This is a good sized store and nicely organized. Lots of clothing and many shelves with household goods. I hit the jackpot with things I was looking for including a jacket, dishware, holiday, and crafting supplies. Staff were very friendly at this location (shout-out to Henriette who checked me out). It was quite busy for a Monday, and I actually told two kids (with their mother!) not to run around wildly because they could hit someone (namely me with my cane: I don't want to fall). A staff member came over and said thank you for saying something, so that's a reminder to customers to be cautious in busy spaces with close aisles. Prices vary, but look for the discount color sticker to minimize the cost. I got a blazer for $8 and craft supplies for way less than they'd be at Michael's! read more

I went to goodwill today and there was a note on the door saying as of tomorrow there will no longer be colors of the week, discounts, military, veterans discounts, etc. My goodness they've already raised the prices so high that some things are equal or more than retail! how greedy can the CEO's get?! read more

I used to love the Naperville Goodwill until recently when most of the clothing items are in poor condition overall. They had great buys in the past when working on a budget. Now, it seems they moved all their better quality items to sell online at a higher price tag or they just don't keep them in this store. It's sad, as it was usually packed with people, now there is nowhere to go for families trying to live within their means. It has taken away it's true charity qualities. read more

Welp... all my stuff lives here. To be fair, I went back again today, about 3 months after I last dropped off 17 garbage bags (not even an exaggeration, sadly) that were absolutely bursting with clothing, and I didn't see a single thing on the racks. An optimistic me wants to believe that my stuff was so cool that it just flew off the shelves and into the homes of stylish pre-teen in the tri-county area, but realistically I know they probably burned (and rightfully so) most it. Just kidding. Maybe? Ya know, I don't actually know how Goodwill works, but boy am I glad they do what they do. I came back again today to drop off another 9 bags of my old stuff, because I'm awful and never get rid of anything and also because my significant other tries his best to help me not be candidate for the show 'Hoarders' and pushes me (in a good way) to rid myself of the seemingly endless baggage I've accumulated for the last 30 or so years. Plus, he constantly reminds me throughout the purging of things project that while my stuff still is really nice, I shouldn't be sad to see it go because it'll probably go to a good home with someone who really needs and appreciates it. Which surprisingly, really does strike a sensitive nerve and makes me want to give more... which I can absolutely stand to do. I'm always impressed with the staff here. So friendly and thankful and they really seem happy to be there and be helping out, which was equally as unexpected as it was refreshing. They do a great job of keeping things in order by section, size, color, etc and they have a lot of hidden gems from the likes of J. Crew, Banana Republic, and others. Today we went and saw this completely rad retro living room set and a cat clock with different kinds of cats for every hour. Other gems I've found here include a VHS to 'A Goofy Movie', handmade pottery produced at a professional-level and priced unbelievably cheap, and so very much more. read more

This place looked like it's was not cleaned the floors were dirty like they were never mopped. there was items that were dirty the rugs had stains on them. I honestly I expected more from this store. The bathrooms were especially dirty. My family was in there no longer that 10 minutes because of how dirty it was. If there was a place that would get Covid it's would be here. read more

This Goodwill location is rather hard to find, tucked away of the main road, right next to an Ace Hardware store. It is relatively new, and does not have the attic smell that many thrift stores seem to have. Ever since forever banning Salvation Army from my thrifting outings, I have come to love Goodwill even more. Not only can I save me some money, the money I do spend goes for a very worthwile cause. This particular location really does not have the clothing selection that the one in Bolingbrook on Weber Road has. Their clothing selection is quite lacking. They do not have the women's clothing separated from regular or plus sizes, you really have to have the patience to go through it piece by piece. This location does have a bigger selection of used books, home decor, and retro electronics than any other location I have been to. Also, be sure to sign up for the Goodwill Club Card. Wow! Most of the times thrift stores are just racks and racks of disorganized messes. Not this Goodwill. It was cleaner and more organized than any closet or thrift store I've seen in my life. I was looking for a pair of shoes because I didn't like the ones I brought to wear. I ended up finding cute grey boots for $5. Their shoe selection was pretty pathetic in my size range, but thrift stores are all about timing and I guess I just didn't come the right day. There's no room in my closet for more clothes, but I did peruse the clothes a little and I found a few cute jackets. The housewares section was packed with people, so I didn't get a chance to check that either. Tip: near the registers and bathrooms, you can find the high end purses and shoes. I didn't see much, but there were a few Guess items marked at approx $15-20. Next time I'm in the area, I'll make it a point to check back and see what's in store at the cleanest Goodwill in America. read more

My experience at this Goodwill location was only so-so compared to others, and it certainly didn't break into my top 3: Lemont, Bolingbrook, and Naperville. The store is clean, and the racks are organized. The racks are noticeably less crammed than other stores, so I did like the ease of browsing. The aisles are wide enough for more than 1 person to browse. They do 50 percent tag sales on Sundays, so I was surprised it wasn't very busy. Goodwill's pricing is always pretty standard, $3-5 for a top, depending on the style and season. I found a Limited brand cardigan here, with the original tags, priced at $7. Still a bargain compared to the Limited's price, but I was put off by the markup since this isn't a consignment shop. There were a lot of unattended children running around and banging on the fitting room doors. I know this isn't Neiman Marcus, but you should still keep an eye on your children or leave them at home. If neither of those are an option, then you stay home too. read more

