I have tried many boba places and this is probably my new favorite spot in Modesto. There are so many unique drinks and flavors to choose from. Make sure to look at all the menus as there are many additional drinks that are advertised not on the main menu. Also, do not let the color fool you, but the rainbow boba is delicious! My gf and I had been going to T4 for awhile as that was the only good boba spot in Modesto but after being at One Tea couple of times...I think we found our new spot! Another boba place in Modesto, yas! I've been here twice and both times, the drinks were what I expected. This is a legit TEA place. Drinks don't taste like it's sugar-loaded or chemically enhanced with all kinds of syrupy concoctions. My favorite so far is the matcha milk tea. I really wanted to like this place. Was so excited when another boba place opened in modesto so I of course had to go and try it out. I walked in to loud blaring music and an empty store and was not greeted. I ordered with 25% sweet and 25% ice and it was full of ice and super sweet. I ordered different stuff for my family and they did not like it very much either. The boba was half over cooked and half under cooked. Favorite boba tea place in Modesto! My wife is a bit of a boba tea snob, and we both love this place. There's a huge variety of drinks and toppings, and the tea is fresh. My wife loves that you can choose fresh milk drinks as well. I love the honey camellia tea with boba and the Hong Kong milk tea. The customer service and atmosphere are also hands down the best in town. This has got be one of Modesto 's best kept secrets! read more

Excuse the half drunken drink picture, I was eager to try the drink and couldn't stop. This place is a hidden gem. I came by on a whim while waiting for food to get ready and am glad I did. I tried the taro which is made from fresh taro so if you're not use to that then beware...it's not that purple powder. It is delicious and something I will definitely get again. The little bits of blended sweetened taro is a nice bite of texture to the drink that it doesn't need the extra add ins if all you want is a good drink. I always order a taro drink wherever I go because to me, if a drink place can make a good taro drink then I'm sold. I will be back to try some of the other interesting drinks on the menu. read more

Came across this small tea shop while looking for a tea shop on yelp and I'm so glad we stopped by! The staff was very welcoming from the moment we walked in, they were patient for us to look at the menu for a little while (it was our first time there) while ordering, the cashier was super helpful and willing to customize all drinks we ordered, even after my drink came out, I asked to add some milk to my tea and they added it right away... Wanted a fix of some boba and we came across this place right across from the dance Studio where both my girls attend, and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and the drinks were amazing. They even custom made my order. A little on the pricey but it's worth it. If you're looking for drinks or tea where you can taste the goodness of the tea, this is the place to go! The tea is really refreshing and not overtaken by the bitterness. It is perfect! It is the closest thing to Bay Area teas in Modesto. I recommend Green Milk Tea, Taiwanese Latte, and Boba Milk Tea! Just left one tea and it was great :) drove by and saw this place and decided to stop in. Place is cute and nice w food service. So went in today to pick up an order and I had remembered from the last time I went in for a pickup, that the bathroom was open for customers to use. So I came in and mentioned the name on my order and while the woman was getting it together I walked to the back to use the restroom thinking nothing of it, also noticed a gentlemen sitting at one of the tables on a laptop. I'm assuming he was an employee, possibly the owner of the tea house. Anyways, came back out from using the restroom and walked to the lobby and didn't notice the order was done. The woman in the front mentioned it was ready and also said "next time you come in here, you need to ask to use the restroom. You can't just walk into the restroom without asking, because of covid" I had mentioned "well when I came in the last time, you guys had said it was okay to use it", using logic from previous experience and she cut me off and said " you just have to ask next time". Now if that was the case they could have stopped me and said something as I was on my way to the back and the guy on the laptop didn't look like he was in a good mood, but he could have let me know before I went to the back, I walked right passed him. Anyways, feel a little discriminated against and somewhat harassed. Thought I should let people know how I was treated. read more
