One Stop installed our units 6 years ago in our newly constructed home. Recently a part went bad and had to be replaced. The company fixing the unit said they would see if original installer (One Stop) registered the units for the extra 5 year warranty. They come with a 5 year and the installer can register for an additional 5 years. They did not register and never alerted us about this process so we could do it ourselves. I called One Stop to inquire and their response was "Legally we did not have to at that time, good bye." Basically said too bad so sad...not any suggestions or recourse. Our builder explained they stopped using One Stop because of these type problems and their customer service. We ended up calling the manufacturer ourselves and explaining what happened. The manufacturer graciously granted us the extra 5 years and got the work covered under warranty. They were also aware of One Stops history of not registering installed products, telling home owners it's not their problem, and offering no help. Thank goodness we followed through with the carrier. my home builder decided to go with One stop cooling for the AC systems throughout the community so we are stuck with them. We started having issues with the new AC system around May 17, called in and a tech came out on May 21st. It's was low on Freon so he added about 6lbs of Freon, I purchased the filters from him which he said should arrive within two weeks. We had issues again with the unit around June 12th had another tech out on June 17th and he identified that the unit was leaking Freon and required a new part , he said that we will get another call to schedule another tech with the part they never call , I was calling back at least twice weekly trying to get an update on the part. Trying to get someone on the phone is a waiting game , easily 45 minutes. I left countless voice messages with my info hoping someone will call me back and not once did I get a call back. Called Monday July 11th to get my refund for the filters we order back in May 21st but never got and to get an update on the part , finally the lady said they had the part and scheduled me for today Thursday July 14th appt. window 8am -1pm and also reported the request to accounting so I can get my money back for the filters. Today at 2:30pm I called the company and they said that I was never scheduled for any repair and that next week Monday is the earliest they can come to my house to house and replace the defective part. I try not to ever hurt a company with any negative reviews because I don't know what someone or a groups of people went through to start a company but this is by far the worst experience I've ever had with any company. I don't recommend this company to anyone looking to get a new ac unit or repair. Because of the warranty with builder we are tied to this company but Ill pay out pocket not to ever deal with them again. Improve your customer service department please. ****Update 8/05/2022***** I finally received the check on July 20th check for the filters order back in May. Deposit the check on July 27th but today I received a letter from my bank stating that the check bounce for insufficient funds. We purchase the service warranty on both our units from One Stop. During the recent heat wave our compressor went out as per the One stop technician, he said it would take about 5 days due to warranty with carrier. My wife and I booked a hotel locally, however we never heard back from One Stop, I left several messages and sent emails and till this day 2 weeks later we still haven't heard from them. We contacted MSI of Central Florida and they handled the claim within 2 days. One stop completely failed us, and we feel we were taken advantage of in terms of purchasing their service warranty. their lack of responsibility cost us 1k in hotel fee's and 1500 in service cost. we are extremely unhappy, and we want a refund on our warranty purchase. We are not recommending this company to anyone until we can get an answer to how and why this transpired. read more

First time using them due to having a new construction warranty. NOt impressed so far and will likely never use them. Have a leaky TXV per their technician and part is supposedly on backorder. AC started to make a weird noise next morning, so they advised we shut it off until someone came out. That was two days ago. Now they cancelled the work order the day of stating they can't do anything. AC is still not working. It's just below 90 degrees and mid 90 degrees up stairs. Won't even offer to temp fix it, take a TXV from another unit at the warehouse or even replace the unit and repair/reinstall mine at another. Basically professionally told to deal with it. All other AC shops call this a specialized part and have to special order it. As someone who works for a dealer/manufacturer partnership, I know you have certain pull in emergency situations like this and can work around it. We still have not had our electrical inspection! It is a constant run around and now no return calls. Stay away!

My first experience was when I purchased a new unit and had it installed. This was a year and five months ago. The installers were wonderful. My problems began when the cage to protect the unit took well over a month to install. I made several calls before someone finally came out to complete the installation. During this time apparently our Florida critters gave birth under my home by building nests in the ductwork. Onestop inspected prior to installing my unit and said it was in good repair. In November only nine months after installing the unit the ductwork was completely ruined and the technician who came out said it needed to be replaced. I was given a price and to their credit that price was honored 3 months later. Guess what--the old cage wasn't reinstalled because according to the QA person the unit needed to be moved over to fit properly and a new cage installed. I'm still waiting. I've called both the office and QA person and still no response. I'm frustrated because my husband is now I'll and his comfort is my utmost concern. I will not recommend this company and worse may have to have another contractor do the job they didn't complete. Just hoping the ductwork isn't being destroyed again. We have still not been contacted and it's August. Does not help that my husband is ill and this company knew why we needed to be certain of the ductwork repair. read more

