Chicken ceaser salad, rose, patio view

Nice patio area for seating on the river. Drinks were fast and good. Chicken ceaser salad was a bit of a wait, chicken is seasoned good but not worth the wait in my opinion

Trivia: What type of pickle finds its way onto the Chicago dog? This has a wonderful view of the river and some of the architecturally significant buildings to gaze upon. The Chicago dog was great and the beer was cold. Service was okay. I was surprised with how long the hot dog took. My friend had ordered fries and was almost finished with them. I figured my buzzer must have been broken so I wandered down to the kitchen, but wasn't sure where to pick up food or who to ask. But then my buzzer went off. It was weird. Not busy at all, long wait time. But the hot dog was tasty!

To be completely transparent, I didn't have high expectations for this spot. It's on the riverwalk and most the riverwalk food is pretty meh. Of course, the view of merchandise mart is great. The service was surprisingly attentive and everybody was sweet. We got the lamb burger and the chicken sandwich. Honestly, I was blown away. It's not anything crazy, but simple, fresh ingredients prepared well. If I have a craving for a burger, I would definitely come back again. So good and so affordable too!

I visited Brews and Bites in Chicago with a group of four during my trip, and I absolutely loved it. The location is right on the Riverwalk, and the atmosphere was perfect for a casual afternoon. I brought my dog Mojo along, and they were super welcoming. Being able to relax by the water with friends and my dog was such a highlight. I ordered a wheat beer, and my friend got a piña colada. We shared chips and guacamole and also ordered some nachos. I wish I had taken a picture of the chips and guac because they were easily the star of the meal. The nachos were fine, but the guacamole and chips were a hundred percent better. The chips were homemade and honestly some of the best tortilla chips I have ever had--crispy, fresh, and perfectly salted. The service was friendly, and the overall vibe made it a great experience. I would absolutely recommend stopping by if you are on the Riverwalk. And definitely get the chips and guac. I will be dreaming about those chips.

We went this summer and I'm still thinking about that pesto sandwich! It was such a simple sandwich but they made sure it was flavorful and filling. My friend said the burger was really delicious too. The drinks and dessert were good. Service was fast and efficient. Oh, and the view? BREATHTAKING. It's on the riverwalk so prime time location for a meal with some sight seeing.

Came to this place for lunch. Friendly staff, delicious food and a perfect location to enjoy the riverwalk. Love the vibe. Definitely recommend!

This restaurant has a gorgeous spot right on the river. There are plenty of seats, two bars, and the food and drinks were great. The staff is fantastic. They're friendly, welcoming, polite. I would recommend it!

    The crêpe Suzette. Awesomely delicious.

Was looking for a location down by the Riverwalk that we could watch the Art on the Mart free light show and found this Brews & Bites establishment directly across from the show. The staff was very welcoming and suggested the crêpe Suzette for my wife and I had the mushroom ravioli. Both were excellent and the service was great. Don't miss the light show. It also was great.

Great food and great ambience, especially at night when viewing art on the mart. Will definitely go back this year. Also great service.

Bar service can get a little backed up depending on how crowded the place is...one time I was there, the bar was so crowded that I couldn't flag down a server long enough to place a food order so, before I left, I placed my food order to go using the mobile route. Whatever, I didn't care. I'm pretty chill. Anyway, burger was still good when I walked it back to my hotel. When the place isn't slammed, service is like night and day and the place is a bit more quiet. Pop on in if you want to try some good beer, a tasty burger or other pub fare.

Everything was pretty good and I appreciate that the pretzel came with three different dipping sauces. It was super busy, even for a Saturday, but everyone was friendly and helpful. Not the most exciting or incredible meal, but a solid option.

We visited Bar Sotto during Chicago Restaurant Week and had a really enjoyable overall experience…read more The space has a cozy, dimly lit, intimate vibe perfect for a date night or a relaxed dinner with friends. It feels upscale but still comfortable. Service was attentive and paced well, especially considering it was Restaurant Week and fairly busy. The Restaurant Week menu offered a great variety. We started with the crispy arancini, which were perfectly golden on the outside and creamy inside with a rich glaze that added a nice depth of flavor. The wild mushroom risotto had great earthy flavor and was very rich, definitely a heavier dish but satisfying if you are in the mood for something indulgent. The gnocchi were soft and pillowy with fresh basil and roasted tomatoes that brightened the dish nicely. For entrées, the filet mignon was cooked beautifully, tender and medium rare with a flavorful sauce that complemented it well. The chicken parmesan had a solid crisp and good seasoning, though it leaned more classic than standout. Portions overall felt fair for the prix fixe price. Dessert was a sweet finish. The tiramisu was light, creamy, and not overly heavy, which we appreciated. Overall, 4 stars. Great ambiance and solid execution across the board. While nothing completely blew us away, it was a well done Restaurant Week experience and I would definitely come back to try more from their regular menu.

We didn't eat here but I would come back to try the food. We just ordered the olives off the happy hour menu which were the perfect little snacky item.

The place was easy to get in and find a good spot on a Tuesday night at prime time. Easy to order, easy to settle up. Did I say it was easy?! Some Tool was playing when I drank my stout. Appropriate.
