Nicole was such a pleasure to work with, from our initial phone conversations to meeting in person to design our wedding album. We were so fortunate to have Nicole and her team photograph our special day. Nicole, Karen, and Phoebe arrived promptly to our hotel and immediately went to work photographing our day. They were all incredibly professional, friendly, and organized. I have never met anyone that was as organized as Nicole. She really spends time planning everything out so that the day runs smoothly. Nicole and her crew also worked very well with our videographer. They complemented each other well. Not only is Nicole invested in quality photographs, but she is invested in getting to know the couple. Nicole called us several times before the wedding to talk about how we met and to share our story. We really appreciated this because not only did it allow Nicole to learn more about us, but she was somehow able to capture the essence of our relationship in her photographs. Nicole pays great attention to detail. She has extraordinary vision. You can tell she has a true talent for this. We joked with Nicole that we are awkward in photos, but Nicole eased our nerves and miraculously overcame our photo-awkwardness! We also want to thank Nicole for her patience with photographing our dogs, Dallas and Bradley, on our wedding day. They even brought a squeaky ball to get the attention of our pups during photoshoots (and even doggy bags for any stops along the way--superb service!). Nicole works with you and goes through a detailed plan on who you would like her to focus on whether it be friends, family, wedding party, etc. She is also open to all your ideas about the types of photographs you would like. When it was time to design our photo album, Nicole invited us to her studio to watch a slideshow of our photos on a projector. This was truly an experience, and it really brought back such wonderful memories. We designed a high-quality photo album and it is truly breathtaking. Both Daniela and Emma were very professional and wonderful to work with. They are both clearly very passionate about photography and love their jobs, and it shows through their work. I was picky when it came to photography, and I was so excited by how our photos turned out. Daniela and Emma captured the emotions of intimate moments beautifully, but they were completely non-intrusive and I don't remember cameras being around at all. I really loved having them around at our wedding, they were a really calming presence throughout all the chaos! I really can't recommend them enough. Emma took our engagement photos. I wanted to have our engagement shoot at the ICA. However, when we arrived, we found that there was construction going on in every direction. However, from looking at our photos you would have never guessed it! We started taking photos right around sunset, and they turned out absolutely stunning. We even used a large print of one photo as the background of our seating chart. The day of the wedding had many chaotic moments, but Daniela was a wonderful calming presence. After our honeymoon, Daniela dropped by with our wedding photos. Every bride complains about the whirlwind day of the wedding and not being able to remember everything. Looking through our photos was like reliving our wedding day without the stress, and I instantly teared up. Daniela and Emma had managed to capture everything, from the raw emotions down to the details of our centerpieces. I really like the formals with my husband and bridal party. However, i feel that some moments of the wonderful evening were not captured well. For example, there was only one picture captured of me dancing with my dad. I look forward to putting together my album and I do feel that I have enough shots for it, but will definitely miss the few moments that linger in my memory but were not captured. It seems that Sam's specialty is non-traditional weddings, and he did an awesome job! We met with him a couple of times before the wedding to go over ideas for poses and pictures and to finalize a timeline. He's professional and polite, but fun and friendly, too. By the end, we felt more like friends than his clients On the day of the wedding, he made sure to get all of the poses on the list and was flexible enough to go with the flow when things just didn't work out like we planned (and let's be honest, things rarely go according to plan). Many, many of our guests mentioned to us afterwards how impressed they were with Sam's work...and that was even before we saw the pictures. We got access to our online gallery about 3 weeks after the wedding, and the pictures are phenomenal, just drop dead gorgeous! He got all of the important shots, but even got close up pictures of all of the decorations, too. His attention to detail is really to be commended. Sam provided excellent customer service, with prompt communication via email. He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera, and guided us on how to pose. Initially, it felt awkward (mainly because I've never done this before!) but Sam clearly knew how to position us such that the photos looked good yet natural. All the photos that I felt I appeared awkward, actually turned out to be quite beautiful. Sam was always able to capture moments with his photography - this added to the "natural" non-rehearsed feel of the photos. He captured a lot of really fun moments - real emotion is conveyed through his photographs. The photos themselves are beautiful!! Sam really has an eye for color and lighting. We love the photos and browse through them almost daily. All of our wedding guests adore the photos. I have been asked on multiple occasions to refer them to Sam for their event!
