My oven had already been worked on twice within the first year warranty, but the company that Home Depot sent was unable to fix the problem after two attempts, even though the oven was new at the time. Nick, on the other hand, diagnosed the problem and fixed it successfully on his first attempt. His work was very efficient and he could not have been more professional, courteous, or pleasant throughout the entire process. The second appliance was my washing machine, which presented a little more of a challenge because the necessary part was difficult to find, but Nick was able to locate the correct part and complete the repair really quickly. The three visits to work on both appliances included the initial evaluations, identifying and obtaining the correct parts, and completing repairs to both appliances. Considering the amount of time Nick spent working, and the fact that three separate visits were required, I found the prices to be extremely reasonable. By today's standards it's worth repeating....the prices were extremely reasonable ! I highly recommend TJ Appliance Repair, and if you have the opportunity, I would recommend asking for Nick. Had to reschedule since Costco didn't include all the parts and then when they came back after I purchased the parts they then said they had a policy where they wouldn't install it since my condo unit uses a wall drain instead of a floor drain. Anyways, I contacted Elijah at Quickfix. Very quick to respond, and was clear in their communication. Much more personable than the bigger businesses that just feel so impersonal with random technicians. They offered a competitive rate and were able to come the same day to help us install the Washtower. Elijah and Nate were extremely friendly, told me that they didn't need to use all the parts that the previous installer told me to buy, so I will be able to return some items. They moved the machine into the closet, got it hooked up and running, tested it to make sure everything functioned properly, cleaned up and also helped take all the packaging trash out. The freezer fan wasn't working so he ordered a replacement fan and I paid him a deposit. While awaiting the delivery of the fan, the existing fan started working again. I asked Artur about it and he said he's seen this situation before and it's likely the fan could be failing so I asked him to come back to replace the fan. When Artur came back and plugged in the new fan, it didn't work so the issue wasn't the fan. Upon further evaluation, he said it looks like the compressor is failing so it's not worth spending more money on my refrigerator. He had also cleaned the refrigerato coils and three other appliances during the visit. He said I will need to buy a new refrigerator soon so wasn't not going to charge any more than the deposit I already paid. I really appreciate Artur's honestly and awesome customer service.
