I tried their $60 NYC Restaurant Week menu and I honestly thought that's actually worth booking! Oncheon brought korean hot spring inspired cuisine to the heart of busy ktown, and I'm beyond excited that we finally have a spot in NYC serving korean soy marinated seafood. The marinated seafood platter would've been $79 for two if we ordered à la carte, so the RW menu felt like a steal. This is the perfect way to try both the seafood and shabu-shabu without committing to a full order of either. We left SO full. *Seafood Kimchi Pancake *Crispy Beef Fritters It was hard to pick a favorite between these two. The kimchi pancake had some nice charred, crispy edges that I loved, while the beef brisket one was coated in this super crunchy batter that almost felt like chips. *Signature Shabu-Shabu We went with the recommended doenjang broth and wagyu ribeye, and WOW... I could've kept sipping that broth all night. The set comes with your choice of wagyu, veggies, four sides, and four dipping sauces. My favorite was the ponzu, as it added a citrusy kick without overpowering the beef. *Marinated Seafood Platter (+$9) The salmon slices were so thick and fatty they could barely stay on my chopsticks! And the soy marinated blue crab had way more meat than any I've tried in NYC. I'd come back just for this. I also loved making handrolls with the fresh shrimp and rice. *Fruity Bear Ice Cream *Green Tea Tiramisu I hate to say it, but the desserts were meh...The ice cream tasted artificial. The tiramisu was dry and barely tasted like green tea, and the mascarpone cheese wasn't fluffy and had a funky taste. I'd save dessert for somewhere else, but the prix-fixe is still worth it even if you skip dessert.

Oncheon definitely has a beautiful, upscale aesthetic, but the overall setup doesn't feel entirely practical for a shabu shabu meal. A major drawback is that you can't adjust the heat yourself at the table. While the concept of the 3-4 layer bento boxes is visually very cute, it's definitely not ideal for larger groups. I also wished our waiter had taken the time to explain the menu and the concept to us when we arrived to make things clearer. As for the food, the ingredients tasted fresh, but the portions are on the smaller side, so you will definitely need to order à la carte add-ons to feel full. The best thing was their signature soup base, it was incredibly delicious and reminded me of traditional Japanese shabu shabu. For the beef fritters I also didn't get to taste the beef as much so that felt like a miss for me too

Came for the marinated seafood platter, stayed for the makgeolli! The milk tea honeycomb makgeolli might be one of my favorite new drinks in the city. Came for a weeknight dinner w/ a resy. Good amount of space but would still recommend making a reservation since they aren't hard to get. Interior is fine, not really the zen hot spring vibe I was expecting. But the food was very tasty! Marinated seafood platter (seasonal for the summer) was refreshing and perfect in the hot weather. I also really liked the beef fritters- super crispy.

Oncheon is a stunning Korean restaurant in Manhattan's ktown with a soothing and calm ambience. The space is beautifully decorated and I love all the decor. There's so much attention to detail even to how the menus were displayed that I really liked. My friend and I shared the lunch shabu shabu for two with the waygu and brisket, udon noodles and ma la soup base. Overall it was filling between the two of us with the set. This is a great spot in ktown for an elevated dining experience!

Overall, the meal was delicious! The atmosphere is very peaceful and aesthetic. It really fits the idea of a Korean spa/hot spring. The service was fantastic. Everyone was kind and offered help wherever they could! The meal was tasty with a lot of different sauces, meats, bonchon, and veggies. The only issue I had was with the price. It was much higher than I'd expect for Shabu Shabu. We ended up spending around $50 per person before tip

Amazing dining experience at Oncheon NYC! The Korean hot spring-themed atmosphere is gorgeous and relaxing. We tried the NYC Restaurant Week $60 three-course dinner, featuring delicious beef fritters, a super fresh and refreshing marinated seafood platter, and an adorable bear ice cream. The signature wagyu shabu set is also top-tier, clean, and satisfying. Highly recommend making a reservation on Resy before you go!

Oncheon nails the hot spring concept, the decor and overall ambiance really do make the space feel transportive and intentional rather than gimmicky. It's warm, moody, and immersive. The Seoul Glow cocktail (Asian pear-based) was good - definitely on the sweeter side, but surprisingly strong. Super easy to drink. The su yuk was delicious and one of our favorite dishes of the night. The spicy sauce served alongside it balanced everything really well and added a lot of depth without overpowering the meat. Our only real disappointment was the seafood kimchi pancake. There wasn't much seafood distributed throughout, and the kimchi leaned more sour. There was also a huge amount of shredded leafy garnish on top (possibly perilla?) that kind of overwhelmed the dish texturally. The dipping sauce was nice, though. The seafood platter - which was really the reason we came - was very good for a little under $80 and had a solid variety. The shrimp and salmon were especially well-marinated, and honestly I preferred their marinades to a lot of others I've had in the city. My one note is that I wish the crab had sat in the marinade longer. The claw meat in particular didn't feel like it fully absorbed the flavor the way the other seafood did.

what i ordered: beef steak chanhap what i paid: $34.00 after tax and tip would i get again: yes, highly recommend the lunch specials :) i just recently heard about oncheon and after seeing their lunch menu, i knew I had to go! The inside is very cute and I was able to walk in on a Friday a little after noon and get a seat right away. The food was well seasoned and I enjoyed everything! In the side dishes, there is a frozen lychee jelly that was the perfect dessert to go along with the meal. I made friends with the girl next to me who got the marinated seafood platter and she really enjoyed her food as well.

Delicious shabu set with porcini mushroom broth, we opted for the rib eye along with noodles & fried tofu skin. We also started off with the Su Yuk ( slow cooked pork belly) and for drinks the flower power mocktail and Glow Seoul. Everything was delicious, staff was friendly and attentive. Inside was cozy, modern clean feel.

