We came here for the lunch specials sat down, and when we received our food, we realized that the portions were enormous. I had the pepper chicken lunch special. My son had the broccoli beef lunch special and my mom had the cashew chicken lunch special. We didn't take pictures of all the mails, but the taste is absolutely delicious. The portions were too big. Is that even a thing? I ordered the combo fried rice, thinking we were going to need more food, but I was wrong. So we'll take it to go. The staff is lovely. Very responsive. I highly recommend the jasmine tea. It has a very good flavor. The music is modern and not so loud that you can't hear yourself talking, but not so quiet that you can't hear the music perfect volume. If you park in the parking lot before you come inside, there's a god-awful noise coming from some machine I think on the roof I don't know, it was annoying, but you cannot hear it inside the restaurant. The parking lot itself could use some maintenance, but I don't think that's the business owner's responsibility. I think that's the landlord's responsibility. All things considered I give this place a 9.5 out of 10. 0.5 point reduction for plastic spoon. I was worried that our meals were going to come with picnic wear because that was served with the soup, but our entrées came with silverware and of course I asked for chopsticks and I received them. It's really hard to find, especially at night... and once you get in there you'll realize it's not much but you came to the right spot. Since they reopened we had not tried it, the previous menu was delishhhhh iykyk. That said, we decided to try again and although it's slightly different the flavor is still very good! We LOVED the cucumber salad. We got kung pao shrimp, combo and shrimp chow mein, wontons in chili oil (super spicy) and salt and pepper shrimp. And Jasmine Green tea which was iced and yummy, slightly sweet. The service was very nice and attentive. I would come back and support the new owners! 10/10 read more

If you're very picky about location and things being brand new then this isn't the place for you, but I would urge you to get over it and check it out anyway. That being said we have been here 5 years and venture into many questionable looking neighborhoods for what are always the best restaurants, and regardless of how the neighborhood looks, no one is going to bother you. Also we moved here from the east coast so, the area is definitely no bother to us. The inside of the restaurant is older, but very clean. I thought the decor was cool. Old style round booths and a mirror wall. They have some authentic dishes and some things to cater to more American taste. We got the fried shrimp appetizer, it was simple and good. Nice crispy fry and nice plump butterfly shrimp. We also got the char siu, which was delicious and perfectly roasted with nice fatty bits on the pork that melted in your mouth like butter. I had the wonton noodle soup, and my husband had the kung pao chicken. The food came out piping hot and cooked very well. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Oh, and we also had the pork buns. Those were really good as well. I wanted the beef roll, but it was sold out. I was sad about that but it's a reason to come back. It's hard to find places that offer that on the menu so I'm not surprised that it was sold out for the day. Thai tea was nicely spiced and they add boba if you like. They even have a cute little reward card for stamps for frequent visits. We left full, with leftovers, and we will be back. One review I read mentioned it's hard to find. It's not. There's a large sign out front and an iron gate/fence around it. You can't miss it.
