They damaged the new flooring when moving the furniture and also damaged the furniture itself. They were not careful at all when moving large objects and did not disclose hidden fees. I have used this moving company twice and both times they have broken my items. The first time one of Gabriel's employees dropped a full set of brand new dishes in front of me in my parking garage and he tried to blame the box falling out. They also broke a tv and other items and took way over their estimated time which I was reimbursed for. I had to move again recently and hired them again hoping for a better experience. Gabriel told me 3 different times he would come by to do an estimate and told me to rent a 15 foot uhaul since he had previously moved me and my stuff fit into an 18 foot truck (his truck) with space leftover. Well he never came and sure enough on moving day 3/4 of the way through the day and several hours past when they were supposed to finish, he told me my stuff might not fit. Now this is moving day where I was moving states so I had no room for error. I cannot begin to tell you the stress of not knowing until all my things are outside with 5 of his workers pacing around trying to figure out how to stuff my things into the truck that they had packed. He let me know at the end that they had unpacked boxes and stuffed clothes into my brand new Ikea pantry cabinet which arrived broken beyond use in Texas. He also had his guys take apart my $3,000 Specialized rode bike which had to be majorly repaired. His guys were unprofessional and drank almost all of my son's lunch drinks without permission. I did not know the damage until I arrived to Texas and my movers here unloaded the truck. The $200 cabinet is so damaged we feared it would fall on my son so it had to be stored in the garage and so far the bike is $200 into repairs. They also made me run out to get moving supplies despite saying they had everything needed in advance. I paid $200 for boxes, tape, and blankets. On move in day I texted Gabriel pictures of the broken items expecting to be reimbursed as I was last time his movers broke my stuff carelessly but instead he didn't respond until the end of the week first saying he didn't get my messages, then saying I should have called, then saying he would reimburse me for the bike repairs but not the cabinet despite admitting his team stuffed it full of items and didn't wrap it, and finally that I should file a claim with his insurance as he's decided not to reimburse me. I also paid $85 for their lunch and tipped $300. His team well knew they were damaging my items as they are experienced movers. What excuse he has for not coming by to make sure I had ordered the right size truck, I'm not sure. I would not recommend this moving company if you want your items to survive the move. They do not come through for estimates, are careless, and will not reimburse you for broken items. I'm very disappointed and it saddens me to have to write this review. From start to finish, Everything Goes was great to work with! From my initial call with them, Gabe returned my voicemail right away (even though it was later in the evening). Gabe said he was in the area in two days and was able to meet with my wife to take a look at our place and get us an estimate. I procrastinated a good bit on trying to find a mover to help me move, so I used the handy dandy Yelp feature of requesting a quote from multiple movers. Everything Goes was one of the ones I happened to send the quote to and after reading all the different reviews on their page, I just felt like they'd be my best bet. I was not at all disappointed! Gabriel, the owner, worked with me on finding a move in time that worked with my schedule and even was flexible to bump up the originally requested time. The movers called me an hour ahead of when they'd be there (which was earlier than I expected, but no complaints) and were really efficient! I'd already moved and packed most of the items I could handle myself, so all they need to do was move my furniture and larger items. Even though there was a long walk at my apartment, they did not complain and took care of my stuff. They thoughtfully set up my new living room for me and helped me move things where I wanted. Definitely very happy with the services! It took less time than originally estimated to move, so it cost me less than I'd planned! No hidden fees, no charge for the long walk, and no charges for the materials used to move my furniture. I guess everything is baked into the hourly cost for the 2 movers. Gabriel was really easy to work with and his rate is competitive. He was really responsive when I had questions. The movers showed up on time and were professional. Red, Christian, and Ralph were fun to work with and made sure to ask about items as they moved them. UPDATE: My move was scheduled for 9am on Saturday 4/27. First 2 movers showed up at 830, the other 2 soon after. They introduced themselves and walked through the house with me and then got to work. Such nice guys.. we all totally clicked and they made my move a little more fun just with their personalities alone. The moving crew definitely knew what they were doing and didn't lag on doing it. They wrapped what needed to be wrapped, labeled bed frames for the correct rooms and beds and carefully loaded and unloaded ALL my stuff. They didn't hesitate to ask questions if needed and they didn't mind giving advice as to how my furniture should be arranged for the best possible fit. I don't want to ramble on with my update but I just want to say that this moving company is DEFINITELY the way to go. You absolutely won't be disappointed and super worth the $$. Let me start by saying that if I could give MORE than five stars I would. Everything about working with the Everything Goes team when perfectly. I was moving out of a large, 2-story, 4-bedroom house, and needed a relocation service that could move a complete household into a temporary storage facility. This included a an art collection of more than 30 framed/glassed paintings, photos and prints - in an assortment of sizes ranging from small to large (over 6'x4'). Gabriel came to the house to provide an estimate - which was extremely competitive - and agreed to break the job into two parts, over two days. Day 1 - packing the art, which required first wrapping them all in heavy paper and then packing/boxing them, many of which required custom crafted boxes. Day 2 - there was still some packing, and then moving out of the house and then into the storage facility. Everything went smoothly. ZERO breakage or damage to the house or to furniture/boxes moved. I was there throughout the entire process and watched the team; they worked steadily through both days, taking the time necessary to carefully pack and carry everything. I plan on using Everything Goes in the not too distant future to move my belongings out of storage and into a permanent location. These guys were AMAZING!!! I would give them 10 stars if that was possible. First of all, their response time was less than 10 minutes from the time I requested a quote. Secondly, when the guys arrived the very next day they were extremely cool and professional. They wrapped everything and came equipped with everything necessary (truck and all)! I first learned of Everything Goes and Gabriel when I saw a local news story. They volunteered their manpower and services to help bring much needed supplies and food to those affected by the recent wildfires in the north bay. I thought to myself that their good deed deserves recognition, and some business. My move was pretty simple. The movers wore masks but not gloves (they preferred to not wear gloves as they felt they would sweat too much and my items would slip while moving). This occurred during May 2020 so things were just starting to open up after COVID-19 quarantine. Just to be safe, the move was done contact-less. This can be difficult for something like moving but they were well-equipped and I felt very comfortable without any concerns. Highly recommend! This was a long overdue rating. We utilized Gabriel and his crew on January 29 of this year. My husband, Jerome, was the one who found them and stated that Gabriel was professional and easy to communicate with. On the move day, they were 15 minutes early probably to better assess how to better move items and gauge the length of time it would take. We barely were packed and ready. They practically did everything for us. They disassembled furnitures, wrapped furniture, put our hanged clothes in wardrobe box, helped us pack kitchen dishes and glass, and helped us pack remaining items in our apartment. They moved fast and efficiently while always maintaining professionalism. They drove from Santa Clara to Mountain House which is about an hour and 15 minute commute. When we arrived, they laid out carpet runners and protected corners of home. They carried furnitures into designated rooms safely and assembled them. Gabriel was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was prompt in giving a quote and I asked for a couple of days to confirm with my fiancé before we scheduled our move. He was extremely polite and understanding and when I called to schedule he got all the general information needed for the move.