5/5 Chanhap unagi $35- My friend said this is the best eel she's had in the US, & I agree. This comes with rice on the bottom, on the side: layers of rice, scrambled eggs, seaweed & furikake. There's also wasabi & pickled ginger on the side. The eel is sweet but I didn't really mind it, very flavorful & tender otherwise, I think the furikake or seaweed on the egg was too salty. I didn't use the wasabi which I regret. You're supposed to mix all the sides/everything together so you get a blend of all flavors in 1 bite- sweet, salty, spicy, umami. This also comes with banchan- soy sauce, seaweed, brilliantly plated kkaktugi wrapped in kimchi & a lychee yuzu dessert. Loved everything esp the dessert. 3/5 porcini mushroom set seafood platter $42 glass noodle $5 extra - the crab wasn't the best quality but everything else was pretty good

Oncheon ("On" = warm, "Cheon" = spring) really lives up to its name, the whole place has a relaxing, hot-spring vibe. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable, and they serve a very clean, healthy style of hot pot. We ordered the Oncheon Signature Set ($42 per person). For the soup base we chose the fermented soybean broth, which was excellent. The set comes with a box of assorted vegetables and four small side dishes. For proteins, we added the Wagyu ribeye (+$7) and the seafood platter. The Wagyu came with about 5-6 thin slices and the quality was really nice. The seafood platter included scallops, crab, white fish, clams, and shrimp -- a great mix for two people. After cooking everything together, the broth became incredibly flavorful from the seafood and beef. That's one of my favorite parts of hot pot -- the soup just keeps getting better as you go. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience felt relaxing rather than rushed. I'd probably go with the seafood platter alone next time since it's a good value for the portion. All in all, a great spot for a lighter, healthier hot pot. You leave feeling full but still comfortable.

Delicious food! The raw marinated seafood in the summer special was so fresh and delicious, and the warm soup set was so flavorful and hearty. The milk tea makgeolli was also unique and delicious. The servers were super helpful and attentive, and the ambiance was great.

The menu was a joy to read and it was soon obvious that we weren't going to go wrong with anything we ordered! The Han dumplings are *chefs kiss* y'all need to order them for sure. For my main course I went with the LA galbi. I had a hard time eating the steak with my chopsticks so I ended up using my hands, (our waiter said that was normal, but he may have just been nice) because the flavor was so good I didn't want to leave any meat uneaten. Seriously some of the best flavors of my life!!! Though I'm still learning how to eat green things I bet the salad was amazing too!! The restaurants vibe was so much fun, we feel very grateful to have been able to eat at Her Name is Han and will recommend it to anyone who asks. 100/10 would recommend :)

Walked in, they flipped the cup and filled our water cups and then refilled our water after filling our cups. Very thoughtful. They also brought extra napkins after the dishes started coming out. Sides Zucchini taste like Chinese jellyfish . Pretty tasty The kimchi wasn't too strong in flavor but it was a pretty good flavor Fishcake tastes like aji ichiban. Sweet. Broccoli decent. Roasted garlic flavor Bossam was decent. Could be a bit more tender but has plenty of flavor. Wish it had bigger pieces of veggie and more. Can't even wrap the meat Spicy raw marinated crab Felt like it was hard to find the meat with all the sauce The sauce was very enjoyable , perfect amount of flavor, spice and sweetness Crabs did feel very fresh and sweet though Kimchi pancake was pretty decent in flavor and came with an egg on it but no sauce. It was lacking a bit of umph which I believe could've been achieved with a sweet and salty sauce/dip Seafood stew felt very light in a good way even with its spice. The flavor is good and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients I wish the egg which was in the stew was a bit more runny in the stew. I added the egg from the kimchi pancake into the stew and it vastly improved the dish. Portion size of the pancake and bossam felt pretty small though Corn bingsu Pretty decent. It's about a 1 person serving or 2 if everyone is pretty full The also layered it so that it wasn't only flavoring on the top. Even the bingsu ice part was sweet. The corn flakes were very crispy and the corn cream was good almost milky like white chocolate . Very refreshing after the meal The food was decent overall but did not really feel justified for it's price. The price felt very high for what I felt it was worth.

You got to pick 3 appetizers, 2 main course meals, and a dessert. We were sooo full by the time we were done. Our favorites included the hoe muchim, bossam, and burdock ice cream! In terms of service, staff was super friendly and came by regularly to check up on us. Decorated beautifully and very clean. Do make a reservation and expect to wait 15-20 min after your reservation to be sat due to peak hrs. I'd definitely return and eat here again with friends. It was an enjoyable experience.

I had a wonderful experience dining at Moono for restaurant week. The interior was beautifully…read moredesigned with immaculate vibes. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and our waiter was ready to provide recommendations. The food was amazing for the price, but I liked some items more than others. I found the wings to be on the lighter side - it's not greasy, but it would not hit the spot if you are craving korean fried chicken. The shrimp pancakes were on the fluffier side, a bit bland, but I prefer flatter and crisper seafood pancakes. The yukhoe was alright, but I'm glad I gave it a try. I would recommend getting the acorn jelly, asparagus japchae, and/or hoe muchim for apps. I kept going back to them. The bossam was very yummy and fresh, and I very much enjoyed the cold noodles. Both of these items I would highly recommend getting. What really stole my heart was the burdock desert. It was not too sweet, perfectly creamy, and absolutely one of my top desert bites I've had in the city. I might go back just to order this again. Overall, the dining experience was fantastic would highly recommend giving Moono a try.
