order printer spits tickets continuously. And now with all the plexiglass everywhere, the workers can't even hear customers in line. They're constantly apologizing for not being able to hear and for mistakes they make because they can't hear. So, when your sandwich finally gets squeezed in between the gobs of online orders that are WAY more important, don't expect to actually get what you want because they can't hear you. On our last visit we ordered 3 subs. 2 were made together and 1 was jammed in with some online orders. They kept asking each other, "what's this sandwich?". To finally get their attention when they were putting the WRONG meat on one of our sandwiches we had to wave our arms around and yell. It's crazy!! If this were a review of the food, it's 5 star. The subs are great. Bread is always fresh, veggies are usually fresh and price point is reasonable. At some point the guests in the restaurant just have to become as important as the ones online. And last pet peeve: required tip. I'm a generous tipper but when you require it with a card payment, that's annoying. read more

I ordered on-line because I thought it would be faster and more convenient. I received a confirmation email saying my order would be ready at 6:45p.m - Well,, no exactly true. When I arrived not only was it not ready it wasn't even started? I waited until 7:38pm - almost an hour later? What are you serious? If I would have walked in I would have gotten my sandwich faster, (maybe?) When the guy finally did start my order he was so slow that my 2 year old grandson could have done a better job? If you try to call Jersey Mike's to find out where your food is they don't answer the phone because "they are to busy to answer". This store "manager" Tyler has no idea what customer service is. I called to get a new one, but the first CSR said I had to come in to order, then wait for the food; I asked for the manager who said I didn't have to come in and order, but I had to wait 30 minutes (additional to the previous 30 minutes to get the wrong order) before my food would be ready.
