Went here for dinner with friends on Friday night. We tried the burrata cheese and pancetta shrimp appetizers. Both were very good although a few more shrimps (only 3 in the dish) would have been nice. Entrees of swordfish, Chilean sea bass and pappardelle were all delicious. Went here for my birthday/Valentines Day lunch with my husband and two kids. The meal was very enjoyable. We had two orders of the filet mignon, penne ala vodka and the Bronzino for our main courses. Appetizers- Calamari and wedge salad. Dessert- Nutella Donuts. All were very tasty! The space is beautiful and It was decorated tastefully for Valentine's Day! Not the restaurants fault but worth mentioning so maybe the GM will take care of it; Only issue was the waitstaff and hostesses were both speaking making fun of customers... speak of False eyelashes (maybe about mine lol) and the way a tween girl was dressed... were just some of the comments. read more

Been here once before had amazing Drinks from the bartender Geraldo! Came back tonight 7/24/20 to celebrate my friends anniversary At the end of dinner we decided to go to the bar by Geraldo and have one more drink before leaving but the manager there that night was the most rude and unprofessional manager any restaurant can have!!! He embarrassed all the bartenders in front of all the guests that were still there! Very unprofessional! He demanded that they immediately stop serving drinks! We bought the bartender a drink and he had to throw it away because of the manager! He should not be a manager if he doesn't know how to treat his employees! Not cool read more

Came here with the fam. Excellent food. Our waiter, Joseph, was knowledgeable and awesome; great guy. I put this spot above Trento and many other spots within the area. Filet mignon was super tender, but a little small. Seabass was great. Shrimp and scallops. Swordfish . Shortrib was top notch, and the celery root was phenomenal. We also got a bunch of desserts and everything was a 10/10. One of the best meals we've had in a while. ---------------- Came here after covid, really sub par. I, like the previous reviewer, need to express how disappointed I was with my dining experience at one10 on NYE. My party of 5 waited over a half hour to be seated even though we had reservations for 9:30pm. After being seated at 10:00pm, we waited over 30 minutes for our waiter to take our drink order. After finally getting our drinks, we waited another hour and a half to receive our meals which were sent to our table right as the NYE ball was dropping. This was unfortunate timing since we couldn't celebrate as intended and toast to the new year as we had wanted. The music was great - if you like house music- but was too loud all night long. I understand a change at midnight, since this is a celebration after all, but upon arrival at 9:00pm on it was blaring. No conversation could be had at the table and it was needed since we were waiting so long for drinks and food. When the food was delivered to the table it was cold. The food would have been great had it been delivered to our table at the right temperature. It is totally understandable that a restaurant may be crowded and loud on NYE but it seemed that the restaurant employees were disorganized, distracted, and not focused at all on the customers. For the prices charged, this is not to be expected and is unacceptable. They also advertised on their website that there would be a free champagne toast at midnight. This never happened. I wrote to one10 to express my concerns with the hope that they would respond in order to improve the experience for their customers. They have not responded which is in line with the treatment of their customers on NYE. read more

