Definitely on the fancy side if you are looking to have drinks after work. More of a nice-lunch or dinner place. In fact, prior to tonight's tete-a-tete, I'd only been here for company events. The interior is dark leather, dark wood, and white tablecloths - so sit up straight and use your inside-voices! They do have a decent beer selection (And our server was able to rattle them off by heart! Hooray for her! Typically, when I ask what beers a places serves I get a lot of blank stares). Appetizers looked good, but tonight was more of a beverage-only event. Another fun tidbit - they have specials on Tuesday where a preselected alcohol is sampled (there is a pear margarita event in the near future with my name all over it!). I've gone to One North a few times for lunch, usually getting typical lunch food (sandwiches, salads, whatnot). It's been pretty good-- the burger is especially nice since it's topped with bacon, grilled onions, mushrooms and cheese. But, the prices are sort of steep for an everyday lunch, so even though it's a good burger, One North was only ranking 3 stars in my book. However, today I ventured out from the normal lunch and went big! Hazelnut crusted rainbow trout with rock shrimp on top of a corn-mushroom custard. Extra star for you One North! This was not your typical Loop lunch-- perfectly cooked, beautifully prepared, and the hazelnut cream sauce was so rich and decadent, I almost didn't order dessert. read more

The only thing better than open bar is crashing another open bar while you're in town. To be fair, I was forwarded on the Outlook invite, so it's all good! We headed to One North for a private event. The room we had was spacious and conducive to mingling. The cocktails served were strong, although some of the "specialty" cocktails were odd colors and concoctions. All of the bartenders were very pleasant. The selection of hors d'oeuvres was a bit disappointing, so most of us stuck to the open bar. The coat check was a bit haphazard, but thankfully all of my belongings were accounted for (my computer bag almost went MIA!). Unfortunately it was raining when we were visited and didn't get a chance to sit outside. However, the main dining space is very nice and modern. I had the Fish and Chips and it had to be the best I've ever had. The batter isn't heavy and the fish was light, flaky and tasty. One of my dining companions shared with us their Charred Brussels Sprouts. Let me just say they were RIDICULOUSLY delicious!!! For dessert, I had Creme Brulee and got to sample some of the Bread Pudding and Strawberry Gelato. All three were WONDERFUL! Service was good. The only complaint I had was that I asked for my leftovers to be put into a to go box and I never got that to go box. Overall, great visit and I can't wait to go again. read more

Everything about my experience at One North was just middle of the road. I came here with my team for a business lunch, and shortly after we arrived for our 11:30am reservation, the place had filled up completely. Since it was lunch we did salads, sandwiches, and burgers - and everything was just okay. The coleslaw was not great, the fries were a little overcooked, the bread on my roasted chicken sandwich was dry, ice tea/coke refills took a long time, etc. The server was perfectly friendly and the busboy was filling waters and clearing plates like a machine, but the visit was not memorable. I really thought the fish special sounded delicious, as did some of the fish dishes on the menu, but since it was lunch we weren't really up for big entrees. Pretty dcor, convenient location, I just expected more. Maybe I'll have to stop back for dinner after work to try the fish and a cocktail, but for lunch I am sticking by my three stars. read more

I think it's hilarious that I have virtually no money but ended up here to meet friends who have "real jobs" for drinks. I felt under-dressed the whole time but quickly rid myself of that notion by consuming more than my fair share of Grey Goose in a wonderful little cocktail called the Dirty Martini. Not original but yes, oh so good. To be serious, they were actually delicious and wonderfully poured. We ordered a couple of appetizers to ensure that we left if a somewhat reasonable state and while they were tasty I thought they were the product of really trying too hard. And far too expensive for what we actually got. High end Tater-tots? Really? I guess we ordered them but somehow I actually expected much more than actual tater tots served with a tomatillo-inspired dipping sauce. Perhaps I'm snooty in a "hey I'm a graduate student and I wear t-shirts almost 300 days a year" kind of way but I just thought this place took itself seriously too seriously. Loosen up a little. If you un-clench, it's more comfortable for everyone. But, I will reiterate that the martinis were actually wonderful. read more

