You can tell from the moment you meet them that they are genuinely passionate about giving couples the best experience possible, and that passion shows in every single shot. We first had them at our engagement shoot, and my husband and I are completely hopeless when it comes to posing LOL. But Janice and Edwin were so patient and wonderful at directing us while making us feel completely comfortable. When we saw the results, we were thrilled and we couldn't wait to have them there on our wedding day :) Leading up to the wedding, they had a call with us to go over the timeline and were so accommodating about our location shots and making sure everything I wanted captured was planned out. My bridal makeup ran a little behind schedule, but they handled it so gracefully and were able to get all the getting-ready and bridal shots we needed while making sure we never once felt rushed or stressed. Throughout the day, they went above and beyond in ways I didn't even expect, like fixing hair and outfits that were slightly out of place, making sure photos were balanced, and capturing extra poses to make sure everything looked perfect. They made everyone in our wedding party feel so comfortable and at ease. During the reception, so many guests came up to the sweetheart table to take photos. Family portraits were already on the timeline, but so many additional families who weren't even on the photo list came up wanting to be captured, and Janice and Edwin were so gracious and kept going to make sure everyone was included. That kind of warmth and flexibility is truly rare. While their contract had a set window of time, they came early and stayed late because they genuinely wanted to make sure all of our big moments were captured. What also made them extra special was that they speak both Cantonese and English, which made our guests feel so comfortable and included throughout the entire day. This is a long overdue review but... One and Only Production is the best for your engagement or wedding photos! They also do video too! Janice and Edwin were so easy to work with and were always prompt with email or text responses. My husband and I stumbled upon them because we saw they were tagged in a photo they took at our wedding venue. We thought since they already had experience at that location, we should go with them. We took a look at their Instagram and website and liked how their portfolio looked. We didn't need to shop around and proceeded to book them for our wedding! We chose their photography and videography package. They exceeded our expectations. The photos they capture are so beautiful and we love that they are so professional while also being personable. We first did an engagement shoot. My husband and I are not that great at posing so it was so helpful when Janice and Edwin would give us pointers or they would literally pose themselves to show us how to pose! They really made us feel comfortable. When we saw the results of the engagement photoshoot, we were confident in them for our wedding day. On our wedding day, we chose to take family photos/bride&groom photos at the Noguchi Garden based on Janice and Edwin's suggestion. We didn't know many aesthetic locations to have nice photos so they provided ideas. (Loved how those photos turned out btw!) Our timeline was super packed but Janice, Edwin, and Aronne were such troopers. Our guest count was a little under 320 guests but they were able to take photos and videos of almost everyone. They also set up video cameras around the banquet hall to capture candid moments. Janice and Edwin also paid attention to the little details like fixing my strands of hair or making sure to capture extra bride/groom poses in between events. They followed us everywhere that day taking photos and videos and we saw they were working so hard! I'm sure they were so tired towards the end of the night, but they still kept their energy up! Afterwards, Janice and Edwin kept following up with us on what photos were completed and timelines of the highlight video. I found O&O through a facebook group and loved their photography style! After meeting with them, knew I wanted to move forward. We first did an engagement shoot with them at Greystone Mansion and they did an amazing job with those photos. The weather was nice and it wasn't too crowded as well, but they were able to frame shots and clear people so that it looked like we had the place to ourselves! We were also running a bit late to the appointment but they kindly waited for us and stayed after to make sure we had a full session (and went over as well). They got the shots back to us in a few days and they were all stunning! For our wedding, they also came to our final details meeting to walk through the space beforehand and scope out spots, as well as met with us virtually to discuss what we wanted and look at inspiration together. Janice did a great job of trying to recreate and capture looks from the inspiration! They came early to do flat lay shots, then we went out and did our first look and couple portraits. Then were family portraits and the ceremony. Throughout the night they also pulled us aside for various couple shoots, which some of those ended up being our favorite pictures. All of our guests were really impressed with their professionalism and ease to work with, they made everyone comfortable and also loved the photos and videos they took. After, they edited and delivered the photos very quickly (I believe in a week or two), and when we asked for additional images they were very accommodating and kindly sent those as well, even though it was not in their typical services. They also sent a hard drive with all the photos and videos to us with a cute polaroid in it of one of our favorite photos! My wife and I went with One and Only to do our engagement photography and our wedding day photography/videography. For our engagement photos, Janice and Edwin recommended a beautiful spot in Rancho Palos Verdes and met us there around "golden hour". We love our engagement photos, and we were able to use them for our save the dates and our wedding day welcome signs/photo board/slide show. On our wedding day, Janice and Edwin followed us around for over 12 hours to capture our big day, and they were so professional, patient, and diligent with making sure they captured all of the moments. Edwin was super helpful and patient and spent an hour on the phone with us giving us really good advices for our wedding regardless of whether we were going to go with them. They were also very accommodating and gave us a smaller package so it can fit within our budget. When we were hesitating about the camera angles from his previous work, he had another phone call with me just to explain and ensure he can accommodate to what we need. From then to the day of our wedding, Edwin checked in with us and gave us vendor recommendations and helpful tips. He wanted to make sure he has all the information like floor plan and timeline to make sure he captures everything. On the day of our wedding, Edwin came early to set up and stayed longer than needed. He was very professional and accommodating. The turn around time was super fast too! Among the dozens if not hundreds of decisions we made on vendors for our wedding day, I cannot think of one that I'm happier about. We worked with Janice and Edwin for both photo and video for our wedding and boy did they deliver. Put simply, we worked with Janie and Edwin over a Saturday-Sunday wedding and by the end of the weekend it truly felt like they were longtime friends. I'll start with Janice as she was in charge of photography. Janice was always in the right place at the right time, and this wasn't a coincidence. The prep work Janice did to capture the perfect shot included: reviewing details of our timeline, arriving at our venue the day before to scout out the best angles and where the sun would be, and watching a video of our first dance to capture the most dramatic moments. Truthfully I don't have much experience as a photographer, so I'm sure that list is much longer. Edwin was our videographer for the weekend, but he had so many jobs beyond that. My fiance and I had the pleasure of shooting our engagement photos with Janice and Edwin. My husband and I got married last November and my wedding planning journey started almost 10 months before that. I went to a handful of bridal shows and visited many video / photo shops.
