We love bulgogi from a national chain so we wanted to give this place a try. It's all self service. There were two people in the kitchen that never even acknowledged our presence. There's space for tip request but if it's all self service then why even ask? We dined in and the place lacks any ambiance and is crammed with tables and chairs because there refrigerators in the dining room. The dine in food is served in to go boxes. The chopsticks are cheap and gives you splinters. The bulgogi was bland and the veggies lacked freshness. The Bibimbap was just a mushy rice dish and lacked any crispy rice notes the way authentic Bap is traditionally served. read more

Do yourself a favor and order a Korean burrito. As you can see from my picture, it is bigger than my hand. It was packed with flavor. About halfway through it, the tortilla fell apart. I just plowed on ahead with a fork. The bean sprouts had an excellent flavor! It was supposed to be spicy but it wasn't. The kimchi pancake was tasty but REALLY oily. It was the size of a small pizza. I would still order this again. It had crispy edges which I lov The wings are legit! Although advertised as spicy, they weren't. The food here is delicious! Very fresh and flavorful. I ordered a chicken bowl, beef bulgogi bowl, and the wings with sweet and spicy sauce. Everything was very good but the wings were out of this world. They were still crunchy with the sauce on it. The place looked very clean and you order at a kiosk. I only gave 4 stars because the service was not that great. I am guessing because there is a kiosk to order that they don't expect customers to have questions about the menu. I'm Korean and this is the best bibimbap I've had in the Denver area. I got the San Chae Bibimbap which focuses on Korean mountain vegetables (they sell it this way in Korea too). The bulgogi was a little sweet but tasty and most people probably like it this way. I wish there was one in Denver. Try it!! read more

Lately, I have been coming to this location quite frequently and it's about time I write another update. We all know the price of gas and anything we consume has gone up drastically. Trying to keep up with the sky rocketing goods are very tough. For restaurants, either cut down on the quality or raise prices and this restaurant has taken the latter option. My favorite is kimchee jigae and soon tofu soup. They were $13.95 a month ago but today's price was at $14.95 The same for bulgogi bibimbop on hot stone pot. $16.99 If you are dining in or to go, cheapest option is to walk in and order. For example, if you do Grub Hub carry out, you will be paying $1.50 more for jigae. For bulgogi hot stone pot, you will be paying $21.98. Whopping $5 more. read more

Incredible Korean fast food, however the owner seemingly does not want disabled customers. This car was parked here during our entire 1 hr visit today. I was hoping it was not the owners, and that maybe it was idling during an unload or emergency #2. Unfortunately it was here the entire time we were and the employees knew it was there and the owner's. My son is very small and light so I was able to navigate his wheelchair around the car, a larger person would have been blocked. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I'm never disappointed! If for some reason something is wrong, they fix it right away for me, no extra charge! The food is so good, so filling and so healthy! I usually order take out, which they are always on time with, because I work long hours and this really fuels me up! The staff are very nice! This is one of my go-to places for food during the week! I came for lunch. I got the Chicken Wings with special spicy preparation. Nice and sticky. Great crunchy texture and tasty chicken for $15.95. My 2nd item was the Kimbop with shrimp tempura. A large roll of veggies, rice, shrimp wrapped in seaweed for only $11.45. I added a Pure Leaf sweet tea and tipped 15%. You order via the in-store kiosk and pay contactless. The food here was pretty good. I loved the spam kimbap and would definitely come back and get it in the future. The price point for the amount of food we got was pretty good. I ordered the kimchi jjigae and it was okay, there are definitely better spots to have it in the area, though. One of my family members ordered the spicy creamy buldak noodles and loved it. It wasn't super spicy, but it had lots of chicken, so we thought it was an incredibly filling meal for the price point. The only thing is that the service is a bit slow. I came here on a weekday, so I'm not sure if it's any different on other days but it seemed like they only had one or two cooks working the kitchen and we had to wait around 30 minutes to get our food. I still think it was worth the wait, though, so I will definitely be coming back in the future. read more