I haven't posted in a while, but today's experience was too terrible not to share. Since I live in the Loop and my friend works down the street, we figured this would be a good venue to meet at for weekday dinner and drinks. Though we got to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather, that was the extent of what went well about this meal. First off, we were never greeted by any server. After five minutes of being seated, a waitress came up to us and asked, "are you ready to order?" No "hello," or recommendations offered. When I asked about certain items, she seemed unsure and seemed to speak poorly of the few menu options I inquired about. After she took our order, we never saw this waitress again. A food runner brought our dishes then a different waiter brought our bill much later (which was also incorrect). Had anyone checked in on us, I would've let them know how truly awful the dish was. The Mesa flatbread was essentially a cracker with some lettuce and sauce on top of it. There was no purée, only a few scattered beans (some of which were terribly crunchy, which was offputting). The entree was also cold and drinks were watered down. Overall, I'm very disappointed because I was hoping to find a new local favorite. Don't come here unless you're stuck in the Loop without any other options (which is never the case). On to the next one, I suppose. read more

Of the more upscale options in the Loop, One North is my favorite. Like RIvers and Lloyd's, they have a pretty straightforward menu. But everything here seems to be executed a bit better than those other spots. The One North space is relatively simple. Exposed brick, mahogany and a good-sized bar. I like the look when compared to other similar restaurants. One North is owned by Restaurants America, whose spots are typically simple but modern and I like how they all look. One North also has a nice, large outdoor seating area. On the menu, the salads are good, the risotto is excellent and the sandwich selection at lunch is great. The slow-roasted chicken sandwich is my favorite. I have had a few of the fish entrees that are good, as well. So while they may not do anything outside the box, One North has a solid menu and executes it well. And I have always had fun there when having a few after-work drinks. read more

I can't speak to the regular menu, but we had a group function here a few weeks back. Lateef was really good to work with and he was quick on his responses. Which is helpful when you're doing a last minute work function like we were. Our food was from the catered menu which consisted of a variety of sliders, flat bread pizzas, bruschetta, and vegetable crudite. We also had an open bar and the food we ordered lasted throughout the whole function which was nice. (Worst thing ever to run out of food prematurely at an event like this.) Servers were really attentive and probably worked overtime a bit since we were standing around and moving from one table to the next chatting it up. We got the backside of their restaurant which had been made private with screens. Although we ran a little late, they were good about not putting food out until we actually arrived. Went here today for lunch with 8 coworkers to celebrate a special occasion. Normally the thought of trying to take 9 people to lunch in the Loop at noon on a Thursday would frighten me, but this place had it together. We sat right away, our drink orders were promptly taken, and menus passed out. I really dug the atmosphere of this place. The bar was huge and organized, and the decor inviting. After a few minutes our waitress took our food order, taking care to write everything down in seat order. Not a single drink or food item came out wrong, and more importantly, nothing disappointed! Noteworthy items: - friend got the fish & chips and loved them - a few of us got tacos. A bit steep of a price for $5, but they did taste great. The issue is that they use about a 3" tortilla but fill it up with a burrito full of ingredients. It was pretty difficult to eat. - buffalo chicken mac & cheese side for $5, could have been my entire meal. Great portion size for the price Our service was prompt, friendly, and we were in and out within 40 minutes. Will definitely return for a "nicer" lunch option with coworkers, or take a customer here for a business lunch! I'd also be intrigued to see how the dynamic changes for a happy hour. read more

Such a great restaurant. We came to see a show at the civic opera house and it's right across the street. But because of some reviews we tried 3 other places first- and left them all! Then we tried this place, which person at opera house recommended, and loved it. Casual/nice bar and restaurant. Wait staff are friendly and come to check often. Wide American food selection. I got kale salad and BBQ pulled chicken- both delicious! When we entered they asked if we were here for a show at the opera house and made sure our food came out quick so we were not late. The best part about this place is watching the cranes work on the Wacker abyss while eating lunch. Just kidding. Well, maybe not. One North is run by the same group (Restaurants America) as Primebar. Given that Primebar is in my work building, walking into 1N, I realized that 1N is little more than Primebar transported a few blocks south. The testosterone-laden decor is similar, the highbacked booths still prominent, the menu virtually identical, and the clientele are carbon-copies. Creepy. 1N feels a bit more upscale, however, with less emphasis on the bar, and more emphasis on the restaurant. The food quality, however, is pretty much standard. The chicken breast salad was decent--melty goat cheese, plenty of greens, but I counted about 4 strawberries. Don't skimp on my strawberries, please. And while I'm typically not a breadbasket person, theirs is quite tasty, and dare I guess...fresh-baked? It had that yeasty smell. Menu options run the standard salads, burgers, sandwiches, and entrees, running from about $11-$20. While this appears to be a great business lunch spot, if you have any more than a few people in your group, be prepared to shout. This place gets LOUD during the lunch hour. And the last thing you want to be doing is screaming sensitive biz info across the lunch table. They do a fast turnover during lunch, however, so food does come out relatively quickly. And when I had to send my back thanks to an allergy-inducing nut being included, my fresh salad came back out within minutes (probably with spit on it, but hey--I expect it). They could be a bit more attentive with drink refills--one Diet Coke at lunch ain't gonna cut it for this girl. I'm sure it's hopping for post-work drinks, but I think I'll stick with my love-to-hate standby, Primebar. The money's going to the same place eventually, anyway. read more