Went here for a girls night and it was truly an amazing dining experience. It is gorgeous and massive inside and looks like it would be really nice for an event. Ask for Vinny!!! He was knowledgeable, attentive, charismatic and turned a rocky start with another server into an amazing and memorable evening. I actually (no, really) have dreaming (day and night) about the steak on special, a tomahawk ribeye on this sizzling plate with this incredible char on the outside and cooked perfectly to our request. Where do I even start. This restaurant exceeded all of my expectations. From the valet to the decor to the service to the food. It's all perfect. It is absolutely immaculate inside. If they ran out of tables, I'd gladly eat off the floor. The menu has something for everyone. I wished I could order one of everything. Our server was a women named MJ. She was so attentive and knew the menu inside out. It was so busy and she still managed to make us feel like we were special. The food was AMAZING. I'm still full as I'm leaving this review. This was the new hot spot before covid hit. The place is very industrial feeling with an open concept. Huge bar but I found it to be very noisy and hard to have a conversation. First time stopping by with some friends. The place is pretty impressive inside- has an open floor concept. This looks great but it lacks some intimacy. They have an Impressive bar that handles all fresh mozzarella, hard cheese- aged parmigiano reggiano, prosciutto, oysters, clams etc. The drink bar is also great and they have some great bar keeps that knows their craft very well. The table service is great and the everything we ordered was delicious. We had the grilled octopus and zucchini rollatini. Both very delicious but the portion was on the smaller side, and need to be about a 1/3 larger to share with 4 people. For the main we had the pork chop which come with broccoli rabe. Best pork chop I've ever had- it's suvie and then gets a hard seared and comes with spicy cherries peppers with a drizzle of vinegar. Again, best chop every. We also had a pasta dish with shaved truffles, chop was so good, I forgot the name of the pasta dish. I have them three starts because the lot was empty at 4pm and they still insisted on valet and made my friends parked in the back side they didn't want to valet. I started training with the Scotto group late December. Upon opening they're newest restaurant, One10. Obtained all the knowledge and loved coming to work, happy every day scheduled. After working in the restaurant for about a month after they opened, My higher ups smiled and greeted me daily as if nothing was wrong. After a long busy Saturday night, closing shift. I was informed that I didn't "fit" what they were looking for. As a classy, independent woman of color, I was very offended. I believed I delivered great work ethic and diversity to the host staff. I have never done anything That has jeopardized my job. Nor have I been given a warning, of any wrongdoing on my behalf. During training the managers preached persistently about equality. Treating one another as though we were one huge family. Unfortunately, as time progressed i've come to realize it was just a management prep talk. If you take a closed minded look around the restaurant, you will notice there are literally two (2) persons of color within a staff group of about 350 persons. No one person should be singled out or feel as though they don't belong, in a work environment, due to race, color, gender, religion, sex or if you just didn't "fit" what they were looking for. With this being said I would not recommend working in the Scotto restaurants. If you're looking for equality, this is NOT the place for you. read more

Las Vegas wannabe meet Real Housewives of Long Island. A 50 - 60 yr old "chic" crowd easily impressed with large spaces and scantily dressed greeters. A definite cruise-ship like atmosphere in a restaurant that REALLY wants to be uber-chic. Problem is the food resembles the diners. Passed its prime and doesn't meet expectations. Bread for the table was dry and tasteless. Vegetable "salad" is a mayonnaise soaked bland mix of cucumber and tomato with no taste. I've seen better calamari at the Jersey Shore for a tenth of the price. Other dishes received groans and grunts - nothing to warrant the Manhattan-like pricing. $500 for 4 people. Servers reach and stretch across the table to retrieve dishes. Were they actually trained? 5/5 for design. It's a spectacular layout. A solid 1/5 for the food. Isn't that why you go to a restaurant? Apparently not for the faux glitterati that seem to adore this place. This place is just plain awful. Never go back. Bring back Wonderbread. read more

