I recommend the Guinness butterscotch cream late. SOLID A+ Their saigon de leche was basic in my opinion. B- The location can be tough because parking is super limited. I think it would be hard to get work done here. Seating area is very minimal and i dont remember seeing any tables. The customer service here needs some work. I purchased two drinks and then reordered another drink just a couple of minutes later. When my order was called, I only received two drinks. When I asked about the third, the staff tried to charge me again and claimed the receipts didn't show it. I had to show my credit card alerts on my phone to confirm the purchase. The way the situation was handled--especially the way they were talking to me and unwillingness to identify a manager--left me with a negative impression. I recommend that future customers print their receipts to avoid this kind of issue. read more

I think this is a great place to try if you're in the area! They have really unique flavors compared to the coffee shops in the area. I would say the shop is a bit more on the expensive side and there are certain drinks you cannot make any modifications on. The seating area is on the smaller side but well decorated and super cute! I always wanted to try Ondo in LA and was happy that they opened this new location. My review is strictly for just their matcha latte. Unfortunately, my drink was just okay. I wouldn't recommend getting their matcha as there wasn't really a strong matcha taste to it and overall tasted mostly like milk. Even the color of the drink looked barely green. I think they are more known for their coffee and I will be back to try that hopefully. read more

Tried a vanilla latte , coffee was okay nothing over the top. Homeboy next door is WAY better and actually answer questions and have not given me an attitude. I had been wanting to try this place but it always looked closed. I came in today at 3:20 and I ordered a vanilla latte. I asked how much vanilla they put in the drink ( assuming it was pumps) and she said 25 grams. I was trying to calculate how many pumps that is and she laughed at me and told her coworker did you see her face she doesn't understand what grams are. Yes I do, I'm just trying to think how many pumps it would be because I don't like my coffee to be sweet. Won't be coming back for this. Maybe they can be nicer. Been here twice since their grand opening. Their grand opening was great! The line moved fairly fast and they were staffed well enough that drinks came out quickly despite the amount of people. It was perfect because we had 2 toddlers with us. We tried the Mt. Hoji and Pumpkin Spice latte, along with the blueberry danish and butter croissant. Everything was delicious! Loved how the first 100 drinks were free as part of their grand opening event. We came back again on Monday morning. I loved the Mt. Hoji drink so much that I got it again! My husband tried the Peach Royale. Tasty! I also tried the chocolate Mr. Brown's financier, which was just ok. I'd stick with their pastries next time -- they're light, fluffy, and flaky all at the same time. I just took off 1 star because their prices are steep. Got the Guinness Butterscotch Cream Latte and it was great. It wasn't too sweet at all and had a perfect balance between all flavors. I also tried a sip of the strawberry matcha and the matcha was good quality. The strawberry did end up overpowering the matcha a little too much for my personal taste tho. This place is as serious about terroir and process as I aspire to be myself... and to have something like this so close to home is amazing. Not realizing it was their soft opening - I must say the strawberry matcha was delicious and I really liked it! The interior was very modern and cute. As much as I'd like to give 5 stars, I wasn't very impressed with their service (they had no emotions or a hint on customer service, other than the girl making the drinks - cashier had poor customer service and seemed like she wanted to not be there) and there is a mistake on their menu. First - the menu says you can choose your milk of choice (apart of the matcha's price), but when you ask to change it, they're going to charge you a dollar extra - I asked for clarification also, and they said yeah it's going to be extra. Not being frugal or anything, but just letting you readers know in case that's what hooks your interest to visit. Second - the staff isn't as friendly (maybe it depended on the day I went... but it was soft opening?), but the cashier seemed very sleepy or she was not very enthusiastic to be there. There wasn't really customer service up at the front. I don't often complain about cafes since I like visiting them, but I was just thinking these could be signs of improvement since I don't think I've had a poor cafe service experience before other than at Ondo. Another saturated trendy Cafe. Espresso is not worth driving for even if I lived down the street. Did not even bother trying the matcha. The customer service is absolutely horrendous; a kiosk machine would serve me more useful than having someone on POS. I asked questions regarding the menu and the employee could not comprehend any of my questions all I got in return "its good" which I'm certain this employee did not try any of the drinks on menu. I am not sure why cafe owner's want to follow this trend of opening a cafe when it's most likely for 'aesthetically/vibes' and not for the love of cafe culture. read more

This place was disappointing. First of all, there weren't that many drink options on the menu. I couldn't figure out why a pour over was $10 - did I read that right? I make my own pour overs at home, so it's hard to believe that a single pour over could cost that much. When I opted for an iced coffee with milk, the cashier asked if I was "sure" that I wanted my drink with milk. Why wouldn't I be sure about that? Is it unusual to order coffee with milk? Not only that, but they didn't have any two-percent or nonfat milk options, which forced me to pay more for oat milk. The actual location was super small and barely had enough seating places to hang out and work, so I ended up just leaving. Would not recommend returning. read more

I've quickly become a regular here and rightfully so-- their dark roast choco offering is my favorite (especially if you're into chocolate) and they make their cortados to perfection, every time. I'm so happy to know that there's a new bakery servicing the area that ISNT Nonna's bakery bc their croissants are not it. Ondo carries Out of Thin Air's pastries and they truly know what they're doing. I opt for a classic butter croissant but have also tried their CCC and it's great. I wish they carried a cold brew option tbh but they do have a flash brewed ice coffee that I surprisingly really enjoyed (still wish they had cold brew tho). I also stopped by with someone who loves matcha and they completely approved of their ceremonial grade strawberry Matcha latte-- said it was not too sweet and perfectly balanced. Ondo beats the rest!