DO NOT GO HERE - They charged my card without my permission! I placed an order online on Christmas day ( the Google listing said open, the website didn't say they were closed, the ordering part of their website was not blocked). An email went through that said the order hadn't been confirmed yet but the order was sent to the restaurant, so we swung by the store anyway only to find it closed. No problem, it's Christmas, it was a long shot anyways... until the next day at 1115 when they made my order (that was placed 18 hours earlier) and said that I had to come pick up my order. When I explained that I had no way of canceling the order yesterday, by way of website or calling, the owner Tommy said oh well I won't refund you because I already made the food. When I asked him why he made food that was ordered yesterday he hung up on me. I called back, tried to reason with him only to be hung up on again. I will be reporting this business to the BBB, and fraud on my card. Horrible way to deal with customers. read more

Let me begin by saying that I'm glad Colorado is getting more Korean spots and I do love supporting small businesses. I think Bop & Gogi is super smart. They do traditional Korean food, street food and a little bit of fusion. This is homestyle Korean cooking but with a modern twist. When you walk in you can order via kiosk and then when your order is ready they'll either call your food item or your ticket item. I got the chapagetti which is my favorite instant ramen dish. They added veggies and meat as well as a hard boiled egg. It tasted pretty good and I had no complaints. Other members of the party got some stews and soups and they all looked good. One of the things I would like to see in the future is more vegetarian options. There were few and far between and very limited. This is just me being a little boujee but if I could change one thing is the egg. A hard boiled egg is nice, but a soft boiled egg goes a really long way. Price wise, I thought it was slightly over priced considering a lot off the soups come from instant ramen but I also really appreciate the aspect that this is fast casual Korean and they have a little bit of something for everyone. read more

What an awesome culinary discovery! My friends and I had just finished a photoshoot, and one of them found this Korean spot in a nearby plaza. We walked in since it was easier than calling for takeout. That friend went to the cash register to order, while the other person and I used the kiosk near the entrance. I just really like using these types of things... My eyes widened as I scrolled down the extensive menu of options, and I got super excited. I hadn't had Korean food in forever! I got the Pork Belly San Chae Bibimbap and Spam Kim Bap with a side of kimchi. Definitely grab several napkins on your way out because it turned out to be a messier eating experience than I thought. Both dishes were so good and an intense amount of food. I had more than enough for dinner that evening. The leftovers kept and was enhanced by kimchi. The prices here are reasonable, and it's a bit dangerous that it's so close to my dance studio... I'll be coming here much more often. Been to Bop & Gogi twice and liked it both times. It's a cute little place in a strip center. You order at a kiosk, an excellent defense mechanism against the fact that none of the employees seem to speak English. I've had the hot bowl biminbop (I believe) both times, and it was fine both times -- tasty, and comes out relatively quickly. They call the number on your receipt and you come pick it up. Be aware that you may be expected to self-serve some of the things you order from a nearby fridge. I didn't realize this when I ordered kimchi on my second visit, and finally went and took it from the fridge. THEN I was told (via pantomime) that I should have taken the smaller one. Oh well. I also bought a Pepsi not noticing that they were out and I was taking from the fridge a Pepsi Zero Sugar, a drink regarding which I would rather have my liver removed through my navel with a vise grip than consume. Still, I toughed it out, and could feel virtuous about the zero calories I consumed. Price is right, service is friendly, and I've enjoyed the food. Compared to Chilgogi nearby, Bop & Gogi had more options, from ramen, kimbop, mandu, rice cakes, noodles, soups, bibimbop and wider variety of set meals, and adhered more to traditional Korean casual foods. Although the meals were not as elaborate as the Korean restaurants on South Havana with a tableful of appetizers, but the foods here were surprisingly tasty and authentic. I ordered the Soon Tofu Soup. I'm happy the broth wasn't beef-based (I don't eat beef), as it was seafood based. I didn't realize that the soup also had seafood in it, which I didn't really care for and it made the soup a little too fishy for me. It was a large portion and I couldn't even finish it all. It was pretty good, but unfortunately not exactly what I was craving. I was hoping they had a mushroom soon dubu soup with a raw egg that you could crack it in. Even though I live nearby, I had never been to Bop and Gogi. I am not very familiar with Korean food so I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I chose the lunch special Galbi (pork ribs) which was served on rice with a house salad, japchae noodles and Korean bean sprouts. The Galbi was absolutely delicious and had a slight kick from the house made Gochujang (spicy sweet red pepper) sauce. They were the perfect combination of sweetness and a little heat with sesame seeds sprinkled on top. The sides were really good too - and I could see myself ordering a giant bowl of the stir fried glass, japchae noodles. They are the perfect side for the Galbi because of the savory/sweet combination taste. My friend had the Bibimbop and loved it. The portions are large and the staff seemed friendly and helpful. There is some outside seating in a very small courtyard next to the restaurant and a few tables inside, as well as a lot of counter seating. read more

