I visited this salon in July 2021, to get an all over maroon/red color. For reference, I had dark brown/reddish hair. I had sent the stylist photos of my hair (color/length) & the desired result prior to the service. When I got to the appointment I STRESSED how important the quality/integrity of my hair was, and how I have had a bad experience with bleach in the past. She assured me she understood and that I wouldnt have any issues because I wasn't going lighter. Here's where things got bad... she insisted I lift my existing color because I had "box dyed" hair which was inconsistent- again I mentioned I do not want to damage my hair, and she again assured me this is a "Clay lifting treatment" that will not damage my hair. 6 hours & over $500 later, I had a great color and treatment- or so I thought because I could not tell what she had done on a full blow out. When I washed my hair at home, I realized my hair was terribly stringy, and when I combed it out I saw that an ENTIRE CHUNK of my hair was missing on my front left (so bad that I had to get bangs to try and hide the missing hair). I went back and gave them a chance to fix the terrible mistake- she offered me a quick conditioning treatment, but ALSO had the audacity to tell me she had noticed I was missing a chunk of hair when I had came into the appointment! So not only did she FRY my hair, she then lied about it and said it was existing?!?! Why didnt she mention anything at the service? Honestly... i do not know what they could possibly do to make this right, short of refunding me for the service- I just want to warn anyone else who is thinking of making the same mistake I did. The worse part is I had a great time at the salon with the stylist, and I thought we had created a good relationship. If this was all to charge me more- I am heartbroken because it will take years to fix this damage. I thought I was going to a reputable salon which is why I walked out paying over $500 dollars. Save yourself the heart break and do not go here! oh and i literally had it redyed a month later cause the color isnt even what I requested.... -_-

She was an exceptional colorist, a friend, and felt like family. There was a lovely memorial at the salon. I have included a picture of her station where loving photos adorn the wall. The owner of the salon, Ofeer, is a phenomenal stylist and has a heart of gold. At Yelp we support local businesses and this is just the kind of business we want to support. Yvonne answers the phone and greets you with a warm smile. She is wonderful as she schedules appointments and makes sure clients are happy and satisfied. Mila is a sweetheart. She gives great shampoos. As she massages your scalp you feel so relaxed and pampered. I don't want to leave her chair. Before Barbara passed away, she recommended that I try Angie for my styling needs. I have been going to Angie for the past 3 months. She is sweet, caring, and does a great job. I am happy that I have continued to go to Zohra. The staff is top notch and each works hard to please their clients. It was really hard coming back and not seeing Barbara. It takes a special salon to honor her memory and continue to do a professional, caring, and superb job for all of their clients. I urge you to support Ofeer and the rest of the Zohra family.

I knew I was late so I said, "please just give me a haircut" to respect my hairdressers time. When I went to pay, O'Hair Salon's Salon Manager made the decision to charge me the full amount of the foil I did not receive- I would. have been ok for a fee but $175 for being 30 minutes late .?? AND, in addition to paying around $230 4 times a year for seven years.... to do the math... This is spending over $10,000 over 7 years. To not cut me a break.... not cool and disrespectful, to me, as a patron. O'hair Salon needs to check themselves when it comes to this type of management judgement calls.

I do not get my hair done more than once every 4 years, but I will certainly be back for a nail appointment before then, and will be recommending this salon to all of my friends. My appointment was at 8am and I was given a generously full cup of hot coffee while I waited for my stylist to settle in. I was given a little tour of the salon and impressed with how much space they have, how modern all the equipment is, and that they even have a kids room! I currently struggle to find time to get my nails done as a mom, and at Progressions I could bring my kid and get some self-love time too. They also have a vegan polish line which fits with my lifestyle. Molly was my stylist and we talked the whole appointment! She is so friendly and I loved getting to know her and sharing some of my life with her. She started by preparing my hair for a hair donation. I found Progressions Salon because they are one of the few businesses that accept hair donations. Molly was able to cut three braided donations off and then pamper me at the hair washing station. Progressions Salon has a chair that massages both your back and your butt during the hair wash and shampoo stage of the appointment. It was the best shampoo experience of my life. After the hair washing Molly gave me a very cute layered bob that complimented my curls. It is hard to find a stylist knowledgeable about cutting curly hair and she nailed it! After the cut she styled my hair and I was set to meet my friends for brunch.