Stay as far away from this company as possible!! They completed a new system install in my newly built home. When they hooked it up the installer crossed the wires on the emergency float switch. This caused the unit to flood my house and destroy my baseboards and drywall. Up to now I have paid over $3500.00 out of pocket, and there are still $2000.00 more issues that need to be addressed. TLDR: Please listen to the below reviews including this one that you should NOT hire One Stop recently acquired by Strada Services. In short should you have purchased a Service Warranty Plan by One Stop it will not be honored as of Thursday, August 11 (and possibly before then per past reviewers). Parts may be covered due to your manufacturer warranty but keep in mind any AC servicer will be able to cover parts should your unit still be in its manufacturer warranty period. In order to compensate for these warranties One Stop now Strada Services is charging excessive labor charges to its previous One Stop warranty customers. I was quoted a labor charge approximately $600-800 more than three other local AC companies to fix an evaporator coil/TXV valve. Do not hire this company. Customer service will not get back to you efficiently and you will be overcharged. - [ ] I bought a new construction townhome in December 2018 with an AC unit installed by One Stop. In April 2020 my high pressure valve broke. We purchased a Service Warranty Plan (SWP) in 2020 which we have kept and renewed each year most recently in March 2022 for over $400. In early August 2022 on a Thursday my AC unit was not cooling appropriately so I called One Stop. I spoke with the overnight calling service who told me a technician would call me the next day and I should definitely seek service since I "had the SWP". I had to call One Stop the next day as no one called me to follow up on my service inquiry. I was scheduled for an appointment the following Monday from 8-1 pm. At 1:05 pm on Monday my technician had not showed up. It took about 45 minutes worth of calling from multiple phone lines and being placed on hold to reach a representative at One Stop who answered the phone as "Strada Services" to my surprise. I was told my technician was running behind and I was the next stop. At 3:30 pm the technician still had not arrived. I called again and was told he had stopped somewhere else before me. At 4:35 my technician arrived without the 30 minute call ahead I was promised by two employees on the phone. My unit was diagnosed with an interior leak and patched "for approximately $1,000 worth of labor/parts but good thing I had the SWP because this would be expensive" per the technician. I was charged $25 per my contract and told the part was not on hand and had to be ordered and fixed at a later date. The following morning I was called by Marissa from the parts department and a voicemail was left saying I had to approve $1400 in order to order the evaporation coil and TXV part. All day I could not get through to one person at One Stop/Strada. I was told by a receptionist my warranty would be honored and they'd have someone from service or parts call me back. No one did. The next day I called again and finally got through to someone who said as of Thursday August 11 they were not honoring the SWP. My parts were covered under my manufacturer warranty but I would owe $1400 in labor alone despite my plan being honored two days ago. Two days prior everything was covered under the same ticket that was not resolved. The original man I spoke with even stated he felt my quote was high, but upon speaking with parts it was the correct quote for labor. One Stop now Strada has quoted me a significantly higher charge compared to 3 other AC companies to fix the same problem. Like many below a report has been filed with the BBB. Per the man spoken with who denied my SWP One Stop has been acquired and filed bankruptcy. If Strada has in fact only purchased the assets of this company then current and future customers should know you will be burned and uncompensated. I used to find both One Stop and Strada reputable companies but their customer service, efficiency and inability to handle a transition has changed this opinion greatly. I wish I had seen the below reviews before calling them and dealing with such incompetent and rude customer service. I encourage you to seek alternative companies whether large or small. I ironically use Strada Services for my security as they performed my installation in 2019. They have replaced my entire circuit breaker as Strada Electric in 2022 after multiple failed breakers from initially installing faulty ones and taking fault for it. I'm incredibly disappointed in their acquisition of the AC department and would never consider services with this company again. read more