If you are thinking about going to One North for lunch call 312-750-9700 right now to make a reservation! Try and call at least a day or two ahead of time as they always book up. If it is the day of and you are dying to go, arrive around 11:30 to get a seat in the bar area which is first come, first serve. The food is good and the portions are large though slightly overpriced. I usually get the Asian Salad with Seared Tuna. I once tried the rotisserie chicken sandwich and it was very bland and dry. But overall I would say it is an OK spot for a more upscale lunch in the loop. read more

We were there on a Friday night before a performance at the Lyric Opera. We had checked out a bunch of options in the area, and chose One North based on a recommendation from a friend and the super convenient location (across the street from the Civic Opera House). We did not have a reservation, but were there early and were seated right away. The dining room filled in considerably while we were there, so if you are going during prime dinner time, I would suggest making a reservation. The service was great. Our waiter was very attentive. I had a chicken club with avocado and bacon, which was very good, but messy. (Side note: I'm not sure it's really a "club" since those are usually on toast and this was a grilled chicken breast on a regular burger-type roll, but whatever!). The fries that came with the sandwich were really good. My companion had the burrata flatbread, with cheese, grilled peaches, and prosciutto. It's listed in the appetizer menu, but we ordered it as an entree after chatting with the waiter. When it came to the table, we decided it wasn't quite large enough to be an entree, but it was delicious, and was our favorite of the two dishes. The ambiance was nice - dimly lit, candle on the table, etc. but the large after-work crowd at the bar was a bit loud. This is an average place. We got seated on a weekday at 12:30. Server came right away to take our drinks and entree orders. However, we waited forever for the food to arrive. I ordered the lobster sandwich. It was very average. Nothing special. The lettuce was wilted. None of the vegetables were very fresh. The french fries, listed as pommes frites, were very average. Overall, nothing special. Wouldn't go back there unless I have to for another business lunch. read more

I honestly wish, so badly, that this place was higher up on my list, but after an extremely iffy meal there last night, I think that it's time to move on. I work across the street, and if only this place were better. Came here last night before going to the opera. When we were greeted at the host stand, we were asked if we were going to the opera, to which we replied yes. She gave us tiny little menus (with about half of the options only). When we sat down, we were given water, and asked for drink menus and regular menus. The guy looked at us like we were insane. Then he said he'd get the waiter. I assumed that he was confused and that the waiter would bring them straightaway. He didn't. He also looked at us like we were more than slightly insane. FINALLY, drink menus. When we didn't know what we wanted 20 seconds later, he ran away and didn't come back for 15 minutes. Finally, we got our drinks, which were fine. For dinner, I had the turkey club. I really didn't want fries, and asked the waiter if he could sub in a salad or something else. He told me, "Oh, you can have any side you want with a sandwich". So, I ordered the brussel sprouts, which he raved about. The sandwich was dry and subpar, and let's just say that I make brussel sprouts 10 times better. When we got the bill, I saw that he charged us three dollars for the sprouts! What the hell!?!?! I don't ever MIND paying a little more for a healthier side, but that just seemed plain deceitful. It wasn't even worth arguing about with the waiter (who was completely MIA at this point and sneered at us when we asked for change). Let me tell you, we are usually 20% + tippers, but that $3 came out of his tip. Word to the wise: get happy hour or pre-opera meals elsewhere. This place is not worth the overpriced, bland food that comes with terrible service. To management: you might want to consider training your staff to be polite and honest about what customers are going to get. read more