The mad Russian (aka Svetlana, my wife) and I decided to check out the Happy Hour for this new place close to home right after work. At the time of this review, the restaurant had only been open for four days. Already it seems that they have gotten most of any bugs out of the system. And while we sat at the bar for HH, we had an excellent view of most of the restaurant. Clean and modern, the space is enormous. With two bars along the left as you enter. While we sat at the larger bar, we were told that some creative mixologists were working the other to make some specialty drinks we will have to try on another trip. The larger bar easily fits 60 or so patrons around and there is ample space to stand all the way around if you're tired of sitting. Comfortable chairs and very approachable bartenders are plentiful to handle the impressive after work crowd that came to fill the area by 5:30. We ordered some oysters, artichokes and a few more nibbles and had a couple of cocktails to unwind after a long day. The drinks were served quickly and were delicious but the food was a bit slow. This proved to be ok as we weren't in a rush. When it finally came, the food was good and was very nicely presented. We were offered some bread as well to soak up all the leftover sauces from our other plates. The rest of the massive restaurant was just beginning to fill up as we were leaving; seems like 6-6:30 is when those that come to eat do so. If I were to make a guess, I'd gamble that the restaurant would easily fit three or four hundred guests all told. Due to the location of the restaurant in a great spot on 110, I'm thinking chances are good that they'll be able to keep it full most of the time. Parking was spacious when I arrived and didn't seem to be an issue. Not sure if I saw attendant parking, but seems like it would be a nice touch to have valet. It's either already in place or in the works I'm sure. The only note that didn't receive high marks was an afterthought to the whole experience when my lovely wife inquired about having a corporate dinner there and if there was a pre-fixe menu for possibly 20 or so people. Rather than discuss the possibility of having two dozen patrons come in and occupy some seats at the least busy time of the day, 4pm, the idea was dismissed as not possible. I shook my head- clearly some effort could have been made to explore possible options from what looks like an extensive menu. I'm sure what would have been a several thousand dollar bill disintegrated without much exploring. Seemed like a loss for both parties. Dined as a family for father's birthday today. We had to request bread and didn't receive any butter or oil from the waiter. Very slow service for a weekday the appetizers came shortly before the meal. The meals came about an hour & half after we sat down. We complained to our waiter but received no resolution. Once we addressed the problems, Chris the GM came over to serve us himself and save the day. Without his presence we would have certainly walked out...This will be our last visit for sure. The lobster meatballs were warm, I mean how hard is it to serve hot food?, and the baked clams were just ok.... Nothing at all like Don Pepe's. My main course which consisted of shrimp was acceptable but that is all. The lobster with the linguine was overly rich and presentation was more important than actual taste. Impeccable service from the waiters to the amazing chef Ron that serves the most amazing delicious dishes. This restaurant is amazing! My husband took me here for my birthday and it was worth every dime. It's a little deep in Long Island from where we live in Queens but worth the ride! I called the restaurant they were very accommodating even though we were running late. We had a great table the waitress was very informative of specials and suggestions. Oysters were fresh and tasty. He ordered a steak I believe it had truffle butter it was amazing cream spinach wasn't too thick. I got the lobster pasta that they prepare tableside for you the whole experience was lovely. The best food thus far I've had since before the pandemic started. Kinda of disappointing. The place is huge and very nice. The M bar is good. In this big empty restaurant we get seated in what I will call the kids room. Wooden tables and uncomfortable seats. Other seats looked very nice but they stuck me all the way in the back. It was like paying for a business class ticket but sitting in middle seat of coach. The food was fine. Of all the Scotto restaurants, this has jumped to the top of my list. Very cool aesthetic inside. I like the geometric vibe. It's very inviting. The food was great, as expected, but my favorite part of this meal was our waitress Pam. From the moment we sat down she was so attentive and knowledgeable. I would love to give this place a good rating, but the way the manager handled himself tonight was completely thoughtless. I would think if the owners were there they would have been more than upset. My family has had many dinners at this restaurant before along with Blackstone, Opus and Rare. We usually pick one for our birthday and or anniversary. This restaurant doesn't seem to have any clue as to what details they are missing with their clientele. The restaurant was more than half empty when we came at 6:30pm and they were closing at 7:30pm. We were placed backed up to the kitchen where I have to say the noise at times was deafening as they were rolling stacks of dishes back and forth from the washer and then throwing the dirty dishes into their cleaning stations. It was crazy how loud and startling the noise was when out of nowhere you would just hear the dishes falling into another container. The servers were basically inches on top of us at staging rolling tables behind our booth slamming the dishes putting other peoples leftovers into containers while inches from the back of our heads. The conversations as they were packing the food and vibration as they rolled these narrow carts into the back of the booth was almost comical. I asked the manager why he would seat us there with a half empty restaurant and his response was that they were the sought after tables because the booths were comfortable. There was definitely nothing comfortable about hearing 10 people behind you rolling stacks of plates on carts and yelling across your table for an order as well as banging the back of your booth to package other guests food. The food was very nice, I just don't know how a place or manager could be that oblivious to wanting his customers to have a pleasant and nice experience instead of feeling like you are at a truck stop with the banging and startling noises. The manager we spoke to was a thin older gentleman on the short stature side. Not a fan. Not sure why he works at a place he obviously doesn't want to help his patrons have a nice experience. The first was lovely so we brought friends back for happy hour and dinner. We got to the bar and met the most unfriendly bar tender. She seemed annoyed we were there. We were ignored most of the evening and there were at least 4 or 5 bartenders but it looked like they were working in sections and did not cross into other areas My friends decided to skip dinner since they felt unwelcome and that it was just to expensive for such bad service. read more