Large, well stocked, with definite deals to be found. I stopped in after checking out a savation army nearby. There's definitely a lot to look at, my friend even found some Prada (or maybe Fraud-a!) shoes here. We'd been shopping for over 2 hours already though so I didn't look too thoroughly. They have a great selection of clothes here. I only wish that the sizes would be more correctly arranged. I've seen a lot of smaller sizes like 4 and 6 being labeled a 8 or 10 on the tags which only aggravates me when I find something uber cute and it's way too small or big. This location in particular has a lot of books and appliances, dolls. I picked up some nice pieces of small furniture too. Staff was nice. I hated bothering them with the fitting room doors which I locked myself out about five times. It was four stars until, they left two of my items out!!!!! I came home, counted 11 items. I was charged for 13 items... the two pants that I really REALLY REALLY wanted can't be found. WTH!!!!??? I checked my receipt and my bag. I even called them asking about that night. They did not care. I can't go all the way back to Woodridge. $10 down the drain thanks to crappy service.. Just watch them carefully to make sure ALL items go into bags. read more

Goodwill in general has really gone down in terms of the quality of their merchandise. They now sell junk quality goods at a much higher price. They used to be good three years ago before they started selling their better merchandise online. It is a waste of time and money to shop there. read more

This Goodwill is smaller but has some awesome finds. I frequent this store just to look at some of the stuff that is donated. They get a lot of furniture and price it quite reasonably and it moves very fast. It's clean and well maintained, even on Sunday's and Monday's which are the sale days. When busy staff quickly opens more registers to keep the lines moving. The store is kind of hidden if you don't know the are that well. read more

Oh the treasures that await. Funny as a kid I wouldn't be caught dead in a thrift store. As an adult it's addictive! You can furnish a whole home decor wise with beautiful pairings, frames, plants, Crystal and Knick knacks for pennies on the dollar. The excitement is something new each time. I know thrift store shopping is exciting I might be getting old! Estate sales are overpriced and creepy (someone's house usually smelly). This is definitely a Goodwill store. Plenty of used garments and some nice early 90's furniture(man they loved that blonde wood back then). As far as thrift stores go the Goodwill chain is nice. It's clean and all the items they sell are clean and don't smell like pee. That's a big bonus if you ask me. This trip was during December and surprise surprise I came for an ugly sweater. They had set up one big rack near the front with all their holiday flavored stuff, from sweaters to pajama pants if it had a reindeer, snowflake or fat man on it it was there. Which was convenient and all but takes all the fun and the spirit out the this newer tradition. Part of the ugly sweater process was rifling through racks and racks of clothing until that one special piece makes you wretch in just the right way. But now you can be in and out and have a winning sweater in no time. Borderline cheating I say. I digress. The store has a good selection of everything. You can get hats, shoes, jackets, picture frames for $.99, nicknacks and 1970's speakers. Nothing was in short supply. Due to proximity and selection I feel I have found my new thrift store. read more

This is a large, bright, clean organized store with lots of small furniture. They seem to have an abundance of everything. This store was my maiden voyage. Had this store been a dud, I highly doubt I would have become the Goodwill junkie that I profess to be. I rarely visit here anymore because I've moved out of the area, but this place has fond memories of awesomeness. read more

Usually a good store, but tonight had a bad experience. An employee made a comment to me three times about my being the last customer - once about my always being the last customer, and another time asking me if I was done yet. All this before 9:00 pm. When I went to pay, still before 9:00 pm, I was going to complain about this employee. Turns out he was the MANAGER of this store. Whomever decided this guy should be the manager should have their head examined. I don't know if they were hoping to close early or what, but this is the first time I have felt like I was being pushed out of a Goodwill. They called 9:00 pm when I was almost finished being rung out. The rest of the workers were fine, and the lady ringing me out did just as she ought. Management at this store needs to be reconsidered. Giving it two stars tonight because of the lady who rang me out. Otherwise it might have been 0 stars. I'm usually in this store at least once a week. read more

I used to love, love, love this location. Lately, the prices are higher than Target clearance for used clothes, and the price tags are poked through the fabric material instead of a seam or the label. The staff pull the items towards them by the tag, making the holes even bigger. I've had to stop going there except for furniture purchases. Not worth the money with clothing, but I still donate there because it's so close to my house. read more

The staff is very friendly, and the drop off is quick and easy. Each time I use the drive up they come out right away with a smile and a thank you, ready to take my unwanted items. I've donated at other stores and usually the curbside drop off guys are in the worst mood, but not here. The inside is clean and organized too. read more

So I was a loyal customer to this Goodwill store until today. I purchased a coffee maker for $9.99, when I got home I plugged it in and nothing- other than a smell of burning electricity. So not only was this item faulty but also a fire hazard. When I reached the store manager (Dwayne) I was told they have a no return policy, when I asked for a store credit I was told no and informed that it was my fault for not plugging it in at the store which I had no idea you could do (no signage or notifications anywhere). When I asked the manager if they test electronics before they put them on the floor she said no, so they knowingly put items on the floor the are faulty and possibly a fire hazard like this item. I called the corporate customer service and they were politely rude as well and basically said I was at fault as well. Do not support Goodwill as they do not support their customers who are on a limited income. Shame on them they do not stand by their products and could care less when putting faulty items on their shelves and sell them to people of limited means.
