Do not give your money to One Stop Board Shop. I dropped off a $1,900 electric unicycle for repair. After months of being ignored, I was told -- with zero warning or consent -- that they threw it away. When I asked how they thought that was okay, they cited a landlord-tenant law (yes, seriously) to justify it. This wasn't a misunderstanding. I followed up multiple times. They responded after the fact -- once the EUC was already gone. What makes this worse is that they've now officially dissolved their LLC, yet their Shopify storefront is still active and taking people's money. That means they're operating without a legal business entity. If anything goes wrong with your order, good luck getting recourse. I've got the receipts, emails, and dissolution documents to prove it. If you value your gear or your money, stay far away. They've already shown how they treat customers -- and now they don't even exist legally to be held accountable. Unfortunately I would give this business ZERO stars, if possible. I took my son's e-bike there to fix a tube. The tube was $30 - the repair bill was $464! Now I understand it was the back tire and took a bit longer to disassemble, as it was connected to the motor. However THREE HOURS - from a "professional". My son's friend's Dad fixed in less time than that. Had I known, I would have just asked the friend, and paid him. The owner prides himself on their "expertise" - he insulted my local bike shop (who I also received a quote from) as paying their employees minimum wage, yet, it takes his guys 3 hours to fix a tire! After arguing about this with him, he ended up taking off an hour of labor- but now he was going to be "out" the $135/hr they spent working on it. Right! I think this place is dishonest and I would be VERY careful taking anything here to be repaired. read more

This is a great place to buy your stuff for OW and Eskate. I placed an online order for tires and tubes. They came in the mail, all was great except one tube had a hole in it. I was able to patch it, and keep riding, but I wanted a spare just in case. Trying to get 6" tires and tubes is impossible at times, OSBS was fresh out of stock. I emailed Brain the owner a few times, and he eventually got back to me with a phone call. He said a customer accidentally ordered 6's instead of 7's so he had one single 6" tube that he was willing to sell to me. I was more than happy to purchase the tube online while driving on the highway on my way home from work. It came via USPS pretty quick, per usual. The moral of the story here is support small businesses like OSBS. They obviously care about their customers, and I'll definitely be back in the future for additional purchases. read more

VERY professional! I have a 2018 OneWheel XR and wanted a new tire and bearings. I figure if I'm not quite ready to bite on the GT just yet, I might as well just give my XR a luxury refresh. Guy on the phone was very knowledgeable as well as upfront about pricing and availability. I probably called 4 times with different questions and he never became impatient. I carefully studied tire options before ordering myself an Enduro tire from The Float Life, waited 'til receipt, then was able to schedule online a day in advance. (I drove 150 miles from Baltimore for this. :)) Location is in a basic shopping center, but in a decent residential neighborhood in a nice small town. Parking was fine. Inside the store was a pristine mecca of all things OneWheel! Also some Evolve and a couple e-bike brands. A whole 5-foot stack of Fang 3.0s next to a matching stack of Bangs. All kinds of Float Life and Flight Fins accessories. I impulse purchased a fresh shield for my FF fenders as well as a trunk stand. There were several people testing out their boards around the parking lot and in and out of the ramp just inside the door, so watch out, but everyone was very courteous and respectful. Vibe was somewhere between a very nice surf shop and a nicer tire place. Did not notice any clothing, but there was some nice swag at the counter. While waiting, I found a Dunkin' within about a mile of the place. There was also a McDonald's. Service took less than 1.5 hours. I was offered a couple upsells for less-necessary add-ons to install with the service, but I was given plenty of time to think it over and the guy at the counter (who also did the work, I think) was cordial when I decided against the add-ons. I got the sense that both the employees and many of the customers come in with a pragmatic, engineering-minded vision when it comes to exactly what gets done to the boards. Service was very expensive, but this is a unique type of shop and as such, cost (for me at least) really wasn't a consideration. I get the feeling you just aren't going to find this type of place hardly anywhere in the mid-Atlantic. These aren't just knowledgeable skaters on a boardwalk. They're like the Mercedes or BMW mechanics of OneWheeling. read more

I ordered my XR from Brian and let me tell you it was literally the best customer service I've ever received when it comes to purchasing a new product. I was initially set on 4210 hardware since I like newest and greatest, but he called me and offered me insightful knowledge to stick with 4209 and helped steer me through the endless list of options and accessories. He texted me pics of different color schemes as we were on the phone so I can visualize the final product! It was well over an hour phone conversation, this is how dedicated this man is to his craft. When the product arrived, everything was packed neatly and efficiently, along with all original parts. He assembled the entire board with the accessories, everything was perfect! I've has my stock Pint since October, and since then my rush hour commute across Midtown Manhattan and through my Jersey City neighborhood has been the best part of my day. It's pretty funny too, because it reminds me of how things were when I was a kid and how back then there always seemed to be these people around with this really profound and deep-seated dislike of me and how they always used to say "Why don't you go play in traffic?" Well, I'm a grown man now so...Challenge Accepted, Mom and Dad. I was aware of One Stop Board Shop, having heard good things about them in the Onewheel community around the Tri-State area, and when the Vega on my Stock Pint started riding weird and losing air, I decided to give them a call. Brian exceeded my every expectation. I called him fairly early on a Saturday morning and despite his having planned some personal riding time he immediately agreed to let me come over so he could take a look at my problem and do a same day tire swap. 45 minutes after my call I was pleasantly surprised to pull up to a beautiful home and was welcomed into a garage workshop that was absolutely impeccable. He gave me an expert opinion on the problem - with a sincere and well explained recommendation to swap out the stick bearings along with the tire. He then led me to a well-stocked inventory room that was impressively organized, where I selected a Hoosier Slick, Burris Bearings. Based on his recommendations I decided to add a Kush Nug High, a Float Plate, and Sidekicks. Here's what you should know about Brian: he went into business strictly to serve this community. This is *not* how he makes his living, he loves his day job, and by all appearances seems to make a very comfortable living. I did not for a second feel "upsold" or pressured into any of my purchases. Despite this, the layout of his workshop and his inventory system was clearly the result of careful planning. There was clearly a commitment to quality and efficiency than was way beyond what I would expect to see in a home based "side hustle." I stopped back by later that night and found him hard at work on my rebuild, and I had a really great time getting to know him as he put the finishing touches on my Pint, and he treated me like a guest, not a customer. It was after 11pm when he finished, and despite the late hour he took the time to make sure I was satisfied with the work. My rebuilt is Pint a completely different machine since yesterday. I went to Brian's shop looking to swap out a wobbly tire and left with a machine that has been radically upgraded: it rolls silent with a gorgeous buttery feel. The new shoe is a bit more squared off, making it way more stable than the more rounded Vega. I was a little worried that sacrificing that squirrelly ride (which has its own charms) would make it less nimble (which is kind of a big deal when you need to thread the needle between two moving box trucks while dodging pedestrians). The Hoosier Slick combined with the Kush Nug High settled that matter real quick. This setup is insanely responsive with a razor sharp carving profile that uses the squared edges for precision with an assertive snap back onto the center of the tire at the apex of every curve. Glorious. It was a pleasure doing business with One Stop Board Shop. If you are in need of an upgrade or a repair, I highly recommend that you send it to Brian. Bought my Hoosier tread tire for my pint from One Stop Board Shop, mounted it & come to out it had a factory defect due to a hole, pm'd Brian right away sent a video, with no further questions asked.. shipped my replacement tire the next business day..hands down it exceeded my expectations!!!
