Great esthetically pleasing modern atmosphere at this local restaurant with good selection of food and drinks. Was pleasantly surprised by the food and service was awesome! Jay, our server recommended this Belgium ale Delirium which was crisp and refreshing! Highly recommend the Beet bowl and Thai calamari. Fish and chips were ok. Hope to be back to try some other food items!

The staff seemed nice when we came in, and the place definitely has a local spot vibe. Also, really cute decor. If you don't already know about it, you could easily miss it since it's tucked in what looks like a strip mall. The food overall was just okay. I had to ask for replacement utensils because mine had stains, and my plate had some spots that looked like more than just dishwasher watermarks, which was not the best first impression. We all tried different things, but no one at the table seemed blown away. One friend ordered a medium rare burger and got well done, another asked for well done and it came out burnt. The shrimp tacos were described as "just okay." I got the fish and chips and though they were edible, they were not well seasoned. It honestly tasted like the fish was just battered and fried without much flavor. On the bright side, they give a huge portion of truffle fries, which everyone seemed to like, (I didn't try them), and I did enjoy the lychee mocktail because that was really good. I'm not in Long Island too often, but if I were back in the area, I'd probably try other spots on my list before circling back here.

Wow what an amazing place! The ambiance and decor is beautiful and unique! The service is perfect. The food is SO delicious! I've had everything from brunch (pancakes, egg tacos and bagel lox yum!) The lunch and dinner I've had includes the bang bang shrimp! (Much better than toku!), pad Thai calamari is so scrumptious and fresh with a delicious sauce. Ceasar salad with perfectly grilled shrimp, lava cake, poutine, everything is so good! Perfect for a date spot or family get together! Also great to have a spot at the bar with a beautiful cocktail . Don't hesitate!

I am honestly impressed. From food, to decor, to drinks, and service--everything was great. I went with another couple and we ordered a bunch of appetizers. Everything was fresh, made to order. My favorites were the calamari and shrimp. Owners were welcoming and accommodating as well. I will definitely be back!

I have wanted to come here for some time after noticing it and am sorry it took this long. Went for happy hour and had Jay as our bartender. He was amazing and made great drinks, you can tell he cares a lot about how he makes them. They have a great menu and a lot of options. We tried a number of things from oysters, mussels, calamari and poutine. Everything was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced on happy hour. Will definitely be back as it's a great local spot

Came by for happy hour and got oysters, a flatbread and a cocktail. The bartender Jay was very nice and made an absolutely fantastic mule. The restaurant was cozy and perfect for date night. Will definitely be returning.

Ok this place is unassuming- it's tucked away in a strip mall - you have to really look for it otherwise you wouldn't know it's there - but once inside it's decorated beautifully and very welcoming - there's art on the wall, pretty light fixtures and a welcoming bar. We arrived for happy hour / it was pretty empty -2 folks at the bar and a table with a couple. We sat at the bar and the staff was very attentive and informative with the menu items and drinks. The wine I wanted wasn't available and they offered a Tasting to make sure I liked the alternative- the bartender was very knowledgeable about the drinks and made great suggestions - we ordered fish tacos, poutine, meatball, margherita flatbread all were amazing . I saw another review mentioning Jay the bartender and have to agree his customer service and people skills are top notch - we really enjoyed hanging out talking to him

Then, we didn't see our waitress for a long time until we finally asked the water guy to ask her to stop by. Which took a while again. We ordered more drinks. My son's soda was flat and my old fashioned tasted like it had a bite like rye vs bourbon, but I ignored it and drank it. About halfway through it changed to sweet - but so sweet it was like drinking syrup. It was never stirred so the bottom half was undrinkable. We asked for our waitress to get the check, and asked her to remove the flat soda and my old fashioned. She brought the check, nothing was removed. I explained again and asked the drinks to be removed. Next the bar manager came to our table. She explained to me how old fashioneds are made, that they're never stirred. And some people sip them, some drink them with a straw. I've drank old fashioneds for many years. They are always stirred. And never drank with a straw. But she claimed she's made these for years. Someone else came and told us she could take off the soda but not the old fashioned. I said I only drank half as they took it away. Well they won't take it off. So I asked for half my drink back if I have to pay for it. They gave me a new small drink. It was terrible. We paid the check, tipped the waitress in cash (she did nothing wrong other than being too busy). I cannot get over the bar manager speaking to me that way. We will not be back.

The night was bingo night but that aside we had a good time. You can eat both inside and outside. The outside offers seating in front and back. I'm a big outdoor seating person so we ate outdoors. For the most part, everyone enjoyed their dinner. The hamburgers were good. The fried pickles were good, if you like those. The Parmesan fries were also popular, but not my thing. What caught my eye was the berry goat cheese salad. Mixed greens, berries, caramel pecans, goat cheese, and their red vinaigrette was excellent. I thought I'd throw some protein on there so added the steak. The steak was not very good so I ended up eating very little of it. Not quite sure what the taste was that the steak was giving off but not something to my liking. Otherwise, this is a terrific salad. The vegetables refresh, they gave you a ton of variety of berries, and the overall size was terrific.

You can risk parking on the main road, but there are parking lots nearby that are much more convenient. The speakeasy style vibe is very cool and the open bar/kitchen is fun to watch the guys behind it work their magic. Staff were friendly and very helpful, but my one qualm was that our server opted to try and just remember our order by heart rather than writing it down, everything came out right, but he did have to confirm with us that he had the order right. Starting with cocktails, which I think is where this place really shines, I got the pistachio martini and their signature old fashioned. On top of just how pretty the drinks are, they match it with the quality. The old fashioned is one of the better ones I've had and was my favorite of the two, but I'm not sure you can go wrong with any choice on their list! Then for food, we started with the blackened scallops and the pork belly empanadas. Both were tasty but the empanadas were my personal favorite of the two. The scallops felt a little over seasoned, but obviously not to the point of being inedible. For mains, I got the lamb meatballs, and I tried a bit of my girlfriend's steak sandwich. The meatballs and sauce were just as good as any Italian place I've been to and perfect serving size. The steak sandwich though was served on THE softest ciabatta I've ever tasted but still held together well and made for an excellent, albeit huge, sandwich. I think she beat me out by just a hair on this one. I had really wanted to get their grilled cheese and tomato soup, but they had just run out, but I think they were just coming up with an elaborate ruse to get me to come back! Well, it's working, because I will absolutely comeback for more cocktails and that grilled cheese! We sat at the very last table in the restaurant, and this raises my only other concern, when the kitchen doors would swing open, you would get a quick smell of that garbage kind of smell which was a little off putting, but it wasn't constant enough where we were bothered to be asked to move our table, but food for thought. Surfing up just a few small things could easily have this place up to 5 stars from 4.