In my klutzy condition, and after knocking back a few, I could see myself easily falling off and making a spectacle of myself in a sea of investment bankers. I went here after work on what could only be described as a wild day (rain, high winds) and so my cuteness quotient was sufficiently diminished. Even so, I got promptly seated at the bar, and the service was efficient, if not hovering. I will say that the drink that I thought was relatively puny at first turned out to pack a wallop. Wow. It was a pretty crappy dinner experience. I went in on a business dinner. We were seated immediately for our reservation, probably because we were one of only half a dozen tables in the place. Despite the lack of other diners, we sat for five to ten minutes without menus, bread, water or wait staff attention. The waitress finally showed up, told us that we'd be receiving bread and water soon, and asked for our drink orders. We asked for a drink menu, and she seemed surprised that we didn't already have menus. We ordered our drinks and waited another unacceptably long time to receive them. That became a pattern throughout the evening: an unacceptably long wait for everything. Unfortunately, our waitresses attention was one of those things we had to wait for. I'm not quite clear why she didn't pay more attention to us when there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. All night long our drinks would be empty for long periods of time. Our dinner took two and half hours, mainly due to inattention, and we saw our waitress about every half hour. What really annoyed me was that she didn't seem to realize she was a crappy waitress. She had that "I'm an on-top-of-it waitress in a nice restaurant and oh aren't I so good" air about her - totally unwarranted. In fact, when I ordered my meal, I asked her to come back to me after the rest of the table had placed their orders, because I was unsure if I might want to change my mind. She ran off after taking the last order, completely forgetting my request. I'd have corrected her if I'd seen her again before our meals were brought out. On a sidenote, I was served the most disgusting cranberry martini of my life this night. I also ordered a double gin and tonic. I was given a tall gin and tonic in a pint glass. Tacky. The menu looked fantastic. The choices sounded fun and we were excited to receive our meals. Unfortunately, the quality of food was extremely middle of the road. I had to drench my duck in the cherry glaze to find some flavor. My polenta "gnocchi" was completely dearth of depth. The rest of the table had ordered mostly kobe steaks, and they were extremely underwhelmed. Kobe is supposed to melt in your mouth - it's supposed to be SO GOOD that it's worth the ridiculous amount you have to pay for it. These steaks were a decent New York strip quality, at best. It was pathetic. Dessert time came, and that menu was much less interesting than the dinner menu. There were about five choices, and some of them were just plain odd. Goat cheese cake? What's wrong with a nice goat cheese tart - why does it have to be some odd cake? The dessert wine menu was boring. We ordered carrot cake that was so disgusting we couldn't finish it. My husband ordered vanilla ice cream, and what he got tasted like some sort of mint/lemon ice cream hybrid; it most certainly wasn't vanilla. Another member of our party ordered the cheese plate and was told they were OUT OF CHEESE. Seriously? We honestly walked our of there on a mission to warn anyone we could to NEVER eat at this place for dinner. You will be horribly disappointed and sad that you wasted an evening. Ordered tomato bisque soup and a cobb salad for take out. The soup was delicious. The salad was 95% greens with a tiny unseasoned chicken breast on top. The menu said a hard boiled egg was included, but it was missing from my salad. There were maybe 3 tiny chunks of bacon, a decent amount of cheese, but very little of anything else the menu listed. The reason to go here is to have a business lunch. It is fit for the purpose intended. The menu is efficient. There are several food options that don't take more than 30 minutes to get through. Mine had a meat component to it, and my colleague had leaves with fish on it, called by a French name. We didn't care because we were hatching a business plan. After the plates were cleared, we could order latte, linger awhile and seal our deal. The main reason I will go back is the staff. My waiter was businesslike and cordial. He wasted no time getting our order and delivering it from the kitchen. And he seemed like a decent human being, which added greatly to the occasion. read more