This was my initial visit to this new Scotto Brothers restaurant, located on Route 110 in Melville, NY. One 10 is a majestic, well appointed, stately looking, incredibly large establishment (over 12,000 sq. feet), with an open Kitchen, multiple bars and high ceilings. The restaurant is Italian with an American spin and makes zero apologies for their interpretation of Italian classics. We decided to dine at the bar and our barkeep Caitlin, was spot on and well versed in the intricacies of the menu (which is extensive). They have an amazing Mozzarella Bar, featuring freshly sourced gourmet quality cheeses, meats, salads and more! My associate and I had the Reggiano Parmesan Cheese, Prosciutto, and hard salami, all of which were amazing. For our main course, my guest had the Pappardelle, which he said was absolutely incredible. As for me, I was in heaven, having chosen the Butcher Block Prime grilled Pork Chop with hot Italian Cherry Peppers. I have had a version of this dish at numerous Italian restaurants throughout the nation and this was truly the best I have eaten! I shall return, as there are a bevy of other menu items I want to try, including the "1 pond" Meatball and the Chicken Parm Pizza, both of which are meant to share. Returned from lunch and was impressed right from the gitgo. Beautiful inside, sat at the M bar, one of two bars (one being an oyster bar). Bartenders were happy and friendly . The wine was a bit pricey, the pours were rather small. Ordered grilled artichokes and what looked to be a 12-14 oz giant meatball, similar to Trentos but more tastier. The food was rather good, portions were more than fair and prices were modest. The main M bar could use a reconfiguration as the liquor bottles were set on a black rubber mat.Should look a bit more presentable. Music could be turned down a notch as it was difficult to hear the bartenders food and drink suggestions. All in all, this restaurant was impressive on Day 1, and certain to improve as time goes on. read more

Our waiter was wonderful, the drinks were good, appetizers great, entrees, that's a different story.....I had the pasta in the cheese wheel that had no cheese flavor, it tasted like olive oil and a torch burner, very disappointed and I had shrimp instead of lobster that the shrimp tasted fishy, never again my friend got the chicken parm, it was ok, nice proportion but the sauce tasted raw. The pork chop was great, as was the prime steak. Desserts were good, coffee was too strong. Would go back just for drinks and appetizers not for the food. read more

We have the octopus, chicken parm pizza, and bat platter for appetizers. All were very good. I had the filet mignon for dinner and it was amazing. Cooked to a perfect medium rare. Shared the dessert tasting with a co-worker and each item on it was delicious. This place is a beautiful scene. The room is enormous and very impressive and the service is fantastic but the food just OK. Huge meatball was pretty good but it was just a meatball. The Branzino and swordfish were cooked on point but small, the Osso buco was bland and the steak pizzaiola thin and ok. The desert tasting was off the hook and ridiculously good and french press coffee was nice touch. Will I go back? Maybe, but not anytime soon, really not my scene.
