So my husband and I have been to this cleaners several times since they opened but this is my time getting a dress altered here. I bought my silk dress in & the guys says they can take off the 5 inches I request off. He also tells me that they will call me when it's ready and I can only pay in cash for alterations. So a week and a half goes by and I call oNe price and the man is like oh yea it's ready for pick up, and I'm like ughhh well no one called me. But it's fine I pick up and paid $18 in cash and had to ask for a plastic cover the guy at counter stated it's not provided for alterations only‍. I've been coming to this location consistently for some time to have my mom's dry cleaning done... and mine done very seldom! I have noted under the new management, the price has increased twice! The lastest increase occurred during the current COVID pandemic! When I inquired about this increase, the owner stated it was because they changed off-site dry cleaning plants and the new one was more expensive! I also noticed on my receipt that they pass on their service fee when using your credit card with their Clover POS system! When I inquired about the service fee, the owner stated it was always there, even under previous management! I disagreed and told him I had reviewed prior receipts once I saw it on my most recent receipt! He claimed that it was baked into a higher tax at 9% vs 7.25%... Is that even legal? When I reviewed my old receipts again, there was no such upcharge in sales tax! During the visit, and while bringing this to his attention, he was quite defensive and told me that my questioning and tone was out of order! I informed him that as a customer, I had every right to question that for which I was being charged! And further, why is he not making his customers aware that this fee is being included on their bill? He stated, "it's on there, right in from of your face!" And when I asked why prices are not posted in clear view for customers to see BEFORE he rings in the items to be dry cleaned? He stated "it's here (over the cash register pointing in the opposite direction) behind the counter!" Again, he was quite upset by my line of questioning, and stated he wished to refuse me service of my mom's items because of my tone of voice, and accused me of yelling at him and complaining! False! I explained to him that I don't believe it was my tone of voice that was at issue, but instead it was my line of questioning and my reaction to his in substantial, illogical responses and his "superb" customer service! Such business practices were never an issue under prior management! One price meant just that... one price! Any cost and fee for additional services rendered was posted and clearly communicated BEFORE you were charged! I have since contacted and made inquiries regarding the same with the BBB! read more

I was recently in Charlotte, NC for a wedding and needed to get my custom made Senator Suit cleaned. Getting dressed for the wedding I realized the zipper was stuck. Even worse it had been crushed flat. I spoke to the Co-owner (George, Joseph or Paul) and after I made it back home, I found a tailor to replace it for $15. Despite me living in another state he requested that I bring it back in for them to repair it. Tired of the back and forth over this insignificant amount of money I asked for a refund ($10). To think, the owner wouldn't spare $7 to fix something he destroyed. Poor customer service. read more

Every time I have some special clothes or bedsheets that can't be washed in a regular washing machine I bring them here. I like that they charge the same price for almost everything, unless you have big heavy coats or comforters prices will differ. I never had any issues, both guys who work there are always nice and courteous. Normally your clothes get done in 3 days but if you need it earlier they do whatever they can to make it happen. This is my first option when it comes to dry cleaners. read more

They outsource their dry cleaning services. They do not do it on site. Every time I have given them for dryer cleaning it seemed like they just steam the cloths. Don't don't actually clean them. I spilled something on my coat and when I got back it was still there. I took shout and cleaned it myself and it came out. I would not recommend this place. read more

I love this place. I'm usually skeptical about one price dry cleaning but I decided to take a chance when. I took several items that needed cleaning that haven't been cleaned in years. A couple items items were white and linen. My whites were yellowed. I was able to get a light blue suit cleaned. An off white turtle neck and a white suit. The white suit was yellowed and it was restored to wearable condition. It took a few times to get it cleaned but they were diligent. My white linen suit wasn't worth cleaning but I also received a mini consumer education on dry cleaning. This is my new go to for dry cleaning. I've been there several times since and always receive excellent service. read more

Discount price ($3.65) is nice and the cleaning is exactly the same as the full price ($5.50) cleaners. Convenient to and from airport and for Berewick community. Owners operate the store ,so if a problem arises, it can be resolved immediately. Alterations are next day and really well done. read more

I have been here twice and both times I have had issues. The first time I went I had 3 lab coats pressed, when I got them back they had more creases in them than when I took them and I needed to go make a trip back there to have them fixed but I was still charged the full amount. The second time I went there I have some suit pants altered and pressed. I paid for both services but when I got home the pants were not even altered !!! so now I have been to this place 4 times total for only 2 items. I am sure some people have had good services there but be careful if you are new. If you do have anything altered they make you pay cash only which is an issue as most people don't carry cash these days. My personal recomendation would be to avoid this place. read more

I went there today to get a pair of pants altered. From the time I walked in this establishment Bill (who said he'd only been with the business for a few months) was very rude. In a very rude tone he asked me if I knew how much I wanted taken off and I said no I didn't and I asked if they had changing rooms. Again in a rude tone he told me no. Then proceeded to tell me that they use an outside seamstress who is "very busy". I asked Bill for his name because all of the reviews I read online about Jeff were great. After I mentioned "reviews" somehow his demeanor instantly changed. He was friendly and even referred me to a place to get my pants altered. I'm very disappointed in the customer service I received today and unfortunately I will not return. Maybe Bill was having a bad day. read more

No good. They 1st almost ruined the wedding day in November. The alteration lady had me book an appointment 2 weeks out and the wedding was in 3 weeks. I showed up for the scheduled appointment after waiting and the alteration lady never showed up!!At this point the wedding was in 5 days.. No thanks to this place. The next issue is that I had been taking lab coats here for them to clean. They had cleaned them more than 7 times. I go in most recently in May 2018. Paid for Rush service dropped the lab coat off on a tues. It should have been ready Thursday, gave them until Saturday. Went to pick it up, I'm then told that it can't be cleaned. They never called or anything. This was for my doctor at work. 1st they try to ruin the wedding and months later my job. Then the clerk to refund my $ on another customer's card. Yes he actually turned the little white Ipad screen around to me; showing me all of their clients personal information as he was about to refund me on a man's credit card. They do a great job but the hours are very inconvenient. They are also a lot slower than most, but the price makes up for that. I would definitely recommend them, just make sure you plan well, if you need something the next day, it could be an issue. read more