Apparently everyone working in the West Loop last Thursday had the same idea...happy hour at South Branch. Being last on this bandwagon meant that my friend and I had to seek our happy hour drinks and light fare elsewhere. We landed at One North Kitchen. I had been there for lunch before and was wary at re-visiting given the lack of happy hour specials, slightly pricey menu, and that they grilled my salad last time (see Porto Poached Anjou Pear Salad). Unfortunately, I still haven't found the solution to South Branch's overcrowding issue. The service was impossibly slow and my salad was forgettable. In fact, it took me a while to recollect what was my order, the Midwestern Cobb. FYI, "Crispy Lardon" is just a fancy name for bacon. The salad was a good size, but I'm confused about the $14 price and the additional price for adding Chicken, Shrimp, etc. My friend ordered the Asian Turkey Burger with asparagus on the side. She was pleased with her choice, but was surprised by how spicy it was. Also, the additional charge for substituting the asparagus for fries just seems unnecessary. Again, there were no happy hour drink specials and the price matches the fancy ingredients but not the taste. To end on a positive, the aforementioned reasons mean that you can have your choice of empty tables. read more

But in the safe corporate environment that ONK provides, that's OK, and there's nothing objectionable about the food, the service, and the space. Huge patio. Inside is not too hot. Crowded for the bar. Awesome bartenders and servers though. On top of it and know how to work the after 5 crowd. I chowed down on some calimari. For a 1/2 price app it was fine. It was not by any means fantastic. But the Sam Octoberfest at $3 kinda made up for that. And garlic mayo covers up anything that tastes blah. From their scallops entree, to their blackened chicken salad, or charred Brussel sprouts, everything on the menu is full of flavor for those taste buds! Drinks are also great! Celebrated my upcoming wedding here with coworkers for a lunch date. The service was a bit slow, I also opted for a soup to start off with...the navy bean and ham soup was more like a minestrone than a "split pea" type soup. Not impressed. Pass on this. But my entree was damn good. I loved my Farmers Flatbread (Grilled Peach, Arugula, Burata, Basil Pesto, Aged Balsamic Glaze). Could be a hot after work happy hour place. One North Kitchen & Bar rates 5 stars for service in my wife's and my mind. We arrived 1/2 hour late for our dinner reservation this evening--we had called ahead to let them know that traffic in Chicago on a rainy Friday evening was awful. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. with a 7 p.m. show time at the Lyric Opera across the street. The restaurant was jammed because everyone had shown up at the same time due to the bad weather. The receptionist got us to a table promptly. The gentleman who showed us to our table asked if he could get us a drink while we were waiting for a waitress, and showed up shortly thereafter with the two glasses of wine we had ordered. Our waitress showed up thereafter, and we explained that we didn't have much time before we had to leave for our show. The waitress said that they could serve us before we had to leave. They did, and it was delicious. The Whitefish was nicely presented and tender. The steak sandwich my wife ordered was also tasty. Then our waitress showed up with two more glasses of wine for us, which she said were on the house. She knew it had been a challenge for us to just get to their restaurant. I can't promise two free glasses of wine, but I do think you will get delicious food, promptly served at One North Kitchen & Bar. Skip C. read more

There are so many options nearby - this one just isn't worth it. Came here with a group of 8 at noon - we had reservations. They sat us and took our drink orders quickly enough. And then we waited. And waited. Finally, they took our food order. And then we waited. And waited. A waiter spilled sour cream on my coworker (he was very nice about it, but still, it wasn't awesome and didn't help anything). We kept waiting. One of my group had to be back at the office for a 1 PM meeting. At 12:50, we finally got our food. The one person inhaled his and booked it back to the office. One person's burger, which he ordered to be medium, was literally raw inside. We were finally able to flag down our server, who took it back to the kitchen and brought it back out 10 minutes later - same burger patty (cooked more) with a new bun and totally different condiments than what he had originally had. At that point, he wasn't very hungry anymore, so he just didn't care. I had the sriracha BLT. It was enormous and kind of difficult to eat. The bacon was good. The tomatoes were not, but it was February in Chicago, so I don't really hold that against the restaurant. The dining room was really loud. Like shout at the person sitting next to you loud. OK for happy hour, not great for a business lunch. Anyway, as I started with, there are a lot of other OK options in the area. This is not one that I will be hurrying back to. read more