I have no problem with the tech guy/service provided. My problem is with their pricing for parts. This is the second time I used this company. The first time they replaced a $10 part and charged us $75. This time they quoted $272 for the part and when I looked it up online it was $75-$120. Now, I understand the markup game, but this part was clearly marked up an egregious amount. I refused to pay that amount and they agreed to knock off $40. We needed the part, so what could I do? One Stop had come out Sept of 2022 under a claim I had with Choice Warranty, they had to replace my coil in my AC to resolve an issue with it not cooling due to it leaking. I paid about $500 out of my pocket since the warranty company wouldn't cover some things. A/C has worked great, but this year during the cold winter i tried to use my heat and it isn't blowing hot, i contacted Choice Warranty again and they had someone come out and said that seems that during that coil repair and purge/recharge of the system, contaminates entered the system and caused issues to where it won't heat. Obviously they won't cover the repair as it was caused by someone else. I am very upset at the fact that OneStop did the work and caused other issues to the point where i can't get heat. I tried contacting by calling, no responses or call backs, I texted the person who did the work, no response at all. This company is causing me $9000 worth of repairs as now i have to replace the system and they won't return calls or even attempt to rectify the issue. I will never use this company again and have cancelled my Choice Warranty plan due to both are unprofessional and won't help where things went wrong due to poor workmanship. We were scheduled to have One Stop begin replacement installation for a new Heat/AC system on March 2nd between 8:00am and 9:00am. By 3:00pm no one had arrived, and we received no calls, emails or texts to explain the situation! We texted Philip Mitchell to ask what was going on, his reply was: "I am sorry, I have no idea what happened, ............. just called me and said we never received the coil from Goodman, and no one called you guys to reschedule bc we didn't have all of the equipment. OMG I can't believe this! We are trying to figure out where the coil is right now. I will be back in touch with you shortly". We have heard NOTHING from them since! We needed a new AC system and after six estimates decided to go with One Stop. They were set for an install in a few days from our decision. They showed up on day one of our two day install and did their work. Day 2 was duct work and zoning. They showed up and notified me they didn't have the parts to do the work. I was a little frustrated because I had taken two days off from work for the install and someone must have dropped the ball on the order. They scheduled to come back on the weekend. They made up for their mistake by offering me a discount. The technicians were great and friendly. Steve our sales guy was great. It was just a frustrating experience and seemed unorganized with the mistake. My system includes a rebate which is to be registered by One Stop, I am one month out and it is not registered yet. Other than those issues, I love my new system and the quality of the install. 2.5 months after install my ceiling was wet. After cutting a hole in the ceiling we find out that the duct is full of water because the float switch failed. I was told to file an insurance claim. No responsibility. They fixed the float switch, but I had an additional $20000 worth of water damage from the ceiling to the flooring. read more

A month ago our AC broke down (still under warranty with them)...the tech did not know what the codes meant on the thermostat. He then told us we needed a part to be replaced. One week later, they scheduled an appointment between 8am & 1 pm & they never showed up. It took us then 4 days to get ahold of someone on the phone who then told us the part wasn't in yet...which Ashley the sales girl told us over the phone that the part had arrived. Impossible to get anyone on the phone, they DO NOT return phone calls whatsoever. We spent over 2 weeks of having no AC in the middle of summer (90 degrees inside the house) we called another company out who fixed our AC in a matter of minutes (no part needed). This morning (which is 4 weeks after the original phone call) I receive a call from a tech saying he was 25 minutes out for the repair. We have had an issue with them since before we even move into our new construction home. The unit installed in our nearly 2300 sq foot home is only 3ton, which by all load calculations is too small. They kept telling us it was right and it passed all florida codes. Since the day we moved in, humidity in our house has not dropped under 65%. We called soooo many times to give them a chance to resolve this, but it has been impossible to work with them. Each time you call, you get an answering dept, who sends you to scheduling dept, who tells you tech will call. Tech never calls, or if they call they say they have to talk back with scheduling dept and then no one ever calls back. Today they finally showed up as part of our warranty service repair and along with a tech came a "manager" who threatened us IN OUR OWN HOME to remove negative review written about them or they will take legal action. ZERO STARS! I have to make that clear since the Yelp app doesn't offer this option. I'll keep this short because this company isn't worth any more of my time. Bottom line: it appears their primary source of income is large commercial construction projects which warrant zero customer service as they deal directly with the building company. I moved into my new construction home, and within the first two years, I had approximately 10 service calls with One Stop as there was one problem after another. After one of the service calls, the next guy couldn't believe what the previous guy did, and had to fix his colleague's mistake. Of course, after the magical two year warranty expiration provided by the builder, a defect was found by an outside company I had to hire. I contacted One Stop to tell them of this significant problem, and asked if, after all the issues I had, they would do the job gratis. I'll let you readers assume what that answer was. I'll give One Stop credit for one thing: they make it VERY clear--at least to this customer--that customer service is not a priority. P.S. I had this company install a new AC unit for me October 2021 through Costco. They were great through the install process and even followed up numerous times with minor issues I had. Initially I thought they were a great company, but here we are ten months later and I have a completely different opinion. My maintenance light is on + my thermostat is acting very erratic, and I have been trying to get through to them to schedule service for the last 10 days. I have left six voicemails and sent several emails, and no one has ever called me back, I did receive a response to one of my emails and then nothing. You can never get through to a live person no matter how you try to navigate through their phone system. I can understand this is a very busy time of year for them and I would even be OK with a service appointment scheduled weeks in the future, but the fact that they never even called back and you cannot get through to anyone is simply unacceptable. read more