I had my second visit today. The first one was outstanding. I had wings both times. My first visit I expressed to my daughter it was the best wings I had ever had and could not wait to return. Much to my dismay the wings were burned.. literally burned and dried out. I ended up throwing them away. There is no service to speak of. There is a language barrier. Bibimbop was pretty good! The Bad: The ginger was sooo salty, it was inedible. The kimchi was VERY salty and sooo sour, it hurt to eat. The Kimbop we got was made with bulgogi and was dry and very sweet. Drinks are beyond expensive, like airport pricing. Wow... the hot stone was amazing! The sizzling noise was so satisfying along with all of the veggies, meat, and flavors in my mouth. I could eat this hot stone bowl everyday! You can choose your choice of meat and sauce, and the veggies are shredded carrots, red cabbage, zucchini, and bean sprouts topped with an egg. The rice at the bottom of the hot stone, gets crispy, and I love that! If you don't like crispy rice, keep mixing so it doesn't sit too long cooking. My husband had the spicy seafood noodle, and he enjoyed it very much. Ate everything and drank all the broth. The broth was not spicy but it depends on your spicy tastebuds. They had a really cool big kiosk you can order from... has pictures and great descriptions of the menu. I'm happy I finally tried this place! Will be returning soon again and again. Well that hit the spot! We ordered through door dash, delivery right to the hotel room door, food hot and it was delicious! We got the goyzas and Jap-chae hoping our son would try and eat one. He ate the goyzas and my egg. I ate the noodles the next day. He's 2.5 and a douche like that. My ramen was the kokomen and hubby had the regular mild. Even though this place seems like a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, it seems places like this are hidden gems. I came here with my friend to have some post-exam food and indulgence and this place did not disappoint. The prices for the meals tended to range from $10 to $20 which was kind of steep. However, it is definitely arguable that the taste and portions of the food support the price. I got the Al bibimbap which is contains a bed of rice and fish roe (eggs) and various vegetables on top with a side of spicy/sweet sauce. Without the sauce, the entree was a mix of tropical and sushi flavors. However the sauce made it so much better enhancing the tropical flavors with a tiny kick of spiciness. My friend got the Sam Chae Bibimbap ($17) which was was similar to the former bibimbap but with chicken, vegetables and an egg to top it off. It tasted like teriyaki and did not stand out from other teriyaki entrees in other restaurants. However, it is still definitely tasty! In regards to the atmosphere, many of the tables were not cleaned and could easily deter customers from coming in. There were some crumbs and dried sauce on our table. There is really weird vibe around the restaurant. The owners, especially the older people, do not provide any greeting or service, whether you come in or leave. It seems like they simply don't care and bring food for the money. Last week, vegetables in bibimbap tasted a little weird and old, too, and now I don't trust their food. When you eventually learn people who cook for you do not care about you, you won't expect their food to be the best. So so weird. read more