Perfect for during lunch break downtown, this place is classy, has great food that is always changing with the season, and tucked away so it's never too crowded. A great place to stop in for a drinks with the girls after work or to eat a great lunch during a crazy week. If it's your friends birthday make sure to mention it. I'm really surprised at all the less than stellar reviews about this place. My experiences here have been good. The first time I came here was just for drinks - I ran into an old coworker on the street and after chatting for a while she suggested we grab a drink here. We sat outside on the patio, it wasn't busy, it was a beautiful night, and our server was great. We called another friend to come meet us, and the two of them split a sushi appetizer which looked good, but I did not try it. Our drinks were fairly priced, and overall it was a lovely evening of unexpected fun. The second time I came with a coworker for a nice lunch to celebrate his birthday. We had some other options in mind, but everywhere was packed and we ended up here. This place is PACKED at lunch so be prepared for that, but after we waited in line to check in we ended up getting seated right away. They sat us at a long table and asked us if we minded another party of 2 sitting at the other end, and we didn't. Yes, it was weird at first but I don't have a problem with them getting creative and using a 6 top to seat 2 2-tops. I ordered a salad, and he ordered a burger. The food came out fast, and it was good - nothing spectacular, but it didn't suck either. I think our server was actually a manager who was pitching in, and I could tell she was rusty but we didn't mind. They did accidently put the other party of two's appetizers on our check, but they fixed it quickly and got us out of there quickly - in fact, we even made it back to the office on time for our hour lunch, which surprised me. I think this is a good option if you're looking for something different for lunch, but you need to be prepared to wait since this seems like a popular choice for business lunches - something that shouldn't come as a surprise at any sit down restaurant in the loop during lunch. read more

Our office went here for a luncheon. I had the filet sliders, which were great. There was enough to eat and all the food everyine ordered looked delicious. So here's an update: I went back to One North Kitchen because one of the managers contacted me and asked if the restaurant could do a do-over. I accepted the offer and was pleased. The food was very good this time around. My little darling and I ordered an appetizer and entrees but skipped the dessert because there was no room! Appetizer: My little darling insisted I pick the appetizer since I was the "food critic." He was trying hard to hide his disappointment when I said "The Loaded Kettle Chips, please," to Nick, our waiter. However, my little darling ate that disappointment like he and I ate those chips. They were SO GOOD. They were topped with a fried egg and loaded with emenntal cheese, bacon, and came with a side of giardiniera. I highly recommend them. Lunch entree: When our entrees arrived, the manager briefly came over to our table and introduced himself and welcomed us to the restaurant. I ordered the mahi mahi. It was slightly over cooked but still delicious. It came with mushroom and fava bean risotto that was impeccably flavorful. It was perfectly cooked and wasn't overly mushy like sometimes risotto can be. It's definitely something I would order again. My little darling ordered two tacos, the pescado crujiente and the crispy pork ( I think, it was the pork). Both got his finicky stamp of approval. Overall the experience was very good. I appreciate the managers taking patron comments and reviews seriously and taking action. That's good customer service and good business. read more

Had lunch at One North this afternoon with two friends. We ate then lingered chatting until almost 3. Our waitress/server was great from the outset. The topper for me was the kitchen's accommodation to my dietary needs. Our waitress/server listened to my needs and the chef executed a perfectly grilled piece of salmon accompanied by a side wonderful sweet potato purée. A great time with friends, great service and a great meal. Hard to beat that on a Friday afternoon! read more

As far as pricey lunches go, I prefer some other locales to One North. Their entrees could be better. I ordered the special entree for the day, and I don't think it was so special. I've heard the steak is good, and the fish looked tasty as well, though I cannot say I have tasted. As far as sandwiches and salads go they do a very nice job. Our service was average and its a very loud restaurant. I could barely hear the people at the other end. We got right in when all other places (Nine, Lloyd's, etc.) had a wait. That technically could be a bad sign. read more

My first impression is that the decor is pretty cool - almost as if they were inspired by RL on Michigan. Our server didn't seem particularly overworked, but it took her quite a while to get to us each time, and she was pretty slow on the refills. At the prices they charge, and with the type of restaurant that this is, I'd expect the servers to have a bit better menu knowledge. The food, however, was pretty good. The salads are filled with fancy rabbit-type lettuce, which I don't like. Aside from that, it took a bit longer than I would have like it to for the food to arrive. It was very well presented, and pretty good. Portion size was pretty reasonable for lunch, though I wasn't able to finish all of mine. This place is hopping at lunch! Suits as far as the eyes can see. I went for a work lunch recently and thought the food was average to good. We tried the flatbread (ok), the chicken with polenta (great chicken but so much oil!!!), and a couple of desserts. The creme brûlée and banana creme pie - really a pudding - were both really tasty.
