I love the concept of bagels being made from wheat on-site with lots of care and craft around where their ingredients come from! However, these definitely do not taste as good as NY bagels (which I've read in some reviews) as they're 1) smaller, 2) less moist & chewy, and 3) less dense. What makes these bagels special is that they all have more of a "whole wheat" bagel, but nothing else really stands out to me. If someone gave these to me without giving me any context as to where they were from, I don't think I would have noticed anything special. I have been enjoying One Mighty Mill bagels from local Whole Foods stores for the last few months. They are absolutely wonderful. So this Sunday morning I thought that driving to One Mighty Mill location in Lynn for freshly made hot from the oven bagels would be fun. Big mistake. Got there and ordered half a dozen bagels. They are priced at almost two dollars each or half dozen for ten dollars. You would expect they would be absolutely superb bagels as they are very expensive. What I got was hard as rock, tasteless, dry and stale mess. It is nothing even remotely close to the One Mighty Mill wheat bagels sold at Whole Foods. When I complained I was told by a very rude manager, Tony, that I don't know what a bagel should taste like and should not come back into One Mighty Mill location. Completely clueless! They need to visit New York and educate themselves what is a bagel is and how actually it supposed to taste. Get a clue! Try bagels from New York's Zabars or Russ & Daughters. One Mighty Mill should be ashamed for serving such bad and stale bagels. You can break teeth trying to bite into their bagels. If bagels were not baked today they should of disposed them instead of selling them to customers. Very disappointing! read more

The food here is amazing! Especially enjoy their bagels, (the special bagels are seasonally the BEST)! The quesadillas are perfect for a light lunch. Their flour can't be beat...so healthy, milled right there in Lynn and sourced from particular organic farms. Their customer relationships are second to none. Only wish they offered decaf coffee. Some people love the flavor of coffee but cannot have the caffeine. I know theres a decaf coffee out there that would fit your particularity. What a great place to get fabulous bagels! Perfect way to have a casual breakfast on the weekend before running errands or grabbing a fresh bagel in the way to work. Clean but small eating area where you can watch the bagels being made, and locally roasted coffee too. All the ingredients on the bagel sandwich's are fresh and the staff is wonderfully friendly. Their biscotti is out of this world...I love the fact that everything is homemade no high fructose corn syrup, everything is made from scratch, the atmosphere is wonderful even though I didn't stay. I would give zero stars if I could. This place is absolutely ridiculous. The owner has a table that is sitting right in front of the door. You barely have room to move when ordering. When I asked the owner why the table was so close to the door he said "you know there is a pandemic right". He then asked me to wait outside while other customers sat inside for their food. Worst experience in service and management. When I walked in there is a small table by the door and a wide open area to the right heading towards the bagels. I did not notice a sign to stop but the manager made it his point to make it clear what needed to be done with an unprofessional attitude. As I stepped back and asked do you have cream cheese his reply was right there in the menu, plain and chive again with an unprofessional attitude. I asked for an everything bagel toasted on a plate with chive and two to go with avocado spread. The woman looked at me like I had 3 heads. I repeated the order and still nothing, I turn to the manager who was still having a bad day who gave me another attitude. Saying what I requested is what they served. Long story short I did not get the bagel on a plate was yelled at by the manager saying I was problematic and ruined his day for an $11 dollar order and this horrible customer gave a 2 dollar tip. (Part of which they never gave me my change either) he was not walking downstairs to get a plate for us. The order came out wrong, bagel was also plain and not everything. I had my pregnant daughter in the car trying to turn a bad morning around by getting breakfast but his unprofessionalism just put more fuel on the fire. I don't know what is hard or problematic about a bagel toasted on a plate with both sides having cream cheese. I am pretty sure the reviews for 5 stars are written by friends or his staff. Where do I begin? Best bagels in mass. Period. Only rival would maybe be bagel world, but you have wait a solid 30-98 minutes at bagel world and nobody has time for that. One mighty mill has amazing bagel, sandwiches, coffee, bagel spreads, snacks, and more. I go here at least 2x/week and it is my go to spot for breakfast and coffee in the Morning. The best part? Outstandingly cute and delicious bagel shop. This gem is located in downtown Lynn and uses only non gmo wheat sourced from farmers in Maine. I had a chili and cheddar bagel (out-frikken-standing) with smoked salmon, red onions, tomato and chive cream cheese. The bagel taste was not overpowered by the sandwich and the chili was very present (soooo good). My wife had a dark chocolate bagel with smashed avacado. The chocolate flavor was present but far from overpowering and went great with the very generous portion of avacado. One mighty mill is the type of business I am very happy to support. A local business that offers a healthy, delicious product. Definitely worth the 30 min drive and I will be a regular here from now on. They sell pizza dough, tortillas, cookie dough to take home. I have been coming here nearly every weekend since it has opened. The bagels are pricey, but the best around using locally sourced ingredients. Going in this weekend, I learned the bagels are now $10 for a half dozen. Are you kidding me? I understand food and labor costs have gone up, but we are talking about a shop in downtown Lynn. Revolution Pie & Pint didn't last long probably due the fact that they didn't understand the demographics of the neighborhood. $11 or $12 for a half dozen chicken wings in downtown Lynn and pricey pizzas with so many alternatives in the area. I probably will start going back to Newman's Bakery in Swampscott for authentic Kosher bagels or even Bagel World where a half dozen can be purchased for about half the price of OMM. Market Basket has 4 packs of Finagle A Bagel for $2 on sale a couple of times a month. I pity the people who don't live in Lynn and don't get a 15% discount. OMM has good products and pleasant workers but don't price yourself out into oblivion like so many of the newer restaurants and coffee shops. The entire fam loved the bagels and the cream cheese was creamy and probably the best cream cheese I've ever had. I felt bad cheating on bagel world, but not that bad! Was good, I made my own bagel and egg sandwich online and picked it up, was hot and ready when i got there. Loved the caramelized onions. I do wish we had an option to change the wheat bagel, maybe there was one and i didn't pay attention? I did try to add avocado but they put their avocado spread. There were 2 options for this, i was expecting to get slices of avocado but i was still satisfied. Just a tip for anyone ordering online. Either way, pretty good. read more
